The games they showed, but they actually release at launch
Shit, even half the games they showed at launch. 60% of the games they showed didn't have a release date at all. I'm pissed.
Mount&Blade: Bannerlord
Pray 2
Half Life 3
Age of Empires 4: The Great War
Star Wars 1313
Sonic 3CD & Knuckles & Knuckles
The one where you stick one finger in your mouth, and another in your asshole, and when I say 'go' you switch
should of showed way more during the actual presentation. why am i finding out about a new bomberman and mk8+ from Sup Forums?
Megaman/Zero, MH, Elder Scrolls 6, 3DS games.
Cooking Mama S.
I don't get it . What's wrong with the current line-up?
F Zero
Metroid Prime 4/something Metroid along those lines
Full console Pokemon from scratch (not just a port of sun/moon. I don't play pokemon anymore but that would singlehandedly make it a success for most players)
Smash with all previous DLC characters thrown in for free and more released in the year after
Bayonetta 3
N E W I P
Mario Party
60fps, 4k native, 24 hour battery life :)
The launch lineup is
>1, 2, switch, aka wii sports
>Zelda
>Maybe Arms?
That's about it
Pokemon
Monster Hunter
RDR2
Pokemon
Andromeda
Animal Crossing
Battlefield and Call of Duty
and Pokemon
>games
>mattering
You can list anything and Sup Forums will meme arrow
Add monster hunter and gamecube virtual console with online play. Guaranteed will sell like hotcakes.
60fps, 4k are all the games i want.
>Animal crossing switch
I'd fucking instabuy one if nintendo would release the fucking thing.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Smash 4 Deluxe
Bayonetta 1 & 2
Splatoon 2
Zelda
Plus all the other announced launch titles. Clearly Platinum needs the money.
I'm guessing two reasons.
1) They had more content than would fit in an hour but not enough for 90 minutes
2) It'd be suicide to throw around the ludicrous accessory prices in the stream, but they didn't want to only throw out bad news afterwards so they saved new Mario info for the same press release to lighten the blow
How is it different from any other launch line-up?
There's always only 2-3 titles you wanna buy at launch. I'm actually glad it has a Zelda title this time around. It has roughly the same launch line-up as the Wii.
Nothing. Nothing can save the Switch.
Mario Odyssey, but at launch
Metroid Dread
Pokemon Stars
Melee HD
Kirby 25th Anniversary
Paper Mario: Don't Worry, Sticker Star and Color Splash Were Just A Cruel Joke
Bam, console of the century, and that's just first party stuff
Counterpoint.
>Nisa's attempt to port Disgaea 5 results in the console violently combusting, burning down hundreds of homes, resulting in the console being pulled from shelves forever
It's just that Zelda is the only game there and it's also on the wii u anyway (therefore CEMU). Arms might not even be a launch title, and who was looking forward to wii sports? Of course Zelda will still sell the system, but spla2n should have been a launch title as well to make it look a bit more exciting.
its ok for me, I would love a new Starfox, some Etrian oddysey anouncement as well
Smash.
Red Dead Redemption 2
Fallout 4
Pokemon Stars
SSB4, Switch Edition
Zelda HD Collection
Fzero, new bond that isnt shit. Exitebike new game. Rc pro am or ivan iversons offroad. . New IP action adventure ga.e like shovel knight. Lock down sequel to bloodstained exclusive. Zelda maker whDre you design your own dungeons and share them.
Convince Atlus to make SMT V or any company to release a timesink RPG or JRPG.
A mario party and mario kart game to take advantage of the 'party' advertisements they're showing.
A poke'mon stadium that serves as a companion piece and connects to your 3DS version of sun/moon or uses save data from the switch port of it.
Metroid, Megaman, or Castlevania type game, doesn't even need to be them, hell a new IP would be refreshing.
Another IP racing game to add variety,F-Zero.
Animal Crossing, naturally.
