I own a 3DS a PS4 and a Vita, i bought that game TWICE and I don't regret it, hell I love the 3ds (ultimate DQ machine) but I would be mad if builders were released on it.

dragon quest games are just a joy to play. the only series that's as consistent to me is kirby, and that's a considerable second place.

I have played Heroes 2 on a hacked Vita, I don't know how to explain it bit I like more Heroes 1.

I liked Heroes 1, but I was hoping a little bit more mousou.

Any translation out for that? I have a hacked Vita, but I'm not really doing anything with it.

Yeah, heroes 1 is way too tower defense but i fell like the monster coins mechanic was better on it.

Vita hacking scene is a joke on that regard, there's almos nobody willing to translate a DQ game and even more a Musou

Yeah it's amazing user. The frames are so smooth it's like I'm watching a movie. Truly the cinematic For The Players experience.

Other than the frames, the game is fine on Vita.

I replayed IV on my phone a few weeks back, having party chat really made me enjoy the game way more.

We are about 2 weeks from its release and outside us the fanbase almost nobody knows about it, just wait until the "professional reviewers" starts to drops the bombs on the resolution and the OST and then the bame will sell like VII did.

And still I'm hyped for the 3DS version

Not MIDI, Synth. It's the same soundtrack as the Japanese version, just not live orchestra, instead it's the versions of the songs put into the mobile port of VII and Theatyrhythm.

absolutely no objectively bad games
sure, both main series and spinoffs took a dip in quality (DQ2 and Caravan Hearts come to mind) but they recovered right away and continued delivering the same overall quality the series is known for

I'm playing DQVII right now as my first game in the series. I'm about 12 hours through right now; the backtracking in the present is starting to wear thin, but other than that the game is amazing. I'm thinking about switching over to VIII when it drops for 3DS, as it seems even better.
