that's easy. /vr/-tan works in a video store, and a Magic macguffin goes off on Halloween, causing a the monsters from the horror movie section to escape and terrorize the town. Then he and the girl have to kick all their asses and beat the mad scientist/wizard/demon responsible, and they fall in love. Bam, good movie.

well kudos to hollowood for coming up with ideas that arent just rehashing the exact same shit franchises over and over, now they get to any new franchises get added to their repertoire.

Asteroids; game is way to simple to build a story that isnt going to be cringe loaded
Dark void; wasent even that good or memorable
Dead Island: just like video games, even zombie movies are overplayed, also the ending for the 1st & 2nd was trash cliffhanger shit.
Duke Nukem; can only envision this being some movie like Postal was, shit. The Duke brand has been dead since forever. Was confirmed when they released the minimal effort 3D remake WITH THE ORIGINAL TRASH ENGINE INSTEAD OF MAKING IT WITH DUKE NUKEM FOREVER ENGINE.
Deus Ex; will look cool visually but putting the deus ex series into a movie where you have no open endedness or choices at all makes this into another action movie.
Half Life; starting movie franchises based on incomplete franchises, lmfao.
