How do you rate the levels?
God Tier:

Shit Tier: Colorado
How do you rate the levels?
sapienza and paris are the best
colorado hokkaido pretty good
bangkok marrakesh are meh
looking just at the challenge count for colorado and hokkaido makes me wonder if they phoned it in at the end. 72 challenges compared to 120+ on the others
God Tier:
Hokkaido > Sapienza

>YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tier
Hokkaido
>I BTFO Blood Money purely by existing
Sapienza, Paris
>Shit tier
Marrakesh, Bangkok
>Nigger, what are you doing ?
Colorado
>Just SASO'd Bangkok
It took me 1 hour and 40 minutes and I had to knock out dozens of NPC
my boy
sapienza and hokkaido are the only ones they actually tried with.
the rest are just varying degrees of of remotely playable.
colorado was a decent concept but having to that mask basement shit every fucking time just absolutely killed it.
The only NPCs I had to knock out were the house staff in the hotel room and the two sound guys next to the bathroom.
Season 2 when?
I disagree about the rest but agree on colorado. I just finished another run of it and the basement shit is just tedious. also I feel like it's way too small and the lack of verticality really kills it. There's barely any interesting ways to kill the 4 (!) targets and it just falls flat. I loved all the others except bangkok though which I felt was lacklustre
Daily reminder that if you like Hokkaido the most, then you like linear levels and grew up with an xbox.
Well I knocked out absolutely everyone in in the basement because I used the linen room opportunity for Ken Morgan, then I had to knock out the entire Groud, 1st and 2nd floors to get to Jordan Cross and lure him in Dexy's room while disabling the cameras at the same time
All with the Santa 47 outfit, pic related
I also refused watching a guide on youtube
sapienza and paris are overrated as fuck
theyre sandboxes that 90% of which isnt used in the main mission. its why all the elusive targets are there. and the lab part of sapienza is fucking garbage
colorado bangkok and hokkaido are the real top three maps because all of it is used smartly.
I wish they didn't do the non-human objective shit (tornado shelter, virus destruction) because it really takes the fun out of it to have to have some mandatory objective that's always static and only has a few ways to be finished
glad they only do it twice
exactly. i figured they'd learn after that unskippable cutscene in flat line in blood money but that tornado thing makes replaying colorado a pain.
virus is not as bad because youre still playing, but its not a kill really despite having a few ways to do it (very few). even if it was a person in that room instead, that whole area sucks.
while im at it, the bed ridden dude in hokkaido is a shit target. theres like 50 different medical apparatuses you can fuck with it but it all feels like youre doing the same thing
God Tier: Sapienza
High Tier: Hokkaido, Colorado, Bangkok
"Alright" Tier: Paris, Marrakesh
Colorado is my favourite out of the "High Tier". Never understand why it's overlooked.
Because only 50% of the map is ever used
the only time I actually went through the orchard for example was for the 5th level of the escalation challenge
The best ways to kill the targets are all located between the house and the slurry pit, even if you're doing SASO
>because I used the linen room opportunity for Ken Morgan
>SA/SO
Nigger what the fuck ARE YOU DOING?
Literally all you had to do was poison the dish he eats.
elusive target in an hour, right?
>linen room opportunity for Ken Morgan
only reason you need to do that is if you're doing fiberwire only for anything else Ken is one of the easiest targets
You can unlock Tactical Gear and Winter Suit today
Does the new ET drop today? I'm ready for my Winter Suit, got 4/4 so far.
~1 hour to go.
From what I've played so far
Sapienza > Bangkok > Paris > Colorado > Marrakesh
Hey, as long as it works...
youtube.com
NPC wallhacking explained.
I played Contracts for the first time, then replayed Blood Money
Niggas, Contracts is way better. What the fuck was Blood Money's problem?
>USA USA USA
>every level's disguises are just "guards in suits and sunglasses"
>disguises are in like, 16 bit colors or some shit. check out the splotch on the US Marine disguise in Amendment XXV. disguise suits look noticeably shittier than 47's suit
>every dude is bald or has widow's peak
>every lady is either obese or mega bimbo
>everyone speaks in the most muffled ass voice
>there's like 12 guns total
>silverballer has no fucking accuracy
>47 doesn't turn his head with the camera or twist his body with the camera while moving, and his suit looks like rigid cardboard
>controls were better in contracts
>silverballer has no accuracy
Nigger you what? Have you even tried putting a scope on it? It becomes a fucking sniper rifle
I went with a red dot sight for rule of cool, as well as other +accuracy mods. Does the scope magically make the bullets fly straighter or what? It was lackluster with the RDS. I even had the long slide for enhanced precision, even though it can't be used with a silencer.
paris yes, sapienza not
sapienza is good af for contracts
from my experience the scope just makes the bullet go straight
God tier: Paris > Sapienza(underground sucks ass)
Great tier: Bangkok > Hokkaido
Okay tier: Marrakesh > Colorado
I just tried in A New Life, it took three shots at the head to hit the garbageman at the truck from the ICA box, and no hits against the further lady trimming her plants even when aiming for center mass.
>these conditions
i have really bad feeling
Are you using it with the best silencer and shit as well?
Going to do my first ET this week since I got the game in the Steam sale. Do these count towards challenges etc?
no explosives? good fuck off with your rubber duck,FE shit
So how much of the game is out now? Like is a whole "season" out or whatever? When should I pick it up, I've been waiting.
Yeah max, I tried with Silencer 2 and magnum, then longslide and low-velocity.
you can kill him only with accidents
Does that mean you HAVE to kill by either a fall accident or a drowning accident?
I guess I was wrong then. But to be honest it was a long time ago I played BM since I've done most of it.
16 hours left for the new elusive target
nah, every accident aside from explosion
hokkaido is the 2nd worst stage
colorado is literally meme level with the worst design/worst premise
best is paris and sapienza
