the game is legit but it has no replay value
2>1
what makes u say so ?
>Another I don't like Witcher 3 thread.
Will you make a 'I hate the new Doom' thread next OP?
...
that game probably still has a couple of months left before we can be certain it has aged like rancid, filthy, spoiled, unstored shitty goat milk to everyone.
So what?
Is over 100 hours of game play and actual quests that have actual stories not enough for you.
Also define replay value.
Because replay value is if you see yourself play the game aver again after you beat it.
Not just right after you beat it.
Ton of games don't have multiple choices and the story is always the same yet iv replayed them ore than 2 times.
Like FFVII or most mega man games or Most MG games.
When Cyberpunk comes out maybe
Pretty sure it's still one of the most well liked games ever made in the history of vidya. You can't really judge how something "aged"(video games don't age) if you never liked it to begin with, you retarded fuck.
Beating TW3 once will rack up more hours than beating MGS 1-2-3-4 10 times each.
"Replay value" is kind of a dumb critique.
Speak for yourself.
I wish there was a mod that fixed the movement and controls.
It's genuinely what keeps me from enjoying the game. It just feels so fucking disgusting to play.
TW3 was great. Sorry your a pleb OP.
Not already but I can see it happening soon.
Also
1>3>2
Goty edition has fixed controls
>Really wanna play The Witcher series for the story
>Gameplay gives me throat gonorrhea
>TW3
>aged like milk
>still one of the best looking games ever
nice try , here's a (you)
>everyone is as autistic as I am
speek for yourself indeed
It didn't last time I tried it a month or two ago. Geralt still controlled like a drunk on a segway(though better than he used to) and the controls were still controller focused and almost impossible to bind comfortably on M&K.
3 combat is fine. Dont listen to sonyggers
>people who dont share my opinion are all dumb
If that is the logic you need to live your life it's probably better off you'll eventually kill yourself.
Even if that is the case i still need to get past 1 and 2 to get the full experience.
How anyone can honestly say that 1 has good gameplay in any way is beyond me
Graphically speaking, all early 3D, N64 and PS1 3D games. They look like death
>god tier graphics
>good dialogue
>good music
>good character interactions
>good sidequest stories in some cases
>loot system is extremely stupid and shouldn't even be in the game when its this worthless
>open world is filled with ubisoft-tier filler that nobody likes doing
>quest design is absolutely braindead and panders to literal retards who couldn't tie their own shoe laces without handholding instructions and some helpful exposition
>main villain has less lines than random reskinned shopkeepers, and is a complete joke in general
>main story focuses on cliches and boring mary sue characters
>main story is practically super mario in medieval poland, your ciri is in another city/town/island, hidden under 20 filler quests where you play the part of an errand boy with nothing better to do
>the "meaningful choices" barely matter at all and the larger ones only give you a 30 second slide show at the end with slight differences, no actual gameplay changes
>even the hailed Bloody Baron questline falls for this shit because no matter what you choose, the Baron leaves the game completely and Velen turns to shit for the other civilians
>combat is extremely shallow and requires no thought at all even on death march
>enemy design and variety is abysmal with blatant reskins popping out left and right, even in paid DLC
>entire game doesn't control as snappy and fluid as it should
Horrible fucking game but a good experience.
Could have been my favorite game of all time if it didn't have such abysmal gameplay in all fronts, not just combat.
nobody ever said that. If you want to play 1 you have to bite the bullet
>combat is extremely shallow and requires no thought at all even on death march
good luck with DLC bosses and some DLC monsters
Spamming side step and light attack like always
wew, so hard.
Like seriously, what boss did you find hard? Dettlaff?
How anyone can find this game challenging at all when it literally gives you invincibility as a spell is beyond me.
You haven't played a game with abysmal gameplay.
you made me remember
>be in skellige
>part of the main quest makes you kill Lugos
>a slide show saying you caused a civil war between clans and etc
>"nah, it's cool man, it didn't last long"
OP is from the year 2029
I bet you think witcher senses is good game design too, you casual fucking shit
Post that on Reddit, screen cap the replies, and report back to us.
what are you on about? Outside of some poor textures here and there (which can be fixed) the game looks great. Has some of the most impressive lightning and weather effects I have seen in a while. Kind of wish speedtree would disappear however I am surprised consoles could even handle it [spoilers]

david beckam mostly
delet
Timesplitters 2, has some control quirks and some of the levels are stupid hard
Champions of Norrath, game is really boring and all the skills suck, they are really uneventful and lack the spectacle you get from other ARPGs
first metroid is kinda ass.
