Its a good game; but you need to build your team right from the start or you'll be screwed 30 hours in.

Yeah, its a definite flaw with the game.

If you build your team right its a fun game with a lot of content; but if you build a team that doesn't work then it can be very frustrating. I think its why a lot of people don't like it, they figure they'll build an all melee team or what not and the game hands their asses to them because there are only a few viable builds.

I hope they fix that with the next one.

Like everyone else is make a balanced team, but especially make both a regular healer with first aid and surgeon, then give someone else a single rank in surgery so they can revive the medic if necessary.

It probably doesn't help that the recruitable NPCs are suppose to compliment your starting team, not replace it. So unless you know exactly what you are doing and where to recruit them, they can become liabilities instead of useful. The game practically requires a guide before you can 'play'.

Also, remember to actually give them surgery kits, otherwise they can't actually revive anyone.
