APOLOGIZE
A battery pack seems like a #1 accessory.
Nothing of the sorts yet, sadly. But I expect Noki to be there day 1.
This is literally the only interesting leak
The LAN adapter seems somewhat big.
>you have to charge the joy con controllers
>you're going to have to juggle 3 battery lives
holy fuck this console is going to be shit
It says that it's concept art. You can probably just use the $10 Wii LAN adapter anyway. It's not like anything has changed.
What does it say in the bottom left of the controller?
-AP?
>wireless controllers
>no battery
choose one
the joycons charge if you plug them into the switch and then charge the switch
Copping this bitch day 1.
The Wii and Wii U had sticks, so not really. it does make a Tekken and MvC port likely at least.
RAP. Real Arcade Pro
And the Joycon grip that comes with the Switch.
>analog sticks are circle pads
>dpad is a monstrosity a billion times worse than the 360's
>for "serious gamers"
My
Fucking
Sides
RAP, real arcade pro
that's the hori one, idiot
>analog sticks are circle pads
Nope. They're regular analog sticks viewed directly from above, you dingus.
>it does make a Tekken and MvC port likely at least.
That's what I mean by the only thing interesting.
Everything else is just typical who cares accessories. At least an arcade stick implies certain games coming to the console.
>Wii U had sticks
really? was any of those licensed by nintendo? who were the manufacturers?
>that dpad
>the dpad is also tiny as fuck on the joycon controller as well
What the fuck NINTENDO
Wheres the accessory that makes the games not have awful graphics?
You can presumably use the old Wii ethermet adapters as well, no need to burn a hole for new plastic.
I've never had much problems with lag on wifi on any console, not much different from wired connections from my experience.
Switch also has 5ghz band going for it as well, so thats a plus for me.
10 bucks for wired is a small price of admission for those who dont have secure wifi connections, its not like your paying to play online.
SHIT.
But I hope someone makes an enhanced version with USB ports and maybe even a switch that lets me activate TV or Handheld mode on my own.
>Turbo button is on regular controllers now
There is no D-pad on the joycon controller. It uses C-buttons so you can turn the joycon sideways and use them as face buttons. The "tiny d-pad" on the joycon is a plus button.
also there's an official nintendo pro controller with a regular-ass d-pad. that one is 3rd party.
*Hori, these are 3rd party accessories. Pic related is the official pro controller
When did I say otherwise? It's a terrible design, I made no comment about who made it
Stale shitpost
Well they look exactly like circle pads and I see no photos from the side, so how do you know?
All handhelds have gotten fighting games, so the Switch getting them isn't really all that surprising. What would be surprising is a properly built for Switch fighter, not just ports. The Wii had sticks too.
Right here
>Wheres the accessory that makes the games not have awful graphics?
It's called a PC with Cemu
BotW will run at 4K when emulated
Madcatz did one for TTT2 @ launch. It's kind of why people are expecting T7 on Switch to come around launch time (or at least simultaneous with PS4/One/PC)
Because they're housed within a raised circular gate exactly the size of the stick its self. Circle pads require a flat surface all around them consistent with the pad's range of motion. That isn't present. Hence, not a circle pad.
Moreover, the joycons and official pro controller both have real analog sticks. There is no reason for Hori to produce a controller with circle pads.
lmao, fucking moron
>i lost my glasses 3 months ago
You realize you're posting a Wii U game, right?
>There is no reason for Hori to produce a controller with circle pads.
Other than the fact that they're a shit 3rd party and putting circle pads where analog sticks should go is exactly the type of thing a shit 3rd party does
I wanted a case for it day one but that just looks ugly. The console itself is ALREADY ugly so combining two together is utter insanity considering I expect so much more from Nintendo since they usually nail their portable product design and Hori generally makes cool looking shit.
This just looks fucking retarded and lazily put together to meet launch date.
Looks like you forgot what circle pads look like.
Circle pads need to have a depressed area around it instead of going over the edge of a plastic circle. This is so the pad doesn't get stuck when going back to the default position.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT SQUARE BUTTON WITH THE CIRCLE IN IT
I hope I can use this for PC, looks nice.
doug
>and putting circle pads where analog sticks should go is exactly the type of thing a shit 3rd party does
You might have a valid point if it weren't for the fact that literally no third party has ever done this. Show me a third party controller for a system that has analog sticks which substitutes slide pads. I can wait.
Looks like a fucking Madcatz controller.
Is it an UE4 game?
I recall an UE Japan guy mention that there were a lot of UE games coming over to Switch, both past and future ones.
Amiibo
So how big will the SD card capacity go? I hope it's higher than 128GB.
