Non-Bias Nintendo fans here.
How could you say that was a good conference? Be honest, the only new things we learned was the high pricing and paid online.

I can't think of a nintendo direct that was left me satisfied before this one, so I thought it was mostly good
It was a shit conference. We learned nothing new apart from some "coming soon" tier game announcements and in fact, we only learned bad things.
>300 instead of 250 when I can get a PS4 for 260 right now which already has an established library
>Paid fucking online
>Joy Cons are 80 together and 50 a piece. Pro Controller is fucking 70 bucks
>Paid fucking online
>Absymal Launch Line up
>every game worth getting (SMT V, FE Warriors Xenoblade 2) are all a ways off and are barely in the beginning of development
>Paid fucking online
>Console is being advertised as a handheld yet only last 3 hours
>32 GB internal storage
>No voice chat at launch
>Paid fucking online
Not even false flagging im probably one of the biggest Nintendo fans ever and love my 3DS but it feels like they learned nothing from the Wii U. This console was originally coming out late 2016 but they literally said they delayed it so it could have a better lineup? Are they trying to tell me this list was fucking smaller?
The only thing that worries me is the online cost, it better be cheap. I'll still buy it but, most likely at the end of the year.
To be atleast fair, E3 is like 5 months away.
It ain't like this is ALL it. And if you think it is then you're actually just being crazy.
Judging by the trend of everything about the NX being overpriced, itll be like 15$ a month.
Nintendo has had a pretty terrible track record with E3 conferences lately.
The only thing worth looking forward to is 1-2 other launch titles, but even then I wouldn't hold my breath over it.
I am really annoyed that they didn't spend more time announcing games. Now I have to go digging through social media to see what games were announced backside.
What the fuck do you guys want? They showed a fair bit of games, how does the controller work, the price, release date of Zelda
I ask again, what do you consider to be a good conference if not this?
It's not that though, this is more about them fucking up like they did with the Wii U.
This was their chance to sell the Switch and what did they do? Paid online, $300, some gimmick games and a Wii U Zelda port.
That's literally fucking it
All the new games. You know the shit that matters
For the shit that they're trying to pull that seems about right. If anything it's not even the price that will bother me it's the fact that I'm slowly getting drained for something that I used to be able to just pick up and do for free on their consoles and with the amount of Nintendo games that are made for multiplayer I'd be reminded of this fact nearly every time I put in a game that isn't Zelda.
Nothing, every conference has always been shit.
1 game isnt an established library
>Joy Cons are 80 together and 50 a piece. Pro Controller is fucking 70 bucks

Shit I didn't know about those, that is pretty bad
>15$ a month.
I don't think you understand just how hard this thing is being jewed. 15 would be reasonable. Think 30, they know the autists in /vp/ and smashfags will pay it.
The conference was mediocre. There was some redeemable stuff but I don't get why people expected metroid: f-zero custom robo revengeance
I have seen this posted at least three times. We fucking get it.
>every game worth getting (SMT V, FE Warriors Xenoblade 2) are all a ways off and are barely in the beginning of development
Fuck off. Those are worth getting but if you don't think a new 3D Mario in the style of 64 and Sunshine (though the other ones are still good), No More Heroes, and Splat 2 aren't top notch, then piss off.
Xenoblade 2 and some of the other stuff I need more info before I can really say though that 1 2 thing is not for people here, that's for sure.
I love zelda but i hate the console.
And i will NEVER pay to play online.
I can see that
Average nintendrones would be glad to pay 30$ a month and would see nothing wrong with it
It wasn't bad at all, but knowing everything is so far away doesn't necessarily get me hyped, either. Looks like it'll be worth getting in a year or two, but I'm perfectly happy with my Wii U and Zelda for now. I waited until MK8 to jump on the Wii U boat and ended up with enough games for me to be happy; I'll wait it out with Switch and end up with a similar but better deal, too.
It was ok, NMH3 and SMTV looked interesting.
If they stay as exclusives i might buy the console in a few years, though i hate how the console is like 350€ everywhere i look
I was planning on getting it at first but paid online is retarded so I'm just getting the new Zelda on WiiU instead. The new Mario game looked really bland too.
>for the price of a joycon set you could buy a used 3ds in decent condition off of amazon
>for the price of a joycon and a pro controller you could buy a used WiiU
>for the price of a joycon, a pro controller, a year of paid online, and external storage you could buy a second fucking Switch even get the joycon that comes with it
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING
