no

I got a little misty eyed when they did the reprise of the classic Zelda theme. That was the first time they've used it since the game was announced, I think.

>muh cinematic booboo trailer
It's good they've released so many actually gameplay videos of it otherwise I'd instadrop it

I got a little touched but not teary-eyed

It did evoke some feelings. Which is the first time a video game has done that for me in a long time.

>Crying over a video game

Seriously?

yes

No, but I nutted.

>HAHAHA I FAPPED TO THIS MEME

I got hype as shit but I didn't cry about it. I'm mostly just excited about the potential it has, and there's a lot of interesting and stylized environments I'd like to explore. Also fish is best girl

>pretty alright voices for the most part
>reach the supposed Zelda
What the fuck.

I hate seeing people crying so when that japanese Zelda broke out in tears it shattered my heart into a million pieces.

You can tell nintendo is really behind when they think adding voice acting is some brand new un heard of feature in video games.

>That ragtag group of characters with Link.

Please let them be recurring characters helping out. We rarely see Link making up a team.

Moment Zelda cried brought tears to my eyes.

Not a real cry, though.

>TFW it's a descendant of based Ruto and you have a Zora harem

I didn't cry. I more like almost had a heart attack when the old lady started talking that they were going to spoil the entire story or show the prologue of the game. I tensed up and dug myself into my sofa.

So far we have:
>Ice goron bro
>qt zora redhead
>bird nigga
>sexy gerudo lady
Seems like a good party to me. It seems likely they'll just be the sages though, like in OOT.

That Goron is fucking based.

>HERE IT COMES

i think so

At the very beginning of the initial Switch reveal, you can hear a rendition of the original Zelda theme being played.

No, why the fuck would I cry?

That soundtrack though

literally perfect

Person from Animal Crossing under Kondo's supervision.

This will be the first Zelda game I play.

yeah

You have enough time to play A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time before March. Which you should do.

Up until now the music we've heard has pretty much been "guys hits a piano key every 3 seconds" and then suddenly we get this godlike track in the trailer. Do you think we can actually expect anything like this in the game?

Spain version is the best. He says "I'm going to rend you in two!" He is probably having an Rurouni Kenshin style battle with one of the antagonists and that's his banter before you take control.

So where does this take place? After Ocarina of Time where a 4th timeline occurs and this is the ressurection of ganon but link is there to stop it?

I actually had an SNES and ALttP cartridge but I sold my retro collection last month. I have Wind Waker on my Wii U but haven't touched it.

I doubt it. Its a possibility in cutscenes and credits

>Be honest Sup Forums, did you cry?

Via sadness, not joy.

> He says "I'm going to rend you in two!"
WHAT THE FUCK, that's so much better than the American version.

Either way ever since I first saw Darunia I've always wanted to have a based Goron bro along for the ride.

youtube.com/watch?v=IKl0cTjRsEA

This is one of the best songs I've ever heard, of course we can expect good music in game.

youtube.com/watch?v=M_OflfYoEZY

No.

I'll wait till the game actually comes out to see if it's even decent and the Switch drops in price. I'm not buying a new console for one fucking game.

Wind Waker is a good enough entry point, it'll introduce you to Ganondorf, Ritos and Koroks and some important lore stuff that will all be relevant to this game.

you did it for the ps4

The first track is cool, but the second one is terrible. it sounds more like something that'd play in some anime scene where characters are playing a prank on someone, not a fight against some giant rock monster that wants to kill your ass.

How can anyone think she looks like anything other than an ugly piece of shit

what happened 100 years ago

The Great War

I'm sorry for your shit taste senpai

>TFW you save his daughter

I did cry...
But to Japanese voice acting

what game will this be a sequal to?

This. The song made the trailer.

Is the Master Edition NA exclusive?

Ocarina of Time

Every Zelda game

We don't know that, could take place before the NES one.

The evidence we have suggests is being one of the latest Zeldas in the series.

