does Sup Forums use GOG? Can it compete against Steam?

yeah because its real easy to pirate GOG games

They have wildly different libraries, they're not in competition at all
PC also isn't locked to one service, you can easily use both at the same time.

it's only for nostalgia GOGgle wearing faggots only

The fact that gog is still in business indicates it is a viable alternative or companion to steam. I use neither, 100% piratefag.

They sell modern games.

Anyone who plays vidya on PC (and by "playing vidya on PC" I don't mean playing 3 games for thousands of hours) and isn't a fanboy of one store probably uses them all: Steam, GOG, even Origin and Uplay.

I use mostly Steam but, to be honest, like GOG better. However, all my friends are on Steam, so to play vidya with them or even talk, I need Steam anyway.

Gog is good because of DRM is a bane. Think of it this way: with DRM - if you die, literally no one will play the games in your steam account.

But, with Gog, and without DRM - you can forever obtain the games you have, and pass it on to your friends. I'd take that, over DRM.

Don't get me wrong: GOG has FAR to go. Very far. Just having a workshop is a big advantage Steam has. But, someday, Gog will show the way.

try to buy from it, glad i get some steam bought games now and then.

what do they have do to make it better?

also will game companies take a chance on no drm in the future?
