It's like you're playing the game with a corrupter almost, and the game gets more and more corrupted as you progress. By the time I got to the part where James finds out what happened to his wife, there were no textures, no sound, no music. Did the devs somehow just patch the original Xbox version to run un-emulated with "impovements"?

It's confirmed most of the problems were never fixed, because they simply don't have the original source code, just an old shitty version of it that they fixed up as best they could. A few later updates fixed some issues but being able to see off the map and such just has to do with the way they did the fog in the HD ver

I played both PS2 and PS3 versions of SH2 and by the time I got to the HD one it looked just as good.

Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" fix works as a no-cd crack as well, and is included in the pack.
In case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.
If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.
Never trust Steam weebs, they have no standards because PC rarely gets good Japanese games. A game considered shit by console weebs is a 10/10 masterpiece to them.
I bought Neptunia RB1 on sale (on PSN) and enjoyed it so much I bought the rest (on sale). $5 wasn't a big investment.

Little did I fucking know it is only hard because the turn order means jack shit due to the cover/parry system, your characters move to spaces you win automatically putting them in harms way, opening doors is fucking suicide, and there is no revives since one death is game over.
