I think the latest patch actually broke the PC version.

The game is objectively quite difficult.

If you want to have fun, just use god mode and try to minimize the number of times it ticks up. Some enemies are just bullshit, so don't feel bad.

Game was legit crazy in the hardest setting. Low ammo + every single enemy, wearing nothing but an aloha shirt, could soak up 50 bullets before croaking.

Everyone here should look at videogamedunkey playing the PC version. I assume many of you beat it years ago on console. The latest patch is undeniably broken.

What is the latest patch though? Last time I remember it was at patch 4(OG release non STEAM or wherever its sold now) something. I have played it on normal and it was quite fun going into it tactical

I'm playing on second to hardest mode and I got stuck after getting into the volcano lab part near the end of the game.

I tried so many times to beat that initial room with the hallway and troops including a rocket guy at the end. Everything up till now has been challenging but eventually manageable but this is just a dead end.

Any tips?

I'm playing the Steam version, so maybe mine is shit.

In at least one part of the game, enemies can see and shoot you through walls.

It's also a very hard game in general.

While all the trigens are bullshit:the enemy, this is one of the biggest bullshiting and unfair enemies in the history of gaming. The worst part is you have several direct confrontations with this fat fuck piece of shit

Not as such, there is far cry instinct, but it is not the same game.
