OP here, personally no info about FE was the only thing holding me back from getting one. Hopefully we'll get a traditional FE game soon after launch, and not a year from now.

I do wonder if they will ever do a remake of the SNES games. They tend to be looked at as the best in the series. But after people's reaction to Shadow Dragon I wonder if they feel it would be right to remake those.

Desu after seeing Mario Run I'm kinda optimistic about this, I wouldn't mind minimalistic story in exchange for plenty of units and maps to play in short bursts

for my dream remake the MU would at the very least be a unit you can use in combat and has support conversations. I like the variety it brings in replays

I'm ready for pandering to waifufags, and the continued destruction of a franchise I once respected.

I'm ready for Fire Emblem Warriors to have nothing but Awakening and Fates characters and maybe Ike if we're lucky.

I'm ready for a Fates port to get announced, but they won't consolidate everything into one game, they're gonna try to sell us two games and $20 DLC again.

I'm ready to double down on my hatred of Fire Emblem.

No it isn't.

Awakening is a step down in every conceivable way. The characters are less nuanced in favor of just having some gimmick personality. The gameplay is less interesting. The artstyle is objectively worse and is made to pander to shitty weebs that think overly complex designs are more attractive. They throw in a bunch of shit to try to pander to the old fans, but it just comes off as disingenuous. The marriage system is fucking ass garbage, feels incredibly unnatural and the stupid kids you get have absolutely no bearing on the story.

Support conversations in past FEs RARELY led to any kind of romance because having three conversations and then marriage is fucking stupid.

I would rather live in that dimension

I'd rather have a franchise die with dignity than to lower itself so it can get the appeal of the subhuman degenerate scum that buy games because they have cute girls.

Besides, everyone that worked on the actual good Fire Emblems are gone. Any "true fan" would recognize all of this and call out Awakening and Fates on being the pandering, patronizing garbage that it is.

I hope they put out a port of a complete edition of Fates on the Swtich, that would probably be the incentive I need to go back to that game.

FE, Monster Hunter, and Xenoblade Chronicles X are the 3 big games I'd love to see Switch ports of
