It's certainly worth a playthrough. I only played the original PC version so can't comment on definitive.
GTA ripoff just play V
Yes. I actually enjoy it more than any GTA game although I haven't played GTA5.
>is the definitive edition better than the original?
I only have the original version and had no problems with it
It's not better than GTA in my opinion, but it's my favorite GTA-like. Even over Saints Row.
The game is great but the definitive version on PC is shit, you're better off pirating the original version.
It's an Asian version of GTA. You basically play as undercover cop working his way up the ranks of a gang by committing crimes, but you also help the police as well. You'll do typical gang stuff like intimidate people, murder other gang members, drag race, extort people for money, etc.
You can dress up the main character, and I think it has an awesome combat system, well at least the martial arts aspect of it is fun. And you can do environmental kills. But as others will tell you it's Asian GTA so instead of niggers in L.A you'll be playing as Asian gang members in Asia.
You're right. It's a GTA rip off but it's a lot better than any GTA game.
It's got a great story and great gameplay. Buy it OP. Definitive edition adds two DLC missions and some costumes. Up to you.
A man who never eats a pork bun is never a whole man.
...
the definitive version kind of looks worse than the older one but both are fine.
GTAV doesn't have porkbun stand.
story got me fucking hooked to a point where i was yelling at the screen. fucking dogeyes man. highspeed chases are 10/10, combat is fun but collectibles are shit, like in any open world game.
you havent even played it dumbass.
>implying
>userscore 7.6
what was your point?
MAN WHO NEVER EATS PORK BUN IS NEVER A WHOLE MAN
Game was fun as fuck but the definitive edition for PC is a broken mess with slowdowns for no apparent reason, a lot of graphical problems (wall textures never loading, rain falling indoors etc.) and in my case there were also a lot of crashes to desktop. I ended up getting an old original version on the 360 and it both looked and played better.
>Out of the Park Baseball 2007
It works fine for me, you fucked something up or maybe it wasn't updated.
>Minor gripe about the game
>Child decides to rate it zero
>User score is skewed
have you ever taken a statistics class?
It's comfy as fuck and the Hong Kong setting feels unique and interesting. The combat's pretty fun too and the story is good enough to keep you interested at least.
Could have used more stuff to do after you beat the game but for the playthrough it's still pretty good.
>paid reviews are better
I liked it more than any GTA
The story is mostly good, but there's weird stuff too. Like, it felt like they were gearing up that one black guy to be a major character but it just ends after like one mission with him sitting on a couch with two chicks and you never see him again.
more like
>WTFFFFF someone gave my favorite game a 0
>go get plebbit 9gag army for help "someone is raiding my favorite game everyone go give it 10's"
I feel like a lot of those user reviews are for GTA Online. GTA5 is a good single player game.
About a month ago, one of my Steam friends wrote a lengthy negative Steam review after playing the online for like 300 hours and saying it's total shit, and then he just keeps on playing it anyway.
>interrogation marks
That's actually fair enough. I personally preferred Sleeping Dogs to GTA V single player, but different strokes for different folks.
Hell fucking yes
HK is a cooler setting than that of any GTA game. For that, and that alone, it's worth a playthrough.
GTA V is a full-on multiplayer focused game.
yes, it has a decent single player campaign but you miss like half of the games features if you don't play multiplayer.
I still consider it a single player game like every other GTA I've played. I hate that it gets a bad reputation over the online because it's one of my favorites.
that's what they're called you illiterate fuck
it's a question mark
