What are the best GBA games?
I'm uploading a bunch of roms to my PSP for a long flight I'm taking in a few days. I have a 4 hour layover and about 16 hours total flying so I don't wanna get bored.

Dbz buu's fury
Mario&Luigi superstar saga
Castlevania, all three if them
Ninja Five-O
Astro Boy Omega Factor (has massive slowdown on PSP though)
wario land 4
the fire emblem games
why do you need "a bunch"? most of adventure/rpg games are longer than 20h.
Minish Cap
Not him, but 16 hours straight the same game can be a bit much though. I usually bring 1 game, 1 anime, 1 book.
Shining Souls 2
Riviera the Promised Land
Harvest Moon - Friends of Mineral Town
Boktai Series (1 is Metal Gear Ghost Babel, 2 and 3 are action RPGs)
Final Fantasy 1&2
Final Fantasy 5
Warioware
Golden Sun 1+2
Megaman Zero Series
Megaman Battle network series
Castlevenia
Rhythm Tengoku, fan translated
Mother 3
Tomato Adventure is great if you know Japanese
Yggdra Union
Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission
I also second Castlevania, Mega Man Zero, Wario Land, Final Fantasy 5, and pretty much everything else stated. The GBA had a lot of great games.
I'm not even joking.
Whats the best version of Riviera?
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Sonic Advance 1 / 2
Pokemon FireRed / LeafGreen
Pokemon Emerald
Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire
Columns Crown
Metroid Zero Mission
Just off the top of my head, basically everything posted so far is good.
Marche did nothing wrong
advance wars 1 and/or 2
any of the pokemons really
mario & luigi superstar saga
megaman battlenetwork 3, 2, and 6 in that order
Pic fucking related
DBZ Legacy of Goku 2
Metroid Fusion
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
Golden Sun
Advance Wars
Fire Emblem
Metroid Fusion
Zelda: Minish Cap
Warioland 4
then if you want to do GB/c games, Wariolands 2 & 3.
You should seriously play some Warioland.
>PSP
Why play GBA when you can play SNES
SNES Roms are like 2mb each
GBA emulation on PSP is somehow miles ahead of SNES emulation
SNES is flawless on my Psp 3000
>Inb4 some shit about being cycle accurate
It really, really varies from game to game. Lower end games like Wild Guns and F-Zero run without problem but once you get into games that use anything fancier than basic Mode 7 there's going to be massive slowdown.
FFTA
Snes is a bit shady on my psp go.
Not enough to complain about though. Sometimes the sound is absolute trash however.
Mah nigga. Just downloaded the rom for this yesterday. Still fun as fuck but I want to find my old DS and play the real thing.
no it's not.
I have one, only works "well" with frame-skipping
List of games I played with zero issues
Super Mario world
Yoshi island
Super metroid
Kirby 3
Chrono trigger
Megaman X
on SNES9X? which version?
Im using snes9xTYL 0.4.2.
Kirby 3 runs like dirt.
Sonic advance series
Mother 3
Dbz buu's fury
pokemon emerald
Pokemon leaf green
Circle of the Moon
>people recommending any castlevania over aria of sorrow

What is this thread
Camelot games donĀ“t work well on the psp.
Emulating the GBA LttP port is kind of pointless when the SNES version is one of the few SNES games that runs with no problem at all on PSP.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
>people recommending any castlevania over aria of sorrow
People are recommending all three because they're all pretty great games.
>People recommending any final fantasy over VI
VI is probably best experienced on SNES and the GBA translation of V is a real treat.
>No mention of a link to the past yet
Like that other user said, the SNES version works great on psp
Mario Tennis Power Tour. I'm not even joking.
Weren't the Golden Sun games fixed with gpSP-J?
