B-but it's overpriced

>B-but it's overpriced

Shut the fuck up

>he thinks "overpriced" means the same thing as "expensive"

>400 bucks in Canada
This is bad
>I can still afford it with tons of Cash to spare
This is good

>3DO: $1,165

It is overpriced.

It's a handheld that after buying the system with one games will be about $390 with tax.

That's hideous.

The controllers are overpriced, too.

The games are overpriced in the UK.

It's overpriced from a consumer standpoint where for the cost of just a switch with no games you can get a ps4 with a game and have change.

During holday sales it'll be a ps4 with 3 or 4 games with change.

Yes, so horrendously overpriced. What could I do to possibly afford this?

Oh wait, a solid day and a half of working at a real job, or maybe a six day work week at Burger King for the Anons who live at home.

Everybody here acts like it's such an egregious price then goes on to buy 90$ anime figures or 500$ graphics cards.

>It's a bad value relative to competing products
>WELL IF YOU DON'T BUY IT YOU MUST BE POOR

don't be silly.

>PS4
>412.52

Wow look at this stupid metric that doesn't matter

>get a job
I have low functioning autism so I can't, parents hate me and the checks I receive don't give me enough money to help pay for the bills

>spending on 299$ on a device you don't want means you're poor.
Okay

>don't want
The only thing the original post argued about was price. There wasn't even anything shitting on it being objectively bad, just that it was too expensive.

Then stop playing video games. If you honestly need to worry about spending three hundred dollars on a fucking diversion then don't fucking buy it but stop bitching about people spending money on children's toys when you go out and get completely different children's toys that are all basically the same shit.

"Wait a sec, are you telling me that basically every single console/computer part on the planet is horrendously overpriced and we're all getting scammed? That's impossible, Sony/Nvidia/AMD would NEVER steer me wrong like this!"

>working to buy shit labled by nintendo
no thanks

wii u will be the last one.

sorry, shill

having money doesn't mean it should be spent on lackluster stuff

t. nintendo fan ever since i was a kid

As others have mentioned "overpriced != expensive.

Given that they're asking $100 less than their more powerful competitors, I'd say $299 is pretty fair though. It still feels kinda shitty paying that much for something with such a small launch lineup whose flagship title can't even pull off 1080p.

expensive =/= overpriced

holy shit how many times does this need to be repeated

>mfw I paid more for my GPU
>mfw I still think its overpriced
I'm not going to pay a premium for shit-tier hardware you fucking drone kill yourself.

Kill yourself my man

>Don't be ridiculous
>NO I'M GONNA DOUBLE DOWN ON BEING RIDICULOUS
okay

The PS4 was top of the line technology at the time. Nothing could top it. The Switch on the other hand is outdated weak hardware. Fuck off.

"This console is too expensive"
"They're all expensive"
"Fuck off shill! I've loved Nintendo for years but I will NOT be buying this one, GOOD DAY!!! >:("

Go tell somebody who cares faggot.

you literally sound like a macfag

shill

>Two confirmed launch titles
>Paid online but no ethernet port, gotta buy the adapter separately
>2-joycon bundle $80, one alone $50. Grip for said joycons $30
>Pro-controller $70
>Monthly game downloads for subscribing to the service, but for only a NES or SNES game, and they're only free for a month
>No bundles
>Battery life can skew as low as 2.5 hours
>It's looking like friend lobbies and voice chat are actually through a third party smartphone application
>Internal storage 32 GB
>no bundled game, so in reality its at least a $360 console

>no ethernet port
Have you seen the console an ethernet port would make no sense lmao

>There are people out there who bought $700 console on launch in 1993

>buy a console in the 90s or early 00s
>Get state-of-the-art hardware that has the same graphical output as the most powerful PCs at the time
>buy a console 2017
>get some rebranded chinese tablet with glorified phone hardware
>"That will be $599 plus tip"

>live at home.
Wouldn't living somewhere mean that the place, by definition, is your home? Is it even possible NOT to live at home?

>$700
They're killing the industry. Supporting that level of jewery only shows companies that they can get away with it and every console is going to cost that much from here on out

Forgot about important once

>have to use smartphone app for voip

>i don't know how inflation works the post

ok now do this with tablets which is what this is clearly supposed to compete with

>live at home

why not buy a proper home console then
