I was saying this when I played the Japanese version when it came out but you lot didn't give a shit because it wasn't a fighter like Xenoverse 2.

It's Z Goku that fuses with Broly so it's probably not on Beerus's level. Would wreck Vegito's shit though.

There were a lot of questionable decisions with the roster.

So I'm at the tournament now. Is Level 50 too high for this shit? I'm killing most of the random characters in one or two hits because my whole team is Power-Type except for one Alien rando.

Where are some good speed and tech types and I can get? I'm tired of all of my enemies getting 4-5 actions to my one.

The OC fixation was fucking bizarre. Literally nobody asked for them, yet there's like a thousand and they seem to have gotten in over multiple actual DB characters people wanted.

I tried it, it was a slog getting through random battles before getting more characters to fuse. Deleted it and got 7th Dragon instead

Just beat Hercule today actually. Im going to do the post game quests and recruit the characters I am missing.

The real question is...

Who is the best character in the game that isn't from the db universe?

I want to start VII cause I just hacked my 3DS but with DQVIII right around the corner I'm worried I'll start it and then drop it for DQVIII

It's very long and DQ8 is better, I already beat 8 on PS2 so if you didn't play it before play 8 first but not to say 7 is horrible or anything it's quite good but a bit easy.

Ok, well I played 8 up until that moon guy when I was a kid. Had to keep my PS2 on cause I had no memory card and one day my dad turned the system off since he thought I just "left it on."

Haven't touched it again since.

Started it earlier this week. Only on the 3rd level/plane (just after learning how to recruit from Master Roshi)

I honestly thought it would be more open ended in terms of character recruitment and team building. Like perhaps I would do a side quest, or find a hidden rift to unlock a battle with a certain Story Character and get them on my team.

Right now its just MC, Goten, Son Goku, Kid Trunks and Pan.

I can appreciate the "group of kids going on an adventure" theme. But eventually I want to play as characters I actually like.

I've also been doing all of the "special" world battles- the ones that usually consist of a Story character and are 5-10 levels above the zone. Thought these would unlock new party members. All it has done is over-leveled me and given me the option to learn sub-par abilities my team already has.

Overall the game is good. If it continues along is current path it will remain a 7/10 for me. Hoping it will get better tho.

This actually happens a bunch, just not until you reach a certain portion of the game when your little 3ds gets an upgrade.

The game essentially wants to tell you its story, and right before the final boss opens everything up to you. Those world boss fights do let you recruit characters, but you have to unlock them for recruitment first by doing their side quest.

How many Zone/levels are there? I might just push through the story, given I am over-leveled. Then go back to doing sidequest/recruitment/completion once the game opens up to me.

So far the zones are pretty short it seems.

read the manga, it's fucking great.

there was also a seperate story released about the backstory of hisoka, it's amazing.

me too m8, xenoverse is alright but I wish the online wasn't as fucked.
