I guess just not playing the game is not an option for you

At any price or any deal on the Switch, you're going to just emulate it anyways.
I know I am.

You can do 4k on the cemu so yeah. Hopefully guy will work on perfecting the zelda game on 4k.

I suppose Switch Emu will come soon after the launch.

Games run but are unfortunately not stable. Bayonetta 2 varies for people but there's this annoying ass beep in the background that almost blew out my ears when I head phones on. Hopefully Zelda isn't too bad.

keep dreaming retardo

Keep crying, nintoddlers.

What if I don't wanna run in 4k and basically just want a WiiU from the comfort of my desktop? Native res, no bells and whistles?

I keep asking for recommended specs but they always cite the specs you need for 4k

I custom built my pc and it's probably more powerful than yours

It still has tons of glitches and framerate issues, just be a good poorfag and wait for the devs to fix it.

why has CEMU progressed faster than most emulators? is it more people are active developing it or is it because most of it being a Wii?

Just wait for a year and it will be like Dolphin.

It really depends on alot of factors. The easiest way to find out is by trying it on your machine. If it's unplayable then you probably need an upgrade.

Poorfags. Hahaha.

Scuttlebutt says they got leaked documentation and that's why it's closed source

Buy a used Wii U on Craigslist.

Get 128gb flash drive or two

Google "Brazilian Hack" with "Wii U" & "GBA Temp"

Your welcome

It might even be possible to port over the textures from the Switch version, giving a better experience overall.

>Buy
>a Wii U

Nah, I'm not paying to take that shit off your hands.

because they add a whole new version number after every incremental update

where the fuck is the crack for 1.7

Them boys doing good work. Let's not put a bullet in that Patreon money.

fuck off, what sort of retard puts drm on a emulator,.

Gee, I dunno.

>I would rather play subpart PC emulation on an expensive rig, wait for builds so I can play the game I want with a little less crashing and only 50% frame rate issues this time and always being short one hardware update to make everything run at optimum.quality instead of just playing everything right now as it is meant to be played complete with online play free access to every e-shop title

Okay

It would really do consoles good to stop pretending that emulation isn't real and actually compete for once. Consoles really are killing themselves against PC.

Well, for most people, getting something is better than nothing. I'm not sure how that didn't make it into your brain. Not to mention, pretty soon that emulator will make games look better than the Switch can, sadly enough.

>implying most consumers even use emulators enough for it to qualify as competition

This is a huge problem I have with PC games too. They always assume that Minimum reqs are still people playing at 1080p 60fps or higher... It makes no sense. Minimum reqs should be, if you can run the fucking game and play at least 30fps consistently.

most people dont even know that emus exist

It could be the devs being gods, leaked code, more interest in emulating nintendo games than other consoles,... there are lots of factors and it could be a combination of any, really, no one knows the specifics except for the cemu team itself.

Do you guys have ANYTHING else going on in your lives besides your shit computers and emulators?

My penus :^)

Def will not be available day 1.

or day 2
or day 30
or day 100
or day 365
or...

But don't you think progress would be better on their part if they had some extra dough? I want this thing ready for Zelda and it seems like they're doing a great job so far.

Someone post the 1.7.0 version.

>Nvidia architecture
>emulator
You mean like all those Xbox emulators? Oh wait...

I just don't understand how a person who doesn't buy a game or show any support for a developer is entitled to the work of others and complains about the developers not catering to them.

>Get 128gb flash drive or two

And fill it with what exactly? Two dozen worthwhile games WiiU has are a very poor offering.

unf
Any plans/timelines for online support?

One assumes you're not buying an expensive PC just to emulate an obsolete console, user.

>subpart PC emulation
I love this meme from you consolecucks. If you had ever used an emulator you'd know the experience is actually a huge upgrade and all of it for free.

I own a hacked Wii U so I don't give a fuck.

And I get to play online.

>i'm a retard that wasted his money on a sub-par product while PChads will be playing the best version for free
k.

>I'm a retard who spent $2000 on a PC to play shoddy buggy emulators and not even able to get online

>One person on Sup Forums has brains

How's the 3DS PC emulation scene? I'm surprised that Wii u emulation is further ahead.

Doing all right

So anyone downloaded and played games through the emulator yet? Is it playable?