I don't really care
There's something up with those analog sticks whatever the case may be, they don't look right. They might not be *exactly* circle pads but something is going on
Splatoon/MK8.5/Smash/Pokken LAN parties are gonna be real and I can't wait.
i feel it
>but something is going on
I can tell you right now. It's a 3D render viewed at a precise 90 degree angle. We've lost the sense of depth because of the perspective of the shot.
that's literally it
Does the D Pad like, move?
Why is there a gap around it, am I misunderstanding this thing. The rest looks fine but what the hell is going on with that D Pad
Rumored to be 128 "to start".
Much like 3DS tho, I expect that support to be facetious or expand once those high storage micro SDs become more affordable.
Yes.
>SWITCH HAS NO ETHERNET PORT
>2017
NINTENDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>that huge bag
that's just asking to be robbed
They will probably claim it supports up to 128gb, but like the 3ds you could use higher memory sd cards by formatting them.
I think you might have a point, user. Remember how the 360 had circle pads too?
I hope this big.
>make a console who's main gimmick is that it can split it's controls
>license an accessory that limits just that
sasuga, nintendo
looks like a fixed platform-dpad like the 360 had, except much bigger
Judging by past history of Nintendo SD support, I'd say it'll go as high as SD cards do. 3DS only officially supports SDHC cards, but it works perfectly with SDXC cards up to 256GB and beyond. Switch will be the same.
t.inner city minority
>implying I won't instead carry the Official Zelda Switch Purseā¢
You really think I'm that much of a pleb?
Slow down there my niggery friend. Nobody asks to get robbed.
I wouldnt say thats its main gimmick. The main gimmick is being able to easily switch between playing a console game at home or on the go. But even with that, this accessory limits that lol.
I'm going to laugh if it ends up being circle pads and not perspective
And if you look at the r-stick you can see it's not a directly-above shot. You can see the edge of the top, which makes it look short and stubby like it's not any taller than the pad
>presumably
I can use it on my Wii U, its not an exactly limiting piece of plastic.
Why isn't the case made to fit the switch without the joy cons attached?
If nothing else, the game case looks like it has slots for microSD cards, not regular size ones. So that's something.
More importantly, the stick semi confirms the GC Adapter might work on the Switch.
Wii U uses the same adapters as the Wii, so the same will likely happen here.
>a fucking lunch box
>drone defense force is so on edge that they're defending even horii 3rd party garbage
really
So that your neighborhoods thugs can know you're carrying a Switch so they can snatch it as they walk by you
Because you can't play the switch in portable mode without the joycons
they could have made the case thicker and let you store the joycons behind the main unit, but that's a waste of space.
Considering this is a 3rd party ethernet port and functions this simply, I expect you would still be able to use the Wii/WiiU ones easily.
...why would you have them separated while in a case?
Is this to make it so you can't accidently detach the controllers?
Then why are the controller detaching buttons not covered?
the chinese will go to town with copied stuff if those prices are true, and i think they are
20 euros for literally a piece of plastic that does nothing else
aliexpress will have it for 3 including shipping
No one cares about Hori shit. We're interested in the implications of the accessories they're making. Like microsd card cases confirming microsd card support.
Nobody here is actually going to buy the Zelda themed Switch purse
>nice big case
>no room for a decent "pro" controller
No thanks. The thing seems a bit pointless to me. I mean, sure I can carry the dock, but where do I need to carry it to? My friend's house where he should have his own dock? A hotel room where I can set up the dock on a tiny ass TV, but then lose out on not having a comfy controller? Fuck, at that point I might as well play the game in portable mode.
I'll take a smaller case designed for the portable part only.
Which ones?
That logic makes no sense, and the dome around the right stick is larger towards the bottom because of the curve of the controller's grip.
I think Ive seen a design like this from another accessory maker. Works fine, the added benefit of a pouch holding the joycons also gives you room to store games in.
>asymmetrical sticks
FUCK YOUUUUUUU MICROSOFT
They are at the very top, the + button on the right side is easy to see
I gotchu pham
That's not a lunchbox.
I just realized, you won't be able to use the Switch on the TV without the dock, so my DS virtual console idea is out
You store them in a pouch
I'd use that carrying case.
>People make fun of you for having a purse
The Plus button is just pause.
No shit dude.
Those arent the joycon release buttons, those are functionally Start and Select.
The Joycon release buttons are on the back, you can see them in the Fallon video.
We had that gimmick already on the Wii U.
The DS VC releases just displayed both screens on top of each other...
I'm talking about this. It makes it seem like there's very little depth
The + isn't a detach button
Nah, Id put the bag in my bigger bag
is capacity a software thing?
