You should play on Adamantoise!

There is no better place. All servers are essentially the same. Try to get in with the good people on your server and hope for the best. Though, you'll need to be good yourself. Balmung is just erp and Gilgamesh has it's cliques + loads of shitters that will hold you back at every turn.

Another day of PotD all day to level BLM.

You really only need to pay attention after full thrust or chaos thrust. If you don't want to fuck around with gierskogul, it's not as much of a dps loss as missing the enhanced jumps.
Besides, you'll likely only need to refresh it twice before the ability comes off cd.

I went hardcore on PoTD last night. Went from floor 50 to 180 in one sitting. Do I have no life?

Great, I can do my roulettes and read a book at the same time. Nice for when I really don't feel like contributing as much effort as the hyperfocused dps that join me.

What I really have trouble with is getting 3 geirskoguls before BoTD comes off cd again. I can do it on dummies fine but in fights I drop my spaghetti all over the place.

I don't know. I'm refreshing constantly between like 50 and 90 repeatedly. Went from 30 to 46.

I mostly see different versions of Lunafreya and I don't even get it. That character doesn't do or accomplish jack shit.

Depends on the amount of uptime you have on the boss + your skill speed. You can obviously do things on dummies easier than you can in content, you fuckin dummy.

BotD was a mistake.

Can you do FSH and/or CUL and literally not touch the other crafting classes? I know it will cost more but is that all? I want like one crafting class and don't want my inventory shitted up dipping into multiples.

This is why some people have alts

You both have to pick the same quests and be in a party when you kill specific mobs. If the quests requires you both to pick up or otherwise interact with items, you'll have to do your own instances of them.

The game has a few solo instances, which your friend can't join you for, you'll have to do them separately, and are both required to do them to proceed with the story.

It's being changed user, and we don't know much about it yet.

You heard wrong. Battle system is staying the same. The only thing that's changing is the cross-class system.

The only confirmed changes we have heard of thus far is the reworking of unused skills and making the cross class skills system more manageable.

It's so addictive. I'm 99/83 on my aether gear and got a shit load of loot! I'm running it again tonight until maintenance. Fuck you SE for turning me into a Korean!