>Objectives: (1) Eliminate Richard M. Foreman and (2) Retrieve Documents.
>Special Contract Conditions: Eliminate the target with a non-explosion accident.
Marakesh is the worst. and it isn't even the level itself, is the fact that in other levels, you can about 17 out of the 20 mastery just by doing different type of assassinations on the targets. whereas in Marakash you get like 9/20 from that, and the rest of the challenges are just random shit that have nothing to do with the objectives.
>hokkaido is the 2nd worst stage
how to spot a fag in 1 step
so what do I do now?
>declares best/ worst level from shitty tutorial hold your hand bullshit that is the worst aspect of hitman follow a fucking glowing marker no brain required bullshit
do every featured contract
Doesn't look like getting mastery takes long either way.
>no explosion allowed
IOI is fully aware of the Breaching Charge Fire Extinguisher shit. Can't wait to see how people that have been relying on that as a crutch this entire time will fare.
I forgot the laser sight since I hate it, but it does say it adds precision. It's got respectable accuracy at twice a room's length I'll have to admit.
now do SA/SO fiberwire on all levels
the worst part is the 2 objectives bullshit because if you complete even 1 youre locked out
which is why it hink i failed one elusive, picked up the diamonds and didnt know it would immediately lock your game and force you to finish that run or fail
>featured contracts
But those tend to be just boring and no unlockables
do elusive targets until season 2
>100% everything
>including the escalations
The only shit I didn't bother with, escalations are either boring or bullshit and plain just not fun.
contracts featured after contracts mode overhaul are pretty fun to do
no excuse
huh?
is the gameplay (not the cool little details) the actual gameplay good ?
it always looks a but "floaty" to me, like there's no weight to agent 47 or anything in the world, runs around like he's on ice and all that. Correct me if i'm wrong.
also
is it long if you dont want to delve into every little tiny detail ? like you just go through at a normal pace and do a few different kill styles ?
Explain, I never used those
he couldn't even bother making a new account to start fresh?
breaching charge will set off a small explosive but not large enough to kill a person anymore but big enough to set off a FE which will count as an accident
I'm also top 100 on all main missions, but it was a while ago I checked so I might not be top 100 anymore
>SA/SO fibre wire only on all levels
>like I already havent done that except for Soders since you can't
I just wanted to kill myself with the kotti esc. and the colorado stalker one. I agree that escalations are just tedious and shit, but I just had the urge to finish them
>grab some fire extinguisher
>go to the target
>put FE in front of him
>hide somewhere
>shoot
>accident
it's easy mode
did you listen to what he said
Paris > Hokkaido > Colorado = Sapienza = marrakesh > hotel
>paris
>map that is so script heavy it's fucking awful
>anywhere near top
get the fuck off my lawn
i don't bother listening to walkthrough videos, it's the video that i care about.
does it start with "hey guys"?
Hokkaido > Paris > Sapienza > Bangkok > Marrakesh > Colorado
youtube.com
This should explain it
>drop 1 charge anywhere if you are using a suit, if you have a guard disguise then it doesnt matter
>find explosive canister such as FE or propane flash
>run up to target
>browse inventory
>press the drop key on the breach charge
>explosive canister and breach charge will drop at the same time
>run away a few steps
>detonate
>walk away with free accident kill which doesnt count towards body found or noticed kill
honestly all levels feel the same. the ONLY time i felt a bit of atmosphere is the Christmas version of Paris and that was more because of some very comfy lighting in some of the rooms.
Blood Money feels floaty to me, dawg. Especially with those ragdolls.
Lengthwise, if you turn off the handholding shit, you could spend an hour and a half walking around the level looking for openings. Then spend some more time following up on different opportunities you saw. If you're a completionist and want to fill out the checklist of feats, assassinations, and discoveries, you'll get even more time.
i actually didn't like the xmas event. it even had the 2 targets still alive in it which annoyed me a lot
Christmas was downright the shittiest, poor taste on you IMO.
youtube.com
>kill the target in an accident such as falling or drowning
>only an image of don't fucking blow him up
>don't mention electricution or crushing the target
welp, looks like I will be drowning this guy
Alright.
I've had enough.
wait a minute thats not the normal shitty paris one you normally spam. but it is equally as shit
cool, thanks man.
the intel says non-explosive accident
briefing are shit when it comes to info
Going guns blazing after failing many times feels really cathartic.

this is now an elusive target thread
Woah, thanks for the heads up. I'd probably have fucked up exactly the same way.
Man you guys have got to stop using my memes
Updating now. About to try it.
>None of the guards that should be in the area are there
woooow
I do you spend so long making these shit webms?
>is it long if you dont want to delve into every little tiny detail ? like you just go through at a normal pace and do a few different kill styles ?
Are first playthrough a mission usually takes about an hour. So even ignoring all replay potential, you got 6 hours.
But I promise you won't ignore the replay potential. Everyone thinks they will until they play it. As soon as you finish a hit, you'll want to immediately jump right back and try to find other ways to do it.
No hacker start confirmed.
The added challenges to the others over time. Likely will with Colorado and Hokkaido also.
typical terror attack in france, tbqh
ET sits on his ass in the house, 3d printer room
I assume he won't eat anything, but poison would count as an accident for him, right?
you can't fool me Richard
if you don't mind being a save scumming piece of shit and only care about muh cosmetics:
pause the game and disable your internet entirely and it will boot you back to the menu allowing you to restart
No, fuck no. Poison is not an accident. It's just as GOOD as an accident, in that the body won't be found. But notice after they die, it says Poison Kill, not Accident Kill.
poison isn't accident, it just works like one
