Try to play Mario Kart 7 online

>try to play Mario Kart 7 online
>every race is on this boring piece of shit track or one of the Rainbow Roads

Thanks OP, ill go play mk7 now

>Mario Kart 7
There's your first problem.

The only kart racers worth playing are CTR and MKDS. All else need not apply.

Thing is that at least half the people playing are japs that are casual as fuck. I don't know why they like all the boring shit easy tracks like this and Daisy Hills. If MKDS still had working online to the same standard as 7, they'd probably pick the easiest shit like Figure-8 circuit and Yoshi Falls all day.

HD CTR when?

lol remember the times when the Wuhu island skip was unpatched and fucking everyone only voted that map

>it's Maple Treeway

>Tfw your vote for Waluigi Pinball wins out over all those Rainbow Roads

Sounds like you need a guide to git gud, OP

I'm glad that RR are among my favorite stages

>Mario Kart 7

I got that for free with the 3DS and still wound up deleting that shit.

Does the character have any weight or anything that affects speed/handling?

How does it feel to have shit taste?

i almost like MK7 better than 8 to be honest

That's a loaded question.

Think the only memorable tracks in that game were DK Jungle, Wario's Shipyard, and the music track.

>people cry about snaking being op and too hard
>better remove mini turbos!

It has a great line up of retro tracks, but the originals are all mostly forgettable and not entirely interesting with the exception of the DK one maybe.

The playable roster's kinda shitty in its own different way than 8.

So I guess I like both for their own reasons.

I wouldn't know - tell me what it's like, seeing as you have firsthand knowledge.

>wanting to keep the FUCK YOU horde behind you is "sadistic"
Okay son.

I legitimately think it'll happen after N. Sane Trilogy.

The trilogy is the testing grounds for how much Crash sells nowadays. Assuming it sells well, I fully expect Sony and Vicarious Visions to put out a HD CTR a year or so later, to stall for time and make a few quick extra bucks while they develop a new Crash platformer in the same engine as the Trilogy.

Does MK7 have some sort of track randomizer like MK8?

I think it does have the same vote system

I hope Coconut Mall comes back in MKSwitch

>tfw everyone is shit at this game and I get first in EVERY. GODDAMN. RACE.

Got boring after hitting around 25,000 VR. Sold my 3DS. No regrets.

In 7 you can pick any track you want (or none) and it will randomly pick the track from all the player suggestions. In 8 each player chooses a track from a set of 3 that the game offers (or random) and then it picks randomly from all the player's choices.

After playing 8 I thought it was a shit system but after playing more of 7 I can say it's infinitely better than 7 where 90% of races are 1 of a about 5 tracks.

>hit someone with a Star
>reverse into them to hit them again
>drive off hitting them a third time
Anyone else do this?

Yep. The other one I love:

>stay in first, but keep second place within an arms reach
>someone blue shells
>just brake slightly and let second place pass you
>he gets blue shelled and I continue on in first

The best part about Mario Kart 7 Sup Forumseekends.

When does the blue shell decide who to hit? Because you can be in first place when it's thrown but coast down to second and not be targeted.

>notice blue shell coming and stop
>2nd place stops as well
>we keep trying to reverse to make the other person 1st
>3rd place zooms past us while we both explode
That was fucking hilarious!

>playing first time with Sup Forums
>some nigga does this to me
