Pixel C have a pretty beefy battery. Also, resolution and screen size does not drain as much battery life compared to actual gpu and cpu processing for a full games.
Also, BaseMark is a CPU bound test. It doesn't strain the GPU aspect of the tablet and thus makes the benchmark not applicable to actual power usage during gaming.
