'Will Switch sell more than 1 mil within the first 24 hours of pre-orders?
Switch didn't have the luxury of having their competiton fall flat on their face.
if Nintendo does it, they'll do it the fair way.

It's pretty unlikely.
At a $300 price point they're competing directly with the xbone and ps4.
Even the Wii didn't sell 1 mil in its first day.
How well did the 3DS sell? I'd wager it does almost handheld numbers for the most part but that paid online will hurt.
They won't have a million to sell at launch.
Nintendo loves that artificial rarity bullshit.
400k in its first week.
It's not $300 for everyone. Canada is getting fucked in the ass with the price. Funny thing is, for $280 I can buy a used PS4 from EB/Gamestop, or a brand new slim for $350 that comes with a game.
Why the fuck would anyone pay $400 for a switch console by itself? A pro controller is $90, and the games will be $80 (like WiiU games are) and have almost no price drops. Nintendo isn't being smart with this. They need to eat some of the cost and sell it at a loss to move systems. Nobody is buying this shit when the competition has a massive headstart and a bigger 3rd party library.
Their prices are the only reason the WiiU didn't tank them.
>you can buy a new or used system that's been out for four years cheaper
no shit sherlock
It may if they can supply it.
But that is what Nintendo hardware does usually. Very heavily front loaded.
>1 mil within the first 24 hours of pre-orders
Fudge. Did PS4 really push 1mil? There's no way that happening, especially since nintendo has a habit of short changing distribution.
