Easter Orthodox Christian here. You probably won't be able to actually reinforce your faith playing vidya, due to the writing mostly being too simple and dumb. The only thing that comes to mind is the Fallout NV dlc, Honest Hearts.

When the word of God is able to be interpreted and/or redefined over multiple issues or not to be taken seriously as some sort of warning issue about common mistakes in life it quickly discredits the entire religion as not truly believing in a superior sentient power as originally and most of the followers being extremely outdated. The New Testament reads more like a book that guides people to delve into their inner demons over the original being straight up brutal.

The entire foundation of the Christian belief system is that the Jews had the wrong idea about God, just like Islam is based off the idea that Christians and Jews were both wrong. Nothing is reinterpreted or redefined on an case-by-case basis in either Islam or Christianity, they're complete reimaginings of the other's system of belief.

You want the Bible to slot in perfectly with everything you already believed. If it tells you something you don’t already believe.

This is a book that opens up with the claim that an uncreated, omnipotent, perfect being LITERALLY SPOKE the universe into being.

That’s the claim you should be figuring out if it is true or not. If it is, then everything else it claims is totally on the table.

This is a book that is (in-part) about supernatural occurences in and beyond human history. If you aren’t going to consider the possibility, there is no use reading it.

It would be like picking up an algebra textbook and deciding beforehand that all the stuff that involves variables can’t be true.
