What game are you most hyped for?

What game are you most hyped for?

What will you buy?

I'm in for Zelda, 1-2 Switch, MK8D, ARMS and Mario Odyssey

Oh and Spl2n

I almost forgot about it

Sonic Mania, maybe BotW if it isn;t a wolf in sheep's clothing like SS was. Xenoblade I'm neutral about since I've never played any Xenoblade game.

But I REALLY fucking want Mario Odyssey.

Does anyone know if Skryim is the updated HD edition?

Sure, with 16xAA and 4k

Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2 and Fire Emblem Warriors are the only exclusives that I really want to play. ARMS looks like it mitebcool, but need to know more about it. I'm also interested in all those Dragon Quest games, but they're all multiplatform.

At this point I'm debating whether to get a PS4 or a Switch. I was expecting more from the Switch's launch lineup, especially after Nintendo spent a year talking about how important a good launch lineup was.

Zelda for Wii U. Switch sucks and accessories are too expensive. I will buy it when it gets hacked.

>I was expecting more from the Switch's launch lineup

What's wrong with it? Having Zelda, Mario, Splatoon and new IP in the first year is pretty wild. Much better than the DS, 3DS and Wii lineup.

Hahahahah. Look at that fucking list.

Mother.
Fucking.
Bomberman.
Nigga.

You have no idea how hard my dick was when I saw it. I can't fucking wait.

Honestly, Snipperclips looks like a ton of fun and I became 1000% hyped after watching Treehouse and Tokyo play it.

Zelda also looks awesome, and I'm a huge fag for Splatoon. Mario I wanna see more of, but if it's like 64 then I'm sold on a day 1 buy. Xenoblade I wanna see how the localization team handles it because XBC was made into a gem based off the amazing localization.

Launch year != launch lineup.

>1-2 Switch
>unironically being excited about 1-2 Switch

Take me off this gay earth

I was excited for the Switch and really wanted a reason to buy it but this reveal was the biggest letdown ever. I'll spend my money on something else, Ninty lost a customer in me.

Zelda, MK8D, ARMS, Odyssey, Splat2n SF2, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and Xenoblade, and Fire Emblem Warriors. Overall I think this is a great year 1 line-up, but still a somewhat poor day 1 lineup.

It looks fun, but I don't know why it wasn't a pack in game since it's not something I would spend money on.

That game is tempting me to do a day one buy desu

Probably because you have gr8 taste

The only way I'm buying one is if there's a good Metroid on it. Otherwise I don't care

snipperclips looks like something CALarts shat out.

>Every fucking puzzle.
>Everu single fucking puzzle.
>This little Snip just sits there and gives me this stupid look on his face.

Zelda and Mario look amazing but I think I'll wait for more games or Monster Hunter

>MHXX still isn't announced for an English release

No words on Stories either.

If by E3 they don't say anything then it's fair to assume we're not getting XX. Then at TGS we'll see if CAPCOM sticks with nintendo or goes somewhere else or even multiplatform with the series which would be weird considering they don't want to split the fanbase.

I just want to know who is getting MH so I can buy that since I don't have any current gen consoles aside from my OG3DS

>Hyped
BOTW
>interested
Odyssey
>why not
MK8 Deluxe
Bomberman R
Ultra SF2
Puyo Puyo Tetris
>shovelware
the rest

Xenoblade 2 and Mario Kart 8

I desperately need to know if Nintendo plans on releasing more wiiU titles through BC or retail and what kind of BC it has with wii and gamecube.

This is what will sell me on it rather than new titles

That's a stellar lineup for anyone that never bought in to the WiiU

The only ones relevant to me are BOTW, NMH3 and maybe the new Xenoblade Chronicles.

>What game are you most hyped for?
Zelda, Splatoon 2, I am Setsuna, Octopath, MK8D, Xenoblade and Sonic Mania
>What will you buy?
Day one will probably be Zelda and I'll have a look at what the Digital shop is like

Is Xenoblade really slated for 2017?

I'm most hype for MK8D

And I already own a Wii U.

Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 2 is what's under my radar as of now. I never played Splatoon on the Wii U, so I might pick that up as well, but that depends on if the paid online is worth it.

Not really worth getting a Switch on day one though, I'll need to see a couple of more games confirmed for it.

I hope this is just a quick look at what they're doing this year and it's supplemented in a big way with Directs and E3.

No sign on retros game, for example

Would buy one for Spla2n if it didn't have the subscription now.

The one without paid online. Oops.

For someone who doesn't mind playing zelda on the wii u, literally why would I buy a switch before christmas for mario odyssey?

In Japan, yes.

>1-2 Switch

Try shilling harder.

BotW, which will last me a while. I also think Arms looks fun as fuck but I need to see more, don't want it to just be a reskinned wii boxing

Maybe in the Summer if you want the new Splatoon. I don't think they are keeping their low playerbase on the Wii U in mind with their launch lineup.

NoE said 2017, but I think that the game is really coming just in 2018

xenoblade chronicles is a masterpiece

xenoblade chronicles X has litteraly nothing to do with the first one

xenoblade chronicles 2 looks like MySims x SAO

>300 bucks to play shitty rehashes and a 900p 20fps Wii U port

BotW, MK8D, Splat tim 2 and odyssey are all for sure buys for me.

