What went wrong?
Payday 1 = GOD Tier, Payday 2 = Shit

I don't know, I liked it. What DID go wrong? A lot of the DLC is dog shit and some weapons are stupid like flamethrowers and miniguns but you don't have to use them.
Payday 2 was a direct upgrade I dunno what you're on about OP. They pretty much ported over all the Payday 1 maps as well.
Multiplayer coop fps without map editor is guaranteed to fail
Everything went well until Crimefest 2.
Perkele.
it just seems like a different game...
I loved payday 1, it was simple and fun! All the heists in 2 seem kind of lame, and complicated...
I just remember having so much fun in 1, but 2 was just boring... All guns feel the same, every one takes armor/ninja run...
Payday 1 was more based on classes, 2 you could choose your own perks/talents mix & match, everyone chooses the same 2-3 skill lines...
make fun of him all you want, but he gets a lot more anime/video game pussy than all of you combined
Maybe three years ago you would have been right.
Wave defense is a fucking boring style of game in every instance, but the stealth is shitty and boring as fuck.
I don't know why no game can get heists right.
>Careful planning
>Precise execution
>In and out as fast as possible
It's like these fuckers never watched Heat.
Yep, they made everything so fucking complicated in 2, couldn't even pick the map you wanted to play at your preferred difficulty, had to sit there watching a map hoping it would pop up so you could play it. Who the fuck thought that was an improvement?
i loved the heat mission in payday, running down gunning down all the unarmored coppers
>they've got hostages!
>whatev, sends ALL THE UNITS!
So funny to see cops freeing a hostage and said hostage being gunned down by other cops.
The jewel heist in Payday 1 was like that. It was possible to fully stealth it until the very end at which point you were on your way to the choppa anyway.
All the disgusting DLC. Sup Forums eats that shit up though so maybe a waste of time making this thread
...
You can just buy the contract you want.
Everything is equally viable on OVK and below though so I don't get what you're getting your panties in a bunch about vOv. People will always optimize.
Who is best boy, /v?
Wolf all the way.
The game's good now.
They got rid of the bad stuff from that once Starbreeze was booted off the team. All new boxes can be opened for free.
>Payday 1 was more based on classes
It was less based on classes. Any max level player would have every skill from every tree active. You didn't pick a class and get the bonuses from it, you just got to pick which tree you wanted to invest in first
i don't know who he is either, but he gets a lot of anime pussy. stop being jealous and go back to your 3D whale
Money is soaked with bacteria. Don't fucking shove that shit in your mouth.
*sniff*
>jealous of random person that push money in his mouth
reach any further and you could give me a rusty trombone
Hoxton in PD:TH, Chains in PD2.
I wish they'd remake Mercy Hospital just for Code Silver 2017
youtube.com
doesn't matter. he gets all the anime pussy and you don't
you're jealousy is showing. back to your 3D whale while he gets all the anime pussy he wants and they give it to him willingly
where do you think you are? Do you think youre 'le triggering' anyone here?
Nobody cares about your selfies and hentai
Someone please explain to me why there aren't any heat street style heists in pd2. I played 2 first and my mind was blown by the concept of a map where you're crossing large distances without having to toss around bags for 3 minutes. Like every heist is essentially go to place and drill for 5 minutes, a little variety wouldn't hurt.
I guess slaughterhouse counts, sort of, but it's not nearly as engaging. And Hoxton breakout day 1 was pretty nice. Would have been better without the car.
Heat Street was the worst heist
Maybe they'll get around to it once they've ported the more popular heists. If they're going to port them.
Diamond Heist when?
You get to listen to Matt being roasted alive though.
>I don't know why no game can get heists right.

The average gamer is too stupid for such a game.
God bored with it after using that hack to get everything for free.
I would say the pool repair one is worse, but forget quality. I'm talking diversity. It's possible for heists to be more than just area->drill->area->loot. Even doing some levelution style bullshit would make it interesting. Imagine a heist where you demolish a crane in order to gain access to a super ultra secure government building, and then you have to quickly grab the objective in the middle of a labyrinthine test area, get out, and then make your escape. All these things have been done before, but always with a drill gate, or a hacking sequence. Why not just have some purely balls to the walls gotta go fast action movie heists?
Because everyone would stop playing the older, shittier heists
