Level design was horse shit
Weapon balancing was non-existent
Only good armors were copied from old games
At least they got multiplayer right, finally
Why are you watching DipshitPhil?
He's really funny.
Now tell me, what do you think of DaS III?
False
False
False
Seems like you have bad taste friend.
Worst game in the entire series.
I had no desire to go into new game+ or start a new build. The early game is just way too bland and the game is just too easy. Having that many rolls with starting stamina just doesnt make any sense, the more you roll the more stamina you should consume with every roll.
i cant say anything about the first two games but i also had no desire for ng+ aswell and the story was kinda odly told, so i watched some lore videos on yt after i beat the game.
It's good, great even.
But the fact that they played it safe with virtually every aspect and the overpriced DLC (I'll eat my hat if DLC2 has equal/more content than AotA) solidifies it as worse than the original and more importantly, worse than Bloodborne.
It's good. I like it.
I don't understand all the complaints about the DLC's length. Sure it only took me about 3.5 hours but I enjoyed it, and Blackflame Friede is a great fight apart from the second phase
My biggest complaint is the way poise works. It's pretty stupid.
It was pretty bad. At least DaS2 had good fashion.
I just finished it the other day, its better than 2 and not as challenging as 1, but i still really enjoyed it, had fun bosses.

You're trying to trigger Sup Forums, but this board is too stupid to fall for subtle bait.
Just use Wojack/Pepe memes, the Switch, and the PS4 for topics with hundreds of posts with shitflinging. You're better off using Bloodborne instead since that game gets shilled a lot here.
I was not a fan of the combat, I don't know if it was my imagination but enemies felt overly aggressive.
Also many of the early bosses rely on the same fucking gimmick of outnumbering the player and it got old pretty quickly. I got to the Deacons and just lost my will to keep playing. I'll finish it someday.
But Deacons is the second easiest boss in the entire game. Potentially one of the easiest bosses in Soulsborne history.
I wouldn't know as I didn't give them a chance, as soon as I saw multiple targets I stopped playing.
I kind of dont understand why people like it so much.
It seems like the new fast-paced combat... doesn't fit the game. i.e. what worked in bloodborne doesnt work here, because your character still moves slow. the Estus Flask is WAY slower than Blood Vials. That might sound like a small deal, but it's a huge part of what makes the fast-paced combat of Bloodborne work. There are also way more "swarms" of enemies in DS3 than there were in the previous DS games, which makes direct combat very often not a viable issue. Then there's the whole "hyper-armor/poise" issues, which is just the cherry on top of the bullshit pie.
But the part of DS3 that I really dont care for is that, by all accounts of reading around and watching my brother play several runs... they seem to have broken the whole concept of "builds". A sorceror build sucks now for 80% of the game, and winds up just being a challenge run (although admittedly it can wreck the Lord of Cinders). A tank run doesn't work for spit anymore. A faith run is *even worse*, and you cant even effectively use miracles to help you out in other runs. Pyromancy isn't the great "you dont have to worry about stats and/or can do a vitality build" option it was in DS1 still (although DS2 is the one who broke that). It seems to me like the whole appeal of a Dark Souls game was to be able to play as a bunch of different classes, a bunch of different ways, and feel like you were equally capable as other players. Wasn't that part of the whole magic?
I mean, Bloodborne didn't really have that, but Bloodborne didn't pretend to. It made it clear that there was *one right way* to play. DS3 makes it LOOK like all kinds of playstyles are viable options... it's just... none of them actually are.
I just don't understand why more people don't feel like this is a *massive* regression for the series.
...
Miyazaki managed to dump all the good features of the previous two games to release a turd thats even worse.
Pretty good I found most of it enjoyable but level design at times were boring, certain weapons out performed others by far, bosses weren't much of a challenge for me but at least were entertaining.
I would give it a 7/10. Haven't played the DLC though.
...
I dont even believe this is just a paid shill. Must be a person with extremely strong case of autism that rivals even the barneyfag himself.
man, I can't wait until this game gets released and you crawl back into your hole, edgy katana sucking faggot
...
Pretty disappointing compared to 1. They made the same mistakes as they did with 2. Replaced Soul Memory with easier gank squads and Adaptability with poise.
Invading starts to be pretty fun if you accept that you're not going to win against every gank.
You can still occasionally meme on people if they're bad enough.
This game is so fucking rigid and clunky, stop shilling it
2nd weakest game in the series and the DLC did nothing to change that
>Second easiest
What the fuck is easier than them?
No matter what it turns out to be, The Mark of the Conqueror is significant.
Before I say why I need to divide the Souls community into two general groups - Conquerors and Conquered - and quickly define both.
Both have basically been around since Demon's Souls, but the very nature of the Conquered demands that the Conquerors come first. Why? Because Conquerors beat the path and light the way. Afterward, like mold or a rot, the Conquered seep into the community, ever at the heels of the Conquerors.
