Will Nintendo ever put their games on PC?
Will Nintendo ever put their games on PC?
No.
Hopefully, not.
Emulation works far better than any port the incompetent fucks at nintendo could ever manage.
This
What a retarded question.
Isn't N64 emulation still pretty bad?
Soon they will become third party but only releasing games on consoles
They already are though?
lol
Only if you watch the big bang theory
Even GC and Wii emulate beautifully
I've been emulating N64 shit without problems for over a decade now.
dog, Virtual Console is the best N64 emulation at the moment.
>still ugly HLE shit that hasn't been meaningfully updated in over a decade
>even remotely close to decent
Only problem I've ever had was holes in Ocarina / Majora's Mask not being visible at some angles, otherwise it's good
N64 emulation isn't bad, it's just highly segmented. There isn't one perfect fix for n64 emulation like there is with many other emulators. This is because N64 emulation is quite expensive performance wise to be accurate, so many emulators have taken shortcuts to benefit certain games.
dude why don't you post the switch version? Apparently this is what sun looks like
Because Wii U is an overclocked N64
>Only problem I've ever had was holes in Ocarina / Majora's Mask not being visible at some angles,
Never had that problems with P64 1.6 + settings at
OOT3D was a port, mate, I think they'd do just fine.
nice meme
>OOT3D was a port, mate,
nope. It was a remake.
If they go fully belly up in making video game hardware like Sega did then maybe.
Why is that? It's a 20 year old system.
It's recently improved massively.
-old...
-closed...
-unique system
-...with no detailed blueprints.
Because the parts in the n64 aren't as properly documented and analogous to standard modern hardware. They basically have to emulate gpu and cpu hardware on a modern CPU.
>tfw no one knows about n64 emulation netplay
...They already are.
With updated textures, higher resolution and smoother framerates.
There is simply no reason to ever buy a Nintendo cucksole when they are so many orders of magnitude behind the curve that they can not only be emulated virtually day one, but the emulators perform better than the proprietary hardware itself.
isn't pj64 netplay like way harder than dolphin netplay anyway
N64 emulators were made around SM64 and OOT, of course these 2 games are going to work fine.
Games like Goemon or Wonder Project still get a lot of glitches last time I tried, about 1 or 2 months ago.
N64 is still not as stable, and is very far from being so.
Probably will never be cycle-acurrate either.
>Goemon
>Wonder Project
...the literal WHAT now?
WHAT GAME IS THIS
not really
just connect to a server and then pick a "lobby"
only kind of annoying thing is making sure everyone has exact same rom and save file
Not to mention Dolphin now has VR support.
I tell ya: VR F-Zero GX makes me want to yarl in the best possible way and Wind Waker looks like it was made for VR.
Just think for a moment how retarded you sound.
>Nintendo
>a Japanese company
>undoubtedly the biggest Japanese developer
>located in a country that has the sole distinction of not focusing on PC gaming like the rest of the world
>Sega, a company that allegedly makes most of their money from PC, chooses to focus exclusively on consoles
>especially when Falcom, Japan's last PC focused developer, went full console and will never look back
>hell, even western publishers don't care about PC anymore since western PC ports are most often broken and delayed
>Nintendo, of all companies, will put their games on PC
>He doesn't know the Project64 guys made the code public so the N64 emulation has been getting better and better since 2015
Download Mupen64++
Every company will make games for PC in the near future, GPU costs will get lower and lower with each year as the demand increases that passes and internet is getting faster and faster for insignificant prices.
Consoles soon won't be able to catch up technologically with cheap tables made in China, console makers will have to make their own Steam-style stores to sell their exclusive games on PC once investing money on consoles stops making sense.