No. I don't tend to cry at drama's, unless it's Schindlers list or something.

They did a fully voice acted game themselves in 1997 user

>Calamity Ganon

So he's gone full Giygas and is now a massive evil force of nature? Pretty cool to be honest. After being killed so many times he became like this.

IT's probably the result of all of his different incarnations merging to an ultimate entity of evil

No. I was too busy facepalming over all the Nausicaa, Laputa and Mononoke references.

Better than Skyward Shit. Zelda actually looks likable.

All we know for certain is that it's after OoT.

>promised her ancestor you'd marry her 100 and 7 years ago
>"Y-You'll take responsibility... r-right?"

WHAT DO

...why?

Looks boring. It was promised on the Wii U. Nintendo had literally nothing better up their sleeves than to make you buy a game that should have come out on the Wii U.

Zelda fans are retarded like Sonic Fans.

I got chills and almost teared up, it was very beautifully done. Hoping to have a choice of sticking to the Jap VA

In the downfall timeline Ganon has the complete triforce, so yeah he's pretty powerful.

Skyward Sword also had Laputa references. Aonouma is just a hack who thinks copying Miyazaki makes him a directing genius.

It's also coming out for the Wii U on the same day though.

>Aonuma

Fujibayashi

What? It's available on Wii U. Check Amazon. Release date is even mentioned.

>ruined statue from twilight princess town square
>great deku tree
>koroks
>rito
>zora as well (somehow?)
>OOT temple of time

Got a little bit of shivers. most hype I can remember from a trailer desu.

These can all exist in any three of the timelines, the Kokiri could have evolved into Koroks in any three but I like the theory that they're the monkeys in Twilight Princess.

I know, it was pretty awful and generic

>People defending the English VA
Explain this to me.

I like voices I can understand.

definitely. That music is magnificent

JHEN MOHRAN CONFIRMED FOR SMASH

Got to hand it to him, Ganon really stepped up his game. After getting killed so many times, why not just go all in and become a demigod?

Certainly beats Bowser's get bigger and bigger plan.

Yeah, my eyes got all teary because they couldn't take the smeared butterfilter 720p N64 graphics.
It's like a real life simulation of having the green star and going slowly blind.

My theory is that this Ganon is the one that defeated OoT Link in Downfall timeline, then went insane from being sealed by the Sages, with the Triforce of Power overloading him.

What was his endgame in Twilight Princess again?

Crying Zelda is cute, CUTE!

I would've cried of joy if they gave Link a voice too.

Just one line would destroy the internet

>people defending the generic and horribly overacted UGUU KAWAII DESU voices that you don't even understand
explain this to me

>kek
Gotta agree though, what's Bowser's logic anyways?

Kill yourself

He's right considering how the mainstream eats Miyazaki's shit and Zelda has extreme mainstream appeal

>Skyward Sword started the copying of Miyazaki
>not Wind Waker

hnnnng

I'm not a Miyazaki expert. What does that image have to do with Miyazaki?

The very intro of the trailer's song looks like a MH song too.

>3

As long as they work on the emotion Zelda displays, the English va will be fine.

The only reason you think Japanese VA is better is because your lack of undersanding of the actual words causes you to emotionally connect to the delivery by default.

The Japanese crying scene is massively over-acted.

Assemble the triforce and make a wish I thought.

>I lost cause I wasnt big enough
>better try again just bigger!

It was one of the best trailers I've ever seen.

THIS WILL BE THE GOTYAY

The opening of Wind Waker is heavily influenced by the 'tapestry' from Nausicaa. Various other things in the game are obviously influenced by Miyazaki. Especially the cel shaded design (which Breath of the Wild is doing as well).

Do you guys think that CUTE Gerudo and based Goron will be companions?

>cute Gerudos
Holy shit, I completely missed that.

Looked like the perfect nokama to me user.

To be honest, overacting is always better than underacting. The latter is just boring and dull