How is that? Either by a lack of information upon release or due to a self-imposed restriction, the Conqueror goes in blind. Conquerors embrace the challenge From Software has extended with each release in their Souls/Bloodborne Series while the Conquered abhor it. While Conquerors scratched and clawed their way through levels and boss fights, the Conquered poured over FAQs, Strategy Guides, Wiki Articles, Google Search Results, Let's Plays and How to Videos.
Therefore the Conquered subsist by virtue of the illumination spread over From's games by the Conquerors, entirely dependent on it. Overtime they've let themselves forget this, fancying themselves old hands as they bring their borrowed knowledge and tactics to bear on each successive release.
And then here comes f***ing Nioh, reminding the Conquered who they really are. And with little to no documentation in sight they hide behind s***posts so they can cling to that "gud" status they worked so hard to attain. Eventually they'll be back. Once the Conquerors have shown the way, that is.
And that's why The Mark of the Conqueror is significant. No matter how superficial, uselessly cosmetic or quickly outclassed it is, it still says I'm not this . No, I'm a Conqueror.
Wolnir. Arguably Yhorm, but I'd say he's a tad harder.
>>>/Reddit/
>the game is just too easy
Gee, it's like you've played other souls games and you know what to watch out for.
This isn't a Nioh thread, and that wasn't an Oni.
You can get everything you'd want for early game sorcery right after Vordt, Yoel and especially Yuria give you very powerful tools. Same with Faith, it takes a little longer to get Gnaw but you have plenty of healing spells. Anyone that says they're not "viable" has no idea what viable actually means. At most you just have to think about things differently and use more options beyond what you're used to. That doesn't make it any less the kind of build you're using either.
i love this pasta
Bosses were better than 2, more diverse and fun. Imo the only thing they really fucked was magic, it's totally useless. Other than than that, it's fun.
Newest DLC isn't out yet, so they may yet fix it
>long ranged spells just don't oneshot most enemies anymore unless you have a specific setup for it
>useless
The fuck is this OP image? Were you too stupid to upload the picture you have open, you subhuman spic?
Played dark souls 2. Shit game with the same repetitive garbage and terrible concept. Map design was also shit. If I have to be honest it was probably the worst game I've ever played, no joke.
I assume dark souls 3 is the same.
>Imagine being this autistic
The problem with magic in 3 is that so few spells are worth a damn. Great Heavy Soul Arrow outperforms all other projectiles in pve so you end up using just that for 90% of the game. Found the mythical tome of Big Hat Logan and gained access to Soul Spears? Throw it in the trash this jobber spell I got at level 10 does 20 less damage for a third of the fp.
Cathedral of the Deep was some of the dopest shit in all of Souls.
Dumb tabs are a time honored tradition around here, newfag. No one need be triggered.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
calm down lol
There's a ton other spells that are worth using though, even just in sorcery which you're not limited to. Farron Flashsword, Soul Greatsword, Homing Soul Mass, Crystal Soul Spear and Great Deep Soul are all also very useful based on what you want on hand, and there's the buff spells as well.
I really like Dark Souls 3. Great boss fights and music.
But fucking anor londo. It felt so fucking underwhelming.
KEK
crystal soul spear 1-hit murders a lot of people in irithyll around lvl 60

Is this a clone of the soul series? Lmao at the phantom summoned being sunbro yellow
Fuck off already. Every damn thread. The only thing you are achieving is turning people off from Nioh. You're obnoxious.
Just ignore him he's autistic and wants people to fight over the games.
DaS2 was better. The world was prettier, the PvP was better and the lore didn't retcon the entire series.
A better game than 2, but a more frustrating one
2 was at it's core a bad game with good things about it
3 has such potential to be a great title but it seems to sully all that potential with a few missing details, every time I play it I end up more pissed off about how it ended up
This god fuck I really want people to realize this already. Don't ever reply to this shitposting faggot, most of the webms aren't even his
...
Good shit lad. Keep posting more of this vastly superior game please.
Remember when you could make jokes on Sup Forums and not just have people think you were trolling/baiting?
Are e-celeb retards acceptable on this board now?
Someone got the comic where someone's doing stand up and some guy in the crowd start screaming "bait" or something? I really need it for situations like these.
>le epic shock internet tabs
Trying to fit-in much? People like you are pathetic
Saying someone is trying too hard to fit in is usually the biggest sign of someone trying too hard to fit in.
>Only good armors were copied from old games
the farram set was pretty baller, too bad its associated with edgelords now
the faraam set is not a Souls 3 set.
BASED DSP
I think he means the Fallen Knight set.
Only /ourguy/ acceptable
Wolnir can be a bitch depending on weapon. I was using rapier so it was actually quite difficult hitting his bracelets given the constant movement and camera angle. Took me 4 or 5 tries.
No he isn't, idiot.
