>streamer starts off by saying "this game takes skill"
>he restarts the game if he doesnt get 2 good treasure items and 2 good boss items for the first 2 floors
does everyone play like this? sheesh
Streamer starts off by saying "this game takes skill"
It depends on the item room.
If its something like 'The Poop', a boring health upgrade or 'Bobs brain' its usually fine, anything else.
But if they reset for anything else, there a beta/
>this game takes skill
That was mostly on the original/WotL, since Rebirth everything changed
Depends entirely on what the character and item is.
confirmed for rerollers - punks
who /everyruniswinnable/ here?
There is absolutely nothing you can do or find in game that will make the first two floors fun or engaging.
Getting a damage up is the difference between a 3 minute basement run and a 20 minute basement run.
Since floors 1 and 2 are boring no matter what, it is in my best interest to get them done as soon as possible. It is a waste of time to stick out a low damage run and I will always hold R if I dont get a damage up.
Furthermore people people just pretend isaac has skill because theyve never played a game where you can get a game over before and the random elements give a false sense of overcoming hurdles. Play Starward Rogue instead.
>he restarts the game if he doesnt get 2 good treasure items and 2 good boss items for the first 2 floors
I've only seen a streamer do that for challenge runs (or Lost runs before Lost got the Holy Mantle).
Which streamer are you talking about?
>Get nothing but familiars
>Deal literally no damage to the later floor bosses
>Only a matter of time before you die
Yeah nah I'll reroll because edmund put in so many shit items
thats strange, i love familiars
he doesn't know how to eat the steak
