HAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAH

HAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAH

>you will live long enough to see nintendo become irrelevant like xbox

this is just insulting

they should have instead sold a dock and those controllers that work with smartphones. Then all the pokemon go fags would eat it up

>those controllers that work with smartphones
You mean like, all controllers?

HALF a controller
Fifty bucks.

no

This actually isn't that bad. Hear me out

Say I lost one piece of my old controller. Instead of having to buy everything full price all over again, I can replace it for 30 or fifty dollars. If I lost my whole controller or need a new one, the price is simply the combined total price of the full controller. It is actually a good system.

>A new Wiimote is 40 bucks
>Joycons are essentially the same kind of controller
>70 bucks for two of them when it would currently be 80
This is the one complaint I don't really get, price sounds about right here.

I bet a joicon takes like $7 to build at most.

Why the long face? eventually everything will just be on one console

How does one lose a controller, shill?

ok when nintendo does it, shills are here already

>cow milking simulator
Actually looks fun

Sony always wins.

>you can't play while charging joy controllers without SPECIAL charging grip
WHAT
THE
FUCK

Are these Leaf prices or US?

You forgot US$ 89.99 for the fucking dock.

I don't know fuckface, maybe it stopped working or fell under a couch cushion. What, you never lost anything before?

Do they have final prices up in stores yet?

I've lost a controller, you paranoid faggot.

Prices are still too high, but the option to buy half controllers is good.

I hate sounding like a shill but given the amount of shit they crammed into the Joycons it's no surprise they're expensive.

Not that they cramming so much useless shit into it is a good thing, though.

It's probably going to last just as long as the Wii U pro controller.

wow I'm looking forward to buying this overpriced waggle controller TWICE

Well, you've got the money to throw it away, seeing as how you've already bought an iPad, macfag.

this

the HD rumble tech is actually really interesting to me, it could be neat

You seem to have the amount of intelligence that it takes to buy half a controller for $50.

>You will have to pay $430 to play BotW with a real controller on the Switch
>You will have to pay $440 to play "who presses the button first" shovelware on the Switch
>These are literally the only two launch titles

>Joy

>lose charge in controller
>unable to play your $300 console while charging unless you spend at least $30 on some other perihpheral

Bravo Nintendo. Fucking bravo.

Prices are the point of this thread.

don't forget to pay to play online, goy!

Shut the fuck up faggot. You are retarded.

Nice post Reggie, really made me think.

>nintendo
>online games
Nah I've had my fill of MK8 and Splatoon already

>how dare you not pay $50 sheckles for a new controller goy!

>Joycons 80$
>Muh HD rumble

I'm not paying 80$ for a glass of ice water

What the hell is "HD rumble"? How can rumble be in high definiton?

don't worry about it, just pay us $80 and you'll be fine :^)

You do know that the console come with one charging grip, right?

Do I need HD dosh to buy it?

this is awful

This is the one that doesn't make sense to me. I can see the reason for the controller pricing. The pro controller has gyro+whatever their HD rumble thing is + an IR sensor. Each Joycon is essentially it's own controller, with batteries and the aforementioned features. The dock is just a USB hub and HDMI out, why on earth is it so fucking expensive?

They did a shit job of explaining it, but it's supposed to be more like some haptic feedback shit.

...

>still falling for the HD haptics meme

steam controller and vive controllers have it and it's just a shitty loud clicking noise whenever you do anything

Nintendo hasn't been relevant in ages

That's funny, but it might be more funny that you're posting an uncropped iPad screenshot.

Maybe I should wait three years for the "Switch pro" or the "New Switch" like they did with the 3DS

These prices are steep, but I know I'll buy one eventually

Nintendrone trying to change the subject.

>actually selling half a controler

There.

