Why not this?
Why not this?
because milk cows
Because that's unrealistic and would be way to expensive.
This
Gimmicky and expensive.
Because every developer would have to make their own joycon controller and thats stupid and expensive
People already (rightfully) sperg over the prices of the regular controllers. Let's not push it.
Holy fuck, let the GameCube go already.
No, they can just make a game that uses the regular controller.
basically it would cost a fortune, and it really makes no sense making 50 controllers for different games, like it would be a little better if there were a set 4 to 5 options but the creator did this shit.
>expensive
Well the fishing and splatoon ones are particularly stupid.
The fishing controller is held in the right hand but the rod is on the right side.
And you would have to remove one of your hands to pull the little squid out, instead of just pressing a button.
Becuase you can't eat it!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
So $60 game plus unique joycon so $150 per new game?
That gun attachment should come with a real bullet so I can kill myself
...
Not until they surpass its functionality with regard to smash
Is this the american simulator?
The prices are the problem here. It's such a fucking neat idea, skyward sword did it at an affordable price, however the switch is selling overpriced vidya and the shitty default controls are fucking expensive
looks like
>joy-con
>con
They got that right.
ICE
IN A GLASS
ONE, TWO, THREE
...
Jesus Christ, Nintendo is a fucking joke.
Because the system hasn't even launched yet. Give it one to two years.
shit idea desu
the actual console itself too :^)
I'd be very surprised if they didn't introduce this concept later in the console's life.
Expensive for them. They don't give a fuck about the consumer.
Compared to what they've already got right now? Probably not.
Because if you ever hear yourself think "that is a cool idea, I hope Nintendo do that", you can guarantee Nintendo will not do that.
>It's too gimmicky
>It's unrealistic
This is Nintendo we're talking about.
>that guy working at the event who is wearing a huge neck scarf covering the entire Switch logo
how is this allowed? uniforms are made for a reason. i am reporting this to nintendo and will ensure that he never works for them again.
Dildo attachment when?
>Each game requires its own controller
>Games cost $60
>Controllers cost $80
this
not to mention that it would have to fit in charging grip. If it only fir on the side of the screen then it would be difficult to play on the big screen instead of the handheld mode.
>games could cost only $30
>controllers could be some cheap $30 shit
>bundled together costs the same as bomberman R
Nintendo fucked up everything with the prices.
Wonder when and if there will be 3rd party joycon controller replacements and such so we don't pay $70 for replacement.
>there will never be another WarioWare game again
>1 2 Switch: the cock chugging and milking simulator is the new standard
Thanks for reminding me why I hate the dev teams over at Nintendo, user.
Were you not alive during the Wii years?
The problem with an optional peripheral is that, if you sell it with a game, it jumps the price up to $80 and the game doesn't sell. If you don't sell it with the game, then nobody is going to have it and so you need to design your game without it. Nobody is going to spend $80 on Yokai Watch and a fancy add-on which only works for that specific game.
Just look at the GBA cables, and the number of games which used those. (Four, if you count the Tingle Tuner from Wind Waker which nobody used.)
Just look at what happened with every single Wiimote attachment.
Hell, just look at Amiibos. The idea was to unlock bonus content if you had the correct Amiibo, but you can't count on anyone having any specific (or even any in general) Amiibo available. And so, you have games which probably sold poorly due to Amiibo functionality which nobody had (Project STEAM) and basically everything else is a shitty bonus outfit or other irrelevant stuff.
>Hey Nintendo. I still like the concept of the motion controlls and since we still have the resources of it we will include it.
>Even when the controller will cost 70 dollars.
We need a nuke for the hardware development department.
Motion controls were not a bad thing.
I hate the idea of only one controller with the system, though. Especially for a system focused on party multiplayer like the Switch seems to be doing, that's going to be a killer. ARMS had better come packaged with an additional set of Switchmotes, because it would be impossible to play that game 2P without a second set. And you really won't be able to sell ARMS at a price of $60 + $80 to anyone.
While I agree about the ARMS thing, it seems most other games can be played with half a remote.
Coupled with projected battery lives of 20 hours, it's fine.
That said though, this whole mess is fucking retarded and I don't know how anyone can even ironically defend this shit.
>That'll be 89.99 plus tip and tax per game
