the Gamecube was wack, but it definitely had a handful of 10/10 games tho

the Wii was trash and was always underwhelming in every aspect when compared to the current gen at the time. Galaxy games were dope tho

Graphics didn't truly stagnate until this current gen

Granted PCs have always been ahead, but this has not really wowed anyone in terms of graphics or sheer amount of computing possibilities

Personally it's pretty nice that consoles are so shit, it makes PC that much more capable.
A cheapo $100 GPU can now easily BTFO out of consoles and easily handle games at 1080p on high.
And a $200 GPU can do 4K or 144fps.

Everybody thought MS was going to fuck it up, then BAM we get hit with a console with all the benefits of a pc. No console could touch pc graphics until the xbox came along (except the dreamcast with a VGA box) and suddenly there was a contender. That was even before the modders got to work on it.

The price is what's ensuring it's DOA. If it were $200, hell $250 with $30-40 controllers, it'd be fine.

But no, it's 300 fucking dollars for the basic package and another $70 if you want another controller. That's WAY too much for what it is.
