Fan patched. John Ramero knows classic FPSs pretty well and this shows. The problem is he wasn't so great at the programming end of things. The game was bogged down by horrible ally AI which this fan patch just removed your partner all together and was glitchy, laggy, and especially on older computers, REALLY slow to load.