Maybe should just let this shitty company go third party already.

tfw to mature to buy another Zelda console

>eventually everything will just be on pc

there, ftfy

ice cubes, you dumb fuck. now give us 299USD + tax + tip

I don't think this will flop as hard as the WiiU, but who knows at the current dumb prices for shit kids will always lose

I think this and the next future hardware attempt would need to flop before Nintendo considered doing that. Seems like they're still chasing the Wii gimmick dream for now

The Console itself charges the Joy-Cons when they're attached.

>have to switch to handheld mode to charge the controllers

Yes it does, when it's docked. At which point you are unable to play the system.

Pretty sure 2006 was over a decade ago already

You can't say its only a HALF!

>Joy Con Charging Grip

ARE YOU FUCKING SHITTING ME? THEY ARE RELEASING, AT LAUNCH, A CHARGER FOR THE HANDHELD, BUT NOT THE JOYCONS? WHAT THE FUCK!! HOW ARE PEOPLE GOING TO REACT WHEN THEIR ONE FUCKING CONTROLLER STOPS WORKING, AND THEY CAN'T EVEN FUCKING CHARGE IT?!

You don't really even NEED to pay these prices though, because you don't NEED these things.

Only thing in that image probably worth owning is that charging grip

shit

Yes you do.

The pro controller is practically mandatory to even be able to use a real dpad.

Two nukes wasn't enough.

That's the most jewish thing I've seen in a long time

>Market a console for kids
>One of the features are small controllers that kids can very easily lose
>Make each replacement fifty bucks

Fucking Japs have no souls.

>mfw I was going to buy the pro controller anyways
With that price, it better not feel cheap.

Do they have actual retail prices up in a store somewhere yet? These are just the MSRPs

Knowing Nintendo, they will ship out far too few replacement controllers, thus the retail price will probably be higher than MSRP.

>Joy Con Charging Grip.

Ok, so how do I charge the joy cons without this? Would it be better to just get the pro controller instead? Or do I need to get both? Can someone tell me how you charge the joy cons without this?

You've posted this exact post several times. Prove to those aren't the real prices faggot.

You have to put your joycons into the dock and not play until they've charged.

joycon controllers sold separately? what the fuck, that little piece of plastic is 50 bucks? i thought you people were memeing earlier. is nintendo retarded?

why does the pain of others bring you pleasure?

lol @ ur existence. i guess im guilty of it too then.

What if I take it off the dock with the joycons in the device, and plug in the charger cable to the system in handheld mode? Does it charge the handheld, or the joycons? Or both?

$70 for a FUCKING CONTROLLER

Xbone controllers have rumble and a dedicated rumble for the triggers. They feel great with games that support it and the controllers are $60. There's literally no excuse for these prices

Can't you just plug it in while you're playing, don't think it has to be in the dock to charge

HAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAH

i don't get it, are there two types of joycon grips, one charges while you play (and doesn't come with the console) and the other is just a piece of plastic? can someone epxlain this shit pls?

WHAT ARE YOU POOR

CAN'T EVEN AFFORD A BAG OF SHIT

Any chance the Wii U pro controller will be compatible? I am not touching the joy-con and I'd really rather not dosh out 70 buckaroos for a controller

>>>/global/rules/3

First time dealing with the jew user?

you only need one wiimote to play you fucking retard

The Switch had a hard life.

>it's okay when the sonydrone does it

You mean the SPECIAL charging grip that comes with the piece of shit?
Also, they showed a full 360 view of the JoyCon, did you see any room for a charging port?

Fucking think before you come into threads acting like an idiot.

>ipad
neck yourself

Pokemon GO's mass-popularity is over.

>all come with the console
>only normalfag scum need to buy more
What's the problem?

Attach them to the screen, then put the screen in the charging dock.

>moving to goalposts

The Switch comes with a grip but it's not a charging grip

I never thought I would see the day where Nintendo became a mobile developer.

Nobody said anything about sony you insecure child.

You're the one spazzing out trying to start console wars.

Is that $90 thing at the bottom JUST a charging cable?

Got a source? It definitely looked like the same exact thing as the charging grip.
