i used it quite a bit... if i didn't feel like getting up to my pc, or if i was playing a console game away from my pc and wanted to look something up. i prefer it greatly compared to my phone's browser, which is slow as shit.

A list is simple and easy and far more space conservative.
I would say that UI would be a pain in the ass to scroll through if you had a lot of games, like the old XBONE UI, but that's not a concern with a modern Nintendo console where you'll never own more than 20 games anyways.