Provide support to 3rd party/indie devs to get popular shit like Undertale and Stardew Valley on the Switch. Sup Forums wouldn't care, but the kids who are going to get it are going to.
A strong library available from the Nintendo eShop, where all the games are available immediately for it for classic games rather than the split releases they've done for WiiU and 3DS.
On a side note, get a few games released that utilize the new3DS capabilities too to perhaps bolster handheld sales in case Switch starts out at a loss.
The Switch isn't going to be an immediate economic success unless Zeldafags are really that numerous. March is a pretty odd time for release of a console, they could clearly have waited until May/June to get another mainline game to go at launch or just hold off until the 2017 holiday season. With its portability, it would make a good purchase as summer break starts for the

>Name a lineup of games that could save the Switch.
Here's the thing. Nothing can save the Switch. The Switch itself is a terrible idea.
I think a lot of people were looking forward to Wii Sports but not because the game itself seemed super fun, it just seemed neat to be able to play them with motion. Also it came with the console. Does 1 2 Switch come with it?
>Does 1 2 Switch come with it?
I'm pretty sure they said that 1-2-Switch comes with the console.
Then again, I was sure they said that Splatoon 2 was a launch title, but apparently it's releasing sometime in the summer? So I'd look up the official website to verify if 1-2 is packaged with the system. It really should be, but Nintendo has made some odd choices in the past.
A full Pokemon title. Normies love Pokeman.
SMT V, maybe
Though that would be my personal reason to buy the console.
Go full nostalgia and remake Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time. Not just an HD release but a full remake like FF7 is getting. On top of that, a mainline Pokémon game and you're done.
Mario on release date
New entry for Pikmin, F-Zero, and Metroid
Paper Mario (A good one).
Disgaea 6 (Disgaeafags will actually by a console for one game)
Smash Bros Melee HD, with every character introduced since thrown in.
Full-Length Pokemon Game. Not just a third version or re-release.
Warioware using the ice cubes
Starfox that sticks to the tried and true "shoot things until the die, no furdrama" formula.
A game for everyone in Smash who doesn't fall into an above category, or already in a game announced.
>New entry for F-Zero
hold onto your ass, look what they snuck into the end of the presentation
I've heard someone mention that was some other franchise from the Wii/Wii U years, not F-Zero. I don't recall the name because it didn't interest me, but go ahead and dig a bit to see if you can fine out.
i think i would actually kill myself if this turned out to be some literal who franchise instead of f-zero
it's been 13 fucking years since the masterpiece that was GX
It's a fast racing neo port called something like Fast Racing RMX Sorry user
>Eternal Darkness 2
>Resident Evil 2 Remake
>F-Zero
>Blast Corps 2
>that mario 3D at launch
Looks like this is the case.
Pokemon main game
& Smash (not Melee HD)
& Gamecube virtual console with melee and GC adapter support on it too
I'm feeling deep, existential pain right now
If Mario Oddessey were launch it would be a no brainer.
I think they should have just kept switch under wraps a little longer and maybe revealed it at e3 or whatever with the holiday release with zelda, squids, kart and odyssey.
>Star Wars 1313
Fuck I completely forgot about that game, it looked so good
final fantasy tactics 2
>Gamecube virtual console with melee and GC adapter support on it
Fucking hell.
We don't need another GameCube controller for another console, and it doesn't need to be compatible with a whole bunch of games. GameCube games can be played on a normal controller. Just give up on you Melee on GC controller or go back and play it on the GameCube.
Even worse, if Nintendo did bend over backwards for you, you just know that everyone asking would then begin bitching because existing Switch games aren't compatible with the GameCube controller. You know it, because that is exactly what happened when the GameCube controller for the Wii U was released.
>Convince Atlus to make SMT V or any company to release a timesink RPG or JRPG
So.. Just like the SMT game Atlus released they are working on for the Switch and Xenoblade 2?
