I already made one bitch

Theyll push us to /vg/ if you start threads this way.

CURIOUS IS THE TRAP MAKERS ART

S-Sorry, senpai. P-please don't be rude to me.

Never mind, it died, you killed it

Sorry, pham. Will create the Dankest Dungeon thread next time.

>first battle in a boss dungeon.
>one of your characters gets double crit'd and gets the deaths door debuff.

His efficacy unwitnessed by his own eyes.

>occultist heals 0 plus bleed

>trusting an occultist to heal

Is darkest dungeon an okay game to play while smoking? It seem like it would be ideal, being turn based.

He can not group heal like Vestal, but he is the only one who can debuff enemies' damage to zero... In my opinion, he is more useful than Vestal almost every cases.
C-can I have the sauce?

Even better with alcohol on hand, beer and liquor
>Take a sip every time you get crit
>take 3 if your hero develops an affliction
>take two if you set up camp
>Sip once you finish a dungeon
>Shot of liquor if a hero dies
>shot for killing a boss
>2 for failing

Maybe 1 for every corridor explored?

Why are there so many threads about this game in the past few days?

Was there a major update?

I like to take both.
>Vestal heals
>Occultist debuffs and nukes, heals if someone gets real low
>Vestal always goes after him so if he flubs his heal she can still heal

Works best with all in damage teams for the frontline who have a way to shuffle to the front in case someone gets pulled or they get pushed.

Winter sale
>Was there a major update?
just a minor one and the devs asking for more feedback cuz they need it for the radiant mode they are working

Its always when you need him most, too. I almost never use occultists anymore unless I have to.

Hellion, Bounty Hunter, Occultist, Arbalest.
This is my perfect bosshunter party, used it successfully 5 times. The only problem is stress.

Thats a great way to die of alcohol poisoning.

I'd rather heal the entire party for 7 every single turn and crit occasionally.

...

A tonic against the bloodshed

>mfw my Occultist always heal me for about 12-22
>they never fuck up for some odd reason

Yeah it's great, especially if it chills you out. This game can get kinda stressful sometimes if you're the type to get invested so it can help.
Be careful user, you could die with that routine.

>no bush on Plague Waifu to contrast against that delicious pale, pale skin
FUCK

Giving him a heal trinket can help that a fair bit.

I keep getting brain fucked with maddness.

Is there a paste bin / guide for people who generally are shit or starting?

Remind yourself.

jester nigga

What battle theme is the best and why is it The Cove's?

help im addicted to this game

arnaud.rocks/darkest-companion/

>Always carry enough food
>at least two keys
>poke the red orb to get top tier trinkets
>change skills while you rest between battles

Nah nigga the DD battle theme is by far the best.

For me, it's like when I need 1, 2 HP to top someone up, he gives me 20 and crit. When I seriously need two-digits heal to get someone out of Death's Door, he give me 0 plus bleed. But I have never had anyone killed by his bleed anyway.
Stun and kill enemies' backliners first and you will be fine.

Also kill the little pig first.

>When your party members are missing consistently at the start of a long dungeon
It's gonna be one of those runs I can already feel it.

And bring Occultist to debuff the big pig's damage to zero.

>When you tried this on the boss with the benches

never have I been that butthurt before.

>open chest
>games crashes
This fucking RNG

I've further revised the Doom Marine.

I swear to god wyrd reconstruction secretly has a larger chance of 0 heal when the target's at Death's Door. It's happened to me maybe three times this campaign.

Nevermind the heros, I'M the one who's going to have a heart attack.

It's not practical but it works.
The problem is that it's much, much easier to just kill the faggot instead of selling wood.

Fucking pisses me off that the wiki recommended this meme but says Crusader is a waste of a slot for this fight.

Prophet is fucking unholy and stresses people, Crusader lance will rape him, and they keep stress at 0 while eating bricks like fucking breakfast cereal.

>needing to heal at 1, 2 hp

You must be afflicted with autism, my condolences.

I stopped going there and decided to man the fuck up innocolate flesh was a rollercoaster, but I had two bleeds that kept ticking down on it. Thought I was gonna have to run when my vesta was put at DD due to 9/11 attacks, but it switched to stunlocking and I resisted enough to finish it off

What's the must absurd luck, good or bad, you've ever had?

>New campaign
>First mission after the Old Road
>Usual Suspects™
>First hallway encounter
>Oh fuck the Collector
>Ignore vestal, remove highwayman, get lucky crits
>Junia's Head and Puzzling Trapezohedron
>Later on, secret room
>Still have key
>Three more PTs
>Finish first short apprentice mission with 20k+ gold

So what will you do in free turns (enemies will get blighted/bled to death)?

>short missions
>secret room

>Leper is still dog shit despite being the most noble of them all

>Everyone's on DD with two dots each and the flesh rolls two heads and two butts for its turn

>flesh rolls two spines and two heads

Oh shit, that's right. Must have been the second or third mission after the Old Road, after mandatory apprentice short.

The point is: 4 PTs on like week 3 makes the early game laughable. You can't even spend that kind of money unless you go full retard buying trinkets.

what the hell are you talking about? Stop swinging in the dark and bring torches

>Arbalest goes nuts
>one shots Wilburg

I use a ticket that gives bleed resist and reduces bleed skill, so he never procs is.

