Cats love lying on things that give them warmth and also smell of people they like, (or just smells nice in general). Sometimes they like to lie down in weird places or up high just to mess with you or get your attention, hoping you will walk by.

Its why you usually find them on your clothes, your bed, on cardboard boxes, on your face when they wake you up at night, or literally at your feet out of view, (and you accidentally knock them when you get up. Then they look at you confused like "why did you do that?")

I miss my cat. He was 18 years old and I had to make the call a few weeks before christmas to have him put down. (Kidney failure. Nothing could be done for him because he was so old. But it was ok because I think he was ready to die, as on that day he visited me in my room randomly and dozed by my side for hours purring away as I pet him as I played gamed and it was as if he was doing it for the last time because he was at peace when we took him to the vet. He just cooperated quietly and didn't object at all when I hugged him one last time as he purred like a baby)

He truly was my best friend.
(He kind of looked like this cat except he was a black and white tux. Completely black paw and nose pads too, which is rare in a tux)

But doesn't interrupt vidya for the most part, rarely it'll be the walk across the desk more often it'll be sit at the edge of the bed and cry at me or scratch the bed to get my attention.

My cat would try to jump onto my lap or on the desk whenever I was at the computer, and often liked to rest on the seat of the chair when it wasn't being used. It probably got a bit annoying when trying to play vidya from the couch, but he didn't mean any harm.

Every cat I've ever had had been needy as all fuck. One would actually have little panic attacks if I did not pet him enough and the only thing that would calm him down is letting him kneed and suckle on my shirt.

I still loved all of them though. Mad a little hamic thing I wrapped around the armrest the fit in the hole. Let my cats snuggle against my leg without them being on top. God forbid I get up though. My last one would always immediately stick his head out and meow at me when I did.

One room apartment'll def be more of a chore. I'd consider maybe a litterbox in the bathroom and then get a fancy one with a box-top or put one in a box/empty cupboard with the door open so it's out of sight and somewhat out of scent.

I once almost died when my dog suddenly started barking when I was playing Penumbra for over two hours, without breaks, in silence, alone at home, at night.

Ive heard when cats are close to death or extremely ill they stay a lot closer to their owners than they usually would. It was confirmed for me a couple of years ago when the cat in the picture I posted started sitting with me and my family more than she ever did and would sit on our laps which she had never done before. Then a week later we found her unconscious in the living room and the vet said she had kidney issues as well and she had to be put down. I remember being shocked because she was only 14 and our previous cat lived until she was 19.

He was a pretty affectionate cat in general. Very laid back character, but kind of bossy when he was hungry.
You call him over to be petted he was usually game for it. He loved attention but didnt constantly beg for it. He had a certain routine to things.
He put up with change and strangers pretty well. Even acted calm around babies and toddlers. Wasnt aggressive or anything at all. He liked to playfight and poke his head through doors. Even in his last month or so he would still play a little. He must have been trying so hard to hide his sickness and just have a happy normal end to his life.

On that day it was different though. On that day he was in my room waiting for me instead of chilling out in the hallway napping like usual, (usually I'd go visit him and pet him for a bit and then go to my room and do stuff). It was very deliberate and odd and thats how I knew it was time for him to go to the vet, and I knew exactly what the vet was going to say.

Despite being the runt of the litter he outlived them all though. (My nan had his sisters. They only lived till about 12 or so)

You would never find another cat like him. He was very intelligent as far as cats go. Thats for sure. He truly was a cut above the rest.

This is my doggo. She's 16 years old.
She was extremely sick this week, and she was going to be put down yesterday or the day before. 5 days in the vet, antibiotics, and saline and she's right again.

I made a box fort in my room for her, but normally she will sleep under my desk at my feet on some pillows.