Some games are. Most are not

What always astounds me with arguments against PC is that people act like playing games is the only thing they can do.
Also
>$2000
>implying emulators don't get constant updates until they play games better than originally intended

anyone have an invite for a private game tracker? thx

[email protected]

What the fuck is with you people who can't wait 2 fucking days for the public release to be out.
In the meantime you can still use 1.6.4.

Do you need the Wii U tablet or can you just put in any controller like a Wii U Pro?

Devil Survivor Overclocked ran perfectly without issues when I played it 2 months or so ago. SMT IV ran like shit

Didn't try other games because Nintendo doesn't really have good games and i'm not 5 to play pokemon

Neither. You map gamepad buttons to the keyboard

Why would you want to use a stuttering barebones emulator with awful glitched sound?

Nice way to ruin your experience of a game. Just wait until games are actually playable

I'm only interested in the jrpgs 2bh.

>Spending money on a PC for anything other than games
>implying gaming PC's aren't more expensive than if you need a notebook.for work or school
>And yet you spent so much money and your emulators still suck

Uhh, whatever user, enjoy your old games lol

Simply by not being a redditor

Well if the product is super good maybe he would buy it, but if it's ok but nothing more then why pay?

most gamers know emulation exists and most gamers think emulation is hard to do so they never do it

Is there a way to aim up and down in Splatoon?

There are no recommended specs. This emulator hasn't even left alpha stage yet.

Has Pikmen 3 made any performance improvements? I remember it being barely playable if you had a save that skipped the first day.

>defending paid emulators
almost as cancer as paid online

>have pirates do the heavy lifting only to c&d them after their done.
pricks.

Do you have something against commercial emulation?

If a paid emulator meant I could get regular updates high compatibility and a static dedicated team I'd pay money for one. And commercial emulation is perfectly legal as well.

yes, because you know better than me that it would end up in an always online, subscription based software that still hardly work, and focus only on the most played games with no hope of someone fixing it if it ever gets abandoned. The only reason why dolphin got where it is is because it is open source, and several people where able to submit and fix small bugs for it
Also, even if it is perfectly legal, no big company would but two shit on it, and smaller ones would be continually pushed out of business because company like nintendo would nag them anyway and free alternatives would destroy their profits

how am i suppose to play W101 without the gamepad?

I think paid emulation would have enough competition with free open source emulation that it'd have to maintain high levels of performance and compatibility.

Even the best open source projects can rarely compete with well managed commercial products. I think that would also be true for emulation. It's that profit motive that is essential. The commune where everyone one selflessly works for the betterment of society never works while the capitalist greed driven system always flourishes.

I wish it weren't true but it is. Commercial emulation is a bit of an untapped market outside shit like the virtual console we haven't seen much in that way since bleem won it's case against sony and died due to legal fees regardless. Bleem might be shit by today's standards but it was miles ahead of it's free commentators back in 1999-2001.

>Even the best open source projects can rarely compete with well managed commercial products.
the point is, most open source projects have already the same level of features and compatibility as a decent commercial relase. The open source projects that end up sucking the most are the ones that try to substitute a well known and used commercial product, like office or gimp. Meanwhile inkskape is one of the best vector graphic tools out there, because it actually arrived first. Blender planted itself in the community of amateur and mid range 3d graphic because big expensive commercial product had no foothold. And from that point onward the projects grows anyway. there is no market for commercial emulation on PC, because all the people that play on pc will keep going with the free version. The only way I see it work is on a nes mini kind of model or like virtual console, where the provider also provides licensed roms

How long until CEMU emulates Breath of the Wild without issue?

5 hours

> shilling on Sup Forums
why is it allowed to promote patreon here again?

Sure man, whatever helps you sleep at night

My guess is that it will be between 3 and 6 months, the cemu team will probably focus on making it run well since it would help them grow more.

6 months to a year.

Can CEMU emulate Hyrule Warriors yet? Last I checked it had this problem where the screen is just green

They got a devkit that was supposed to be discarded, that is why the emulator is closed source, that and because they're fucking jews

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19WV2YQvS2PkiHnQTlYP7cE2eHOPl06Rx4tCvfud_Hpw/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0

you have to be 18 to post here

Fot a baseline OP, I was on a AMD390 with a i5-4560k and could run at 60fps at 1080
Didn't try anything other than that
