I'm playing wiiu games and I just saw this.
Can someone explain to me, what the fuck, this shit is?
I know for sure it's not mario, so what the hell is it?
By the end I wasn't even paying attention, I was just holding forward and texting, is this what mario has become?
I'm playing wiiu games and I just saw this
nintendo famous level design: nobody gives a fuck when the games are so easy
>is this what mario has become?
but i thought you said it's not mario
Obviously it's not mario, but it still has has mario in the tittle, which is why I pose the question.
what are you complaining about? the "slide" level of SM3DW? Every game has something of the sort, despite 3D Worlds being a fucking line, the fun is suppose to be in all 4 players controlling at the same time
> the fun is suppose to be in all 4 players controlling at the same time
Nintendrones don't have any friends user, that makes no sense. All you're telling me is nobody had fun with this level, and probably this game.
too much fleedom confuses playels prease understandu
I had to do this stupid level again because bowsers castle was locked by stars, I realized it's impossible to die, the enemies don't hurt you, bumping into land doesn't hurt you, it's maximum level casual bullshit.
I've played through the game 2 times though, by myself and with my 3 cousins, had fun both times but sadly level design suffered due to focus on multiplayer, the Mario Kart level in 3DWorld is better than the Plessy levels anyways.
this is a shitpost thread who am I kidding
It's a game made for little kids
How the fuck don't you have enough stars to open the castle?
You ARE collecting all the stars right? Its the only slightly challenging thing and the only way to unlock the special worlds that border on slight challenge
Also cat suit is broken as fuck
>can straight sprint up walls, cuts level times by like half
>spam claws to never be in any sort of danger while you sprint through the level
Who the fuck thought this was a good idea?
No, I was sprinting through the levels because they were boring, collecting garbage has never been mandatory in mario except 64 and sunshine both of which are closer to puzzle games.
Well I got bad news pal, your not unlocking the secret worlds with the slightly challenging stuff then
This was by far the shittiest bowser fight I have ever had, all I had to do was spam claws.
SM64 was 100% about collecting garbage.
If I have to grind start to get levels I simply am not going to do it. Hell it's not even secret worlds at that point, it's just grinding challenge maps, secret worlds need to involve some sort of secret ritual to unlock.
I said that, read the second half of that sentence.
Honestly I'd drop that shit then desu. Finding all the green stars and unlocking the special worlds was the only remotely fun/challenging part of the game.
Give DKC:Tropical Freeze a shot. Its maybe slightly easier than DKC on the SNES but its a lot of fun
Alright I'll give DKC a try. Is nsmbu any good? Or is it also multiplayer pushing casual garbage.
>he didn't just use the gamepad to tap them back
Laughingmarios.jpg
>That car still didn't get into Mario Kart 8
It better get in with the switch announcement
You misspelled every 3D Mario up to and including 3D Land.
I honestly don't remember. I did enjoy it more than 3D World, and the special item (Propeller Mushroom) isn't as OP. I'd say give it a shot, if anything I remember it being better balanced around single player
>secret worlds SLIGHTLY challengling
> SLIGHTLY
Maybe I am not good at J&R games, because I think Kaizo games are way to absurd in their difficulty. But by no means user, you can tell me crown level is just SLIGHTLY difficult.
Oh and if oyu don't like NSMBU as much try the Luigi version. The levels are shorts and you only get 100s but I've heard its much more challenging than vanilla, I just never got to play it.
Honestly I thought all of World Crown was easy except for the Mario level (which I agree was hard). That said I was referring to the special worlds as a whole (Since there are like 4 worlds worth of remixed levels)
Its hard to recommend someone drop 10-15hrs on a game they aren't enjoying for ONE hard level.
I like the camera and controls of 3D World, but the levels were pretty short and bare-bones.
>a fucking iphone MINIGAME
>Play childrens games
>Wtf why is it easy
Over the years, Nintendo has been making efforts to lower the skill ceiling in their games.
SMB - Cheep Cheep jumping stage
SML - The submarine level.
Yoshi's Island - Monkey Land
SM64 - Tiny Huge Island
Paper Mario - The toy level
Galaxy - Rolling ball level
SM3DW - OP level.
Every Mario game has one level mid-way through that is awkwardly easy to give the player a breather.
What's Sunshine's?
I probably wouldn't mind gathering stars for the challenges if they weren't all retarded puzzleshit like this
Nintendo games definitely have bad pacing.
I don't know. I never got to really play Sunshine past the first or second of the FLUDDless secret stages.
We had a garage sale and my sister put up her Gamecube. I stashed Fire Emblem and Twilight Princess so I figured there should be at least one good game for whoever got the Gamecube to accompany BRATZ.
>people JUST finding out Nintendo exclusives are trash
Seriously? And people think the Switch will be good?
nah if he doesn´t like it he should drop it. I just refered to the easy part.
But yeah overall the specials were easy, 3D land had the real killers. But I´ve never played Galaxy1/2 or sunshine.
The first worlds of 3D world are really easy but after Castle world it gets more challenging
Given that now they're emulatable on PC, I guess unbiased people are realizing that they're only good becuase they were exclusive
>Nintendrones don't have any friends
They're the only drones that DO have friends though.
