I already have DS3, i already have Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 on PS4 and played Dark Souls 1 on PS3, only missing Demon's Souls and DS 2

try and get the vanilla game instead.

Fun game to play co-op. You'll suffer a bit in the first 5 hours, and then the games gets really smooth.

i hate how they destroyed combat all to stop circle strafing

it is a lot if ups and downs, mainly improvements visually, a lot of downgrades gameplay-wise.

i think ds3 finally realized that demon souls had the system right and they didnt need to fuck with it so hard.

but the exchange for gameplay we suffered in a lot of areas.

Dark souls 3 isn't worse, but is less original. It doesn't take as much risks and plays it safe.

DS2 was actually a bigger game than DS1 and had more weapon, spells, etc variety even if the rest was worse, DS3 just improved over DS2 but didnt improve on DS1 in any sense since it had less weapons than DS2

Can't speak for consoles but PC is very lively.

You'll get your money's worth If you stick it out. It might be the worst and most aggravating of the souls games. But it's really only because of the level design. But the level design is that bad.

It's the longest of the games and has the most content though. So 20 is worth it if you don't quit half way through.