This is actually much more interesting visually than the original game.

I hate what they did with bomberman.

>Several minutes to shitpost about something you never had interest in to begin with

>Don't even have a face when

There's no reason it wouldn't be.

I would have bought it if it was around 200€ and had games.

Snipperclips

1, 2, Switch

Mario Odyssey

These I'm already sold on. Might end up waiting until Christmas with getting one, though, if Mario really does arrive there.

I'll be playing Zelda on my Wii U.

Well then you can probably do that in two or three years. All systems need late adopters.

I'm a nintendoshill, fair warning

Guaranteed buys:
Botw
Bomberman remake
Mk8d
Spla2n
Fire emblem warriors
Mario odyssey
Yooka layee
Arms
Xenoblade 2
Puyo puyo tetris
Snipperclips
Disgaea 5
Fast rmx (why does no one care about this)
No more heroes 3

Maybe:
Shin megami tensei game
Sonic mania
Dragonball xeno 2
Skyrim

Purchasing switch with firm hopes for:
Some animal crossing sequel
Retro studios game
Next level games game
Pokemon company game
Kirby something
Sakurais new game
Monhun

Yeah, that shit is atrocious. Not as horribad as Atomic or Zero, but still bad enough that it shouldn't be shown in public.

Skyrim

>Fast rmx (why does no one care about this)

I care. But it remains to be seen what's new. Or at least I haven't seen it.

I already have the two first games and the DLC for NEO. If they just releasing it with all the levels from both and some new vehicles, I'm not sold.

I won't lie, I'm curious to see how it runs in off-tv mode. And if they pull something crazy like optional motion controls.

But the game itself I got bored with ten years ago.

>nor the amiibo

Definitely 1-2 Switch.

Look tremendous, high energy game.

>1 2 Switch

Literally why?

How is mario kart deluxe not a launch title?

The fact that people are willing to pay for a shitty tech demo that looks like it was made by a bunch of interns really blows my fucking mind.

How long before Newground flash games end up on the Switch at $59.99 a piece?

Literally because I like that kind of games.

And I'm anticipating Nintendo to do it even better than anyone has in the past.

>tfw want to play snipperclips
>but all my friends are "too mature" to want to play it
I need gf to play these casual games with me.

I disagree with your general assessment of the game.

To me it looks like a well polished proof-of-concept consumer product.

I assume Smash will get a port as well.

They want to leave room for the new and more experimental titles.

They know Mario Kart will sell.

nom nom nom

Snipperclips is one of those things people will pretend not to want to play, but you bring the thing over anyway and play with 1-2 other people, and eventually you have everyone watching and wanting to get in on a game since it's actually fun.

It will probably show up at E3, and be launched by the holiday season.

Unless they are saving it for holiday 2018.

>Yooka layee

Oh, that's right. I backed that for Wii U and got cucked somewhat fierce. I guess I'll move my reward to Switch and have something to play.

Yeah I figured E3 as well. Probably a complete edition with all DLC and maybe Ice Climbers.

A fool and their money are soon parted.

Then it should've been a pack-in game to demonstrate the unique features of the console.

It has all the buttons and functionality to allow for all the games, but since the chipset is completely different from the GC/Wii family, porting games will take more effort, and Switch certainly isn't strong enough to emulate them properly.

But yeah, this one is sort of a biggie for me too.

Try shitposting harder.

>CALarts

The Californian Institute of Arts?

Where most of the staff at Pixar are educated?

Yes, but then people like would complain about having to pay for it, or would claim that games like thatvwas all the system was good for.

So I understand the decision to not do that.

This, I'm surprised it didn't come with any games at all

I wouldn't hold my breath fot Ice Climbers, but all DLC (and no more coming) would sell me.

I didn't buy Smash for Wii U becauce of the crazy DLC scheme.

My guess is the pack ins for both Wii and Wii U have rubbed core players the wrong way. And this time they'd rather focus on reconnecting with people who enjoy games than try to lure in more casuals that really just want to play Candycrush or Clash Royal anyway.

Instead, there's likely to be and amount of free and free-to-start stuff available on the store.

Well the only reason Ice Climbers didn't make it is because of the 3DS, so a new Switch version would fix that.

The Wii only came with Wii Sports because of NoA. NoJ did not pack that in, and now NoJ has more control over NoA, combined with 1 2 Switch being worse than Sports means no pack in.

The real pack in game should have been Zelda, but that's more than good enough to stand by itself, so they just didn't bother this time around.

No Melee HD
No Buy

We'll see. I do know several people they will make friends with by bringing them back.

The only way they won't come back is if the Switch games can play multiplayer with 3DS and Wii U.

Wii U and 3DS multiplayer is already separate. If Smash for Switch is confirmed, I have no doubt Switch will only be able to play among themselves.

I'm hyped for Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Fast Racing Neo 2, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and No More Heroes 3.

The way I see it, that's a good investment if I'm hyped for five or more games before release.

Or if they plain don't want to do them for some arbitrary reason. Which could be related to wising for even more people to be able to play together locally.

Ivysaur and Squirtle probably aren't coming back either.