>both dumbasses keep spamming revelation on my leper
Thanks for for the free win asshole. Feels good finishing this quest

>Use MaA with guard and revenge to help negate swine prince obliteration
>Use knockback skill on the prince for the damage, somehow overcome his move resist
>Wilbur now in front
>Bit'o Squeal
>RIPOSTE
>CRIT

Well, it was a nice run.

Are there none on Short missions? I never knew that. Learn something new about this game every day.

There's so much shit in this game I only figured out hours in. Did you know you can still use supply items on curios during a quirk forced interaction if you're fast enough?

So much disease and stress I could have dodged.

Only medium and long dungeons have secret room.

>you can still use supply items on curios during a quirk forced interaction if you're fast enough
How?

You right click the correct item when the quirk mask shows up.

>go outside first area for first time
>whole party gets stressed to shit
>everyone afflicted
>its now a constant chain reaction of them stressing each other out
>have to retreat before everyone dies of heart attacks

i did not need that shit on literally my third run

Thạnks mate. Why try the next time.

*will

>having whole party afflicted outside of champion level or darkest dungeon missions.

How bed r u?

hey what should I draw

i havent 100% learned how to game the game just yet

If you are having trouble managing stress bring a Jester with you and give him finale and three back row abilities.
Have him 1shot one of the enemies with finale for his first turn and then have him reduce stress/buff allies from back.

also, you can take an occultist or bounty hunter that can hook and drag cultist girls and skeleton nobles to the front lines.

the tempting goblet guys can't tempt you with goblets at the front rows; they can only use a shitty stab

>finally get a leper
>negative quirk: calm
>locked in

back onto the road you go

Haven't played since the DLC released.
Is it any good?

The Grave Robber counting her loot and nagging about how she should take a bigger cut

Just do one of those long missions that makes removing negative quirks and locking positive free senpai.

alternatively just deal with it, its not such a big deal.

I always thought it was funny in a game about being stressed out all the time that being calm was a bad thing.
What's it like in the future?

Draw one of the characters with spooky corruption that appears ingame after the first darkest dungeon mission.

Seconded

Houndmaster's dog sniffing Abominations beast form butt

trying something. Should I continue? I can't really draw well and I can't seem to get the coloring right. I always wanted to make a Dr Doom-esque skin for the Leper. Right now I only have the basic idea of the mask though that's not very Doom-Like. What else should I do?

That is almost worse than the Wild Zero drinking game whihc is simply take a drink anytime
>someone is combing their hair.
>someone else drinks.
>someone says “Rock and Roll”
>someone’s head explodes.
>there is fire on the screen.
Then there are scenes where hair is combed, they drink, yell rock and roll, then flames shoot out of their motorbikes. Can't remember if there is and every single thing scene but probably. Either way you are fucked after no time at all.

Give the fucker that trinket that debuffs bleed skill.

He won't bleed anyone for a while.

I still prefer to use Arbalest as heal support + crit killer.

Prophet's an easy kill with arbalest and Man at arms to negate damage and that falling debris.

>Also kill the little pig first

It was pretty obvious but I did it anyway.

So long team.

its something

>nearing end of scouting mission in warrens
>just one more room
>party on its last legs
>large carion eater and swinetaur in hallway
>it's all ogre.jpg
>houndmaster goes first
>dog biscuit
>+damage vs. beast trinket
>hound's rush
>CRIT
>54 damage
>No corpse, swinetaur in front rank before it can charge

Good girl.

Keep it up, this is neat

very nice

Try using a darker shade of green and making the features of the mask more visible rather than being covered in shadows. Not a drawfag myself though so im not sure if it will look better or not.

Shoot, bandage and pillage: the dancing steps of war.

Thanks

I-it was my first time...

>hero comes back from the grave
>my lvl 6 leper
>hero comes back from the grave
>my lvl 6 vestal

Praise the light, two more and I can make a Saint team.

>good run, had to ditch a key for some loot
>critical scouting the very next room, found a secret room
The proceeded to get my ass handed to me by the boss anyways.

You're good bro

I had to spend $400 on college textbooks today.

>Many fall in the face of chaos, but not this one...not today.

I WENT IN BLIND
I'M USED TO GAMES HIDING THE WAY FORWARD IN THE SMALLER ENEMIES, THOUGH I WAS BEING SMART BY TAKING OUT THE LITTLE FAGGOT MARKING MY DUDES
Almost a total party wipe, limped away with one dude at death's door. Lost my favorite Heroes there. RIP.

This sounds like a good idea.

Why do you guys bag on the highwayman so much in these threads? He's my favorite damage dealer.

Conversely, I don't get the Graverobber praise. It feels like she doesn't do anything unless she crits, and while this is probably just my bad luck it seems like she constantly deals minimum damage. What am I doing wrong with her?

I fucking love my Abomination, but holy shit why can't I hold all these heart attacks.

You say we've already seen this before, but you're still freaking out from seeing it, you stupid plague doctor.

>why try
Injury and despondence set the stage for heroism... or cowardice

Eyebrows lower or absent, slightly more slit-like eyes. Good start.

It wasn't that bad when the early access didn't have heart attacks.