>cast quen
>sidestep and attack once for the entire fight
>do it in the corner so you don't aggro multiple at a time
wew
soo haaard
Bloodborne was never graphically great. It was, and still is amazing art design and aesthetics wise.
After playing the newer ones going back to the old Total War games is just a pain.
> Amazing art design and aesthetics.
Bloodborne will never age like milk. It is destined to be that cheap wine that tastes fine but is just not good enough. Its art style and design decisions are kind of timeless.
As long as you don't end up aggroing more than one at a time, you should be fine.
> Timeless.
ok now i know that you havent played the game ,or this boss at least
at the final stages he counter attacks every single attack you throw him ,even if you hit him with blizzard
only way to kill him is by counter attacking him ,no quen no cheesy mechanics
try to shill a game after playing it first mongoloid retard
Melee
The original Uncharted
Payed the second one first and went back to the first one later. No wonder everyone was on their knees when Uncharted 2 came out. The first one looks like ass.
I love TW3 but I think you're going a bit overboard with your exaggerations you stupid faggot
You can act all funny and contrarian all you want, it wont change the facts.
That is not true at all, fucking what lol
>no cheesy mechanics
You can stop lying any time now user.

wow bro, so hard amiright?
Call of Duty campaigns going as back as 1, UO and 2.
They're just so scripted, it's like a different outcome will never come out. They have been recycling the same shitty AI since forever, so playing them today just feel dated as fuck. Many things start to feel like a sore thumb, like respawning enemies, and how in some games you only progress when you move forward, and this is tied to respawning shit, since staying in on spot killing enemies doesn't count for shit since a new enemy just takes the downed one's place.
>Ha yeah if I show him this I am sure to prove him wrong instead of forming a decent counter argument
How does the inside of your rectum smells like? Because you are honestly pretty far up there, retard.
he didn't even try to speak for everybody you ass
...
This
Mostly it has no replay value because instead of generic "Go here and kill stuff" It's "Get story, go there, get story, go back here, kill a couple of enemies, get story, get reward"
1.07 added an alternate movement option that makes control more PC optimal.
nice legit video
>pc exp exploit , lets blame the game
also this vid is uploaded 1 week after dlc release ,the thing is patched now
again , try to play the game before shilling, mongol
(you)
Well sure, lets play by your autism then
youtube.com
wow, that sure was difficult
Just face the fact that every witchershill agrees on - the gameplay is subpar garbage and blatantly not even the main draw for the game.
ok , at least you tried now gotta admit that
thats the correct way to fight him to be honest
but the fact that its on NG+ and oneshots everything with a glass cannon build its not a problem with witcher 3 , its a problem with every fucking RPG / ARPG / JRPG
the first time you meet this boss ,there is no legit chance to do 12k damage as he does ,so its not "easy"
since i smelled your soulfaggism , there are dosens of vids in dark souls bosses getting killed in 3-4 shots ,exploiting everything in the process,i could post them and say"hurr durr dark souls is ez af" ,but that would be pointless , wouldnt it ?
Man you are playing a videogame called Sup Forums and are fighting the hardest boss, a memeing faggot. You already lost.
>mfw you bumped this pointless thread
Yes, Dark Souls is easy. So what? So are games like MGRR and Bayonetta but they're FUN.
Witcher 3 isn't. You get one, very limited moveset with 5 shitty spells where 2 of them feel useful, a crossbow that does no damage, bombs that act more like a stun than anything else, and absolutely garbage enemy design and variety.
is there any mod to make the combat harder without changing it too much?
im playing on death march and its piss easy
the uninstall mod
I don't know in what state the Witcher 3 is currently but I remember playing an alchemist build and the gameplay was quite different from my gf's build. The problem is when you want to min/max and do the most effective thing, which is spam light attack + dodge. That's not fun. I tried to combine things, not make the game deliberately harder, but I didn't exploit the design flaw and the game was enjoyable.
Literally this. Every fucking boss hits hard but has very limited attack patterns.
Take the Toad Prince for example.
>rush to him, side step tongue atk, and cast Yrden
>side step to his back in case of tongue atk and spam light atk
>back off when yrden wears off to avoid his jumping atk
>cast yrden...
its like when in skyrim the most effective build is conjuration, this shit can handle legendary difficulty while you do nothing even at lvl 1
is it the most effective way to play ? yes
is it the most fun ? no
