Kairi is just voiced by Alyson Stoner again, who has been the stand in for Panettiere since Re: CoM. At this point, she's voiced Kairi/Xion as many times as Panettiere has.

Mickey was the voice from Sora's dream at the beginning of KH1. He also had a conversation with Riku near the end of KH1 (Final Mix only scene).

Does that mean Mickey was also the voice in the tutorial, making sure Sora could actually walk and pick up crates without killing himself?

Back to 0.2, it's interesting to see Sora heading to Olympus at the end. I wonder if this means Disney worlds will have a more prominent role in the plot of 3.

Kairi's new voice sounds just fine to me, so I don't have any complaints. If anything she sounds more like a proper voice actress with whomever's playing her now. Has the new girl done work from any other games, cartoons, or anime we might know?

While Kairi's great, it's a shame Mickey's old voice actor (actress?) died. The new one just sounds... off. I can't help but picture some obscenely overweight Tumblrette who was too ugly to get into actual stage and film acting, but they were able to make some goofy voices and that landed them a voiceover gig. Still, I can't say they're doing a particularly bad job, it just feels a bit off to me after growing up with shit like Disney's House of Mouse, not to mention Kingdom Hearts.

That doesn't make any sense. Then why does he insist on constantly reminding us how important she is to Sora?

Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised then. I guess it's just because I haven't watched Disney Channel in god knows how many years. That and I haven't played a Kingdom Hearts game since KH2. 358/2(?) had graphical issues that bothered me too much for me to consider buying the game (look at how the shubs move around 8:45 in this for an examples youtube.com/watch?v=YZeXq4v5B28), and I never owned a PSP or PS3, so both Dream Drop Distance and the 1.5/ 2.5 remakes weren't an option for me.

I guess I'll be getting up to speed on that when I pick up the 1.5 + 2.5 PS4 combo pack in March.

My bad, I meant to say Birth By Sleep. Still given that I brought up Dream Drop Distance, I actually did buy that one, but I never got far in it, and I traded it in just the other day for credit towards the 2.8 remake. I assume this is common, but if it isn't, I had chronic frame rate drops (down to about 8-12 I'd say) whenever I used the Flow Motion mechanic. That was real deflating.

In DDD he actually had to fuck up. Fucking up was necessary for him to meet Roxas again and inherit his memories. He needed to fuck up so that Riku could dive into his heart and meet the digital Ansem who would give him his data.

So even when Sora fucks up, he's actually not fucking up at all.
