>Atelier Sophie & Nights of Azure will include all additional DLC for free on Steam, as well as a 20% discount when purchased together! ~

Looks like Koei Tecmo is learning. I thought they were doing a bad marketing by releasing both game in the same day, but now they are fine.

Thanks for beta testing sonyggers.

But I thought that Nights of Azure was fairly terrible.

it's a mediocre ps2 game with pretty awful writing

but god damn the designs and aesthetic are great at times

Is Atelier Sophie considered a good game in the series? I haven't played any of them before.

Does it have a strict timelimit? It looks comfy.

Steam users have no standard

>game clearly made it's money on consoles to guarantee a sequel
???

>Looks like Koei Tecmo is learning.

Eh, the jury's still out on that one. Let's see if these ports actually run decently before we break out the party favors.

>Is Atelier Sophie considered a good game in the series

no but at least its not as bad as the latest one

Yes, Sophie is really good. Sophie herself is cute as hell.

It's meh. Play Rorona plus instead. Sophie doesn't have a time limit.

By looking at those aliased to hell screenshots, I guess they didn't hire Durante after all...

God fucking DAMNIT

He's gonna do it FOR FREE anyway.

I hope they don't have denuvo, I'd like to try both of them.

>Koei Tecmo is learning
I might say that, especially since they're getting Durante to help with these ports, but the trailers showed Playstation button prompts which means the trailers STILL aren't showing any footage of the PC versions of these games. That said, its possible that this is just Gust showing that its better at making ports than KT itself.

The free DLC and bonus content is pretty rad though.

Some people liked it, some didnt. It has no time limit and is very laid back. Its not as good as previous games but the crafting is still fun, I also liked the cast but then again, some people did not.

I went looking for Nights of Azure DLC the other day and there wasn't shit.
Not a damn thing.

they could have ps buttons for the pc version.

Before
>lmao weeb trash
After
>pc wins again!

Evrytiem

>things I personally never said
Sup Forums is one person

Yes we won, that doesn't stop the games being still trash though.

eh i'll give it a pirate

It's fine for what it is. I don't think there's anything I found really objectionable besides an occasionally sketchy translation in the item descriptions. It's doing more with what it has to work with than projects with budgets that dwarf it.

When is Shallie plus coming out?

wait

MY ATELIER IS COMING TO STEAMU?

fuck, I get to ditch my fucking vita and keep all my anime and weeb games on the same hard drive

Yeah, but it's not the same having the source code and all the tools and working with the japs than having fucking nothing and working by himself.

He still delivers shit in like in 1 day, what's the problem?

>363562789
Come one, read it again, it can't be that hard >363562727

Atelier peaked at Totori, stayed good until Ayesha, then went to shit starting from Escha&Logy

>weeb lesbians on steam

GABE DON'T DO THIS

Yeah there's no problem, unless you are him or something LOL.

>peaked at Totori

You mean Meruru.

>Lesbian animu rpg

I hope there's some lewd handholding

>but at least its not as bad as the latest one
Hold the fuck on. Firis is even worse than Sophie? How?

It's already too late.

i've never played any of these but if they have a demo i'll give them a try. Lesbian alchemy sounds okay.

>20% discount for purchasing together!

I guess that just means that they put them in one of those Package Deals that are getting more popular on Steam. They give a bonus discount when you buy it or do the "Complete Your Collection" thing.

I ended up enjoying NoA despite its flaws, but I don't know if I can justify double dipping on it. Especially when the second one is around the corner and might also end up on PC later.

It was supposedly a buggy mess on release. Also the delay on NoA2 suspiciously came around the time Firis got lit the fuck up by user reviews in Japan so maybe Gust is actually going to try some quality control this time around.

Too late indeed

>I ended up enjoying NoA despite its flaws

mind telling why you enjoyed it and what it's flaws are?

I want to make my mind up about whether to buy it

Only thing i could find pertaining to NoA DLC. It's the GUST mascot character.

...

o-oh my! that lesbian has some big knockers!

Wasn't she confirmed dead in Neptunia?

I'd say its biggest flaw is that it's simply a game beyond what Gust is capable of. It has a lot of good ideas for combat and story, but comes up a bit short in those areas. It needed a bit more depth to Arnice's moveset and some more challenging encounters since it can be a bit mindless at times.

I did end up enjoying the cast and the Servans are charming enough. Soundtrack is top tier and the art design is pretty good. Arnice probably carried the game a bit for me though.

It gets repetitive and boring pretty quickly.

I can't get over how the entirety of her hair is just a solid mass that doesn't have any sort of physics tied to it, it looks super bad when she bends her neck.

For some reason the lack of physics for clothing and hair never bothered me, but the fact Arnice was primarily a lefty bugged me. I have no idea why that came off as so strange to me.

NoA is alright, but a tad too short and piss easy. You can go through the whole game with your basic combo as long as you upgrade your blade. Music and art direction are gorgeous and Arnice makes an alright MC. The explicit yuri angle is somewhat amusing too.
