Really I think one bad thing is that they probably could've tried to work this into Conan: AoR, but since that MMO is basically dead but kept alive in maintenance mode they realized they needed to issue a NEW BOX, but are trying to capitalize on a fad that's already worn out its welcome.
And Funcom HAVE been around, since Anarchy Online, but they're still sort of on the "who?" tier list of devs.
