If you under-act and never put any emphasis in your work, phoning in every line you're put into, it's easy to write it all off as "Subtle" or "Realistic". No, it doesn't matter that the original character is supposed to be in a state of peril or devastated at the events surrounding them, just continue blandly stating your lines rather than truly acting out the characters. Ameriburgers don't know the difference anyways.

The British voice actors sound good because they sound sincere. Zelda's VA is fantastic. Her crying bit sounds really really good and believable unlike the fucking Japanese screaming. The American voice actors sound silly and not serious.

That's because they were holding the show in Japan and streaming it for an English speaking audience, I doubt that's actually in the game. I would bet money they only added it in for that trailer because they knew there would be more English speakers watching than Japs.

In this case yes. Japanese voice acting industry is economically much larger than Western voice acting industry so they naturally produce better talent. Likewise Western live action industry (Hollywood) is economically much larger than Japan's (or any other country's) live action industry so they naturally produce better talent. Voice acting in the West is a bottom of the barrel career. All the good actors are in live action. In Japan voice acting is respected.
