I cheesed amygdala on ng+ using executioners gloves.
>EG
>not ACB
Story amy is a cake compared to defiled. No cheese for you except for jump abuse
Manus in Dark Souls. That guy scared the shit out of me.
You mean the chalice boss or the one that talked? I only cheesed the one that talked, for the chalice ones I kill with a flaming beast cutter or whirligig saw.
I couldn't beat Gracious and Glorious in Bayonetta until I realized the shotgun heels always staggered them and just cheesed the fights with them from then on my stunlocking them with shotguns.
Hooray for Bronze medals.
I used the jump cheese for that one.
Stay at base of tail, it jumps. It heads always lands directly behind you. Charge as soon as it jumps, your sword will hit its head, run to tail again.
I cheesed the last phase of Defiled Amygdala by only attacking her legs.
I also killed Pthumeru Descendant by keeping him behind a staue and hitting him through it.
I never got hit once.
basically every other fight I have trouble with end with pkp with the fire claws on feet to lay bombs
i'm really bad at bayo but I love it
can't get platinum in 2 tho, they changed something which I don't understand
Haven't started on the chalice dungeons quite yet but Amygdala seems like a pretty exploitable boss in general. Does the chalice version change enough to be a problem or does it retain the same habits?
I cheesed gascoigne.
Axe + large gravestones till werewolf
Then throw 4 molotovs
In that dungeon he's not really any different in his moveset or anything, he just has a ton of health and you have half your max health so he pretty well kills you in one or two hits.
I only took a concealed ranger and sniper for supply raids in XCOM2.
youtube.com
That's about it.
I tried a few times before using this method and couldn't beat it.
I found that the Chalice Dungeons tended to change up how you play a boss i.e. if in story you are supposed to stay close, you have to back off in the Chalice.
For Rom you are best killing all the spiders whereas in the story you should go for Rom and ignore the spiders, etc.
For Amygdala in the story I found attacking from the back to be a pain, in the Chalice it was the only way I could win.
I used the Pizza Cutter on the whole game.
To this day I still don't know what I did, but boy, I did it.
I watched a youtube video on how to beat the Bed of Chaos
Gonna add to this, even in the Chalice they change it up.
That Abhorrent Beats in the OP, I could only kill by cheesing poison knifes.
I then fought it again in a smaller area and had to go guns blazing as there was no room to cheese with the knifes.
Managed to beat it fair and square in that one even though the arena was smaller.
>couldn't cheese the last boss of DaS because my parry game was shite
I crouch stabbed.
same, i couldn't beat that fucker, i just shot him from the cliff above. i feel shitty about it now.
>Manus with a bow in DaS
>Zanmato in FFX
>Savescumming in XCOM
>Typhoon in Human Revolution
Beat Krauser and every regenerater in RE4 with the knife method
Is that really cheesing?
I'm playing DMC2 so far and I guess I'm cheesing every boss. The AI is so shit and their patterns are poorly designed that it's hard not to.
>DMC3SE
>First time playing a DMC game
>Cheese Cerberus with Swordmaster and shotgun
I savescum. A lot. It still takes me a long ass time to do anything
Playing stylishly in DMC2 is very difficult and some bosses outright require you to spam guns because it's physically impossible to touch them because FUCKING HELECOPTERS
I summoned for Loran Darkbeast. I feel no shame.
I just finished DMC1 earlier today. DMC2 doesn't flow as well or something. I know it's supposed to be the shit one though so I should have expected these things.
There are some things I like which I'm sure carry over to DMC3 anyway.
>try to cheese the shit out of gherman with molotovs and knives
>keep dying
>eventually use all and run out
>keep dying and dying
>literally use 400 blood vials I've accumulated
>don't want to farm them
>have no echoes
>fight again anyway
>kill him without getting hit
felt like the spirit of "git gud" was goku and I was gohan doing a father son kamehameha against cell
The team had no idea what they were doing. Itsuno tried to salvage things as much as he could but he was thrown in too late into production.
But then he made Dragon's Dogma and all was right with the world.
I died every other DMC1 boss at least a couple times because there are things to actually learn about their patterns and such and I needed to git gud.
The few I've fought in DMC2 so far are just weird and spammy. It seems like flying around in devil trigger is like cheating now since you can almost always hit a spot to do damage to them while in DMC1 you'd have to wait for an opening or something.
I don't know, maybe it gets better. I'm certainly going to move on to DMC3 after I'm done with Dante's story, not trying the other.
It doesn't. Bosses are too simplistic. Dante's more advanced moves are unreliable. Guns are too overpowered. There's too much breathing room. Every single attack of Dante's stuns or knocks enemies down. And even if you, by some miracle, start to get low on health, Desperate Devil Trigger destroys everything.
I cheesed Armstrong, didn't bother cutting the debris and I abused the fuck out of Offensive Defense's I-frames.
I forgot, I did die once and it was disappointing that the yellow orb just revives you on the spot. Now I know that all I have to do is just buy a bunch of yellow orbs because it's basically a free health refill while the bosses keep their health. I can restrict myself, but whatever. Just gonna get through it to play DMC3 and then 4.
Also, is it just me or is the camera actually shittier in DMC2? Like, it actually follows you more unlike DMC1, which seems nice, but it's more like the camera is sitting on a tripod on the ground, just looking straight up at you in the air instead of ever zooming out at all to actually show what's going on.
Some areas were a nice overhead view and I instantly was getting S rank combos though.
I hope DMC3 is a major improvement to the camera. It doesn't need to be a free camera, but I hope it at least zooms out more often.
>parry the lunge attack perfectly every time
>fuck up the cross chop parries
my brain is backwards
I've cheesed Micolash every single time. I don't know why, guess I just feel like his fight is a waste of time. Never cheesed any others though, at least not successfully.
