Nintendo

The two best 3D Zelda games

Thats not the game i like the best

>Babby's first Zelda
>Game that isn't out yet

Nice one.

G

No matter which Zelda you say is your favorite you'll always be called a fucking retard
Best course of action is to just say you love them all
But I can say the one I had most fun playing through was between Wind Waker and OoT

Because Zelda is for mature and sophisticated adults like you right?

the series is over 30 years old

Wind Waker is awful and BOTW looks like another rehash.

And each and every one of those games were meant for kids.

Who is her and what they have done to my zelda this one is eyebrows girl to me she needs to get a razor right now.

That's not Twilight Princess HD & Breath of the Wild

...

Not the Zone Midna game.

Better and It was 5 minutes in photoshop no need to razor them now.

TP sucks dick no matter the version. There are only 2 even decent dungeons, the atmosphere is awful, 3 hour tutorial at the beginning, horrible items that are only ever used like 3 times, Hyrule Field is bigger and emptier than the Great Sea, and it somehow manages to look worse than Wind Waker.

Plus, it only has a couple of good tracks. One of the worst Zelda OST's I've ever heard. I'd sooner listen to Skyward Sword than that abomination.

Don't talk about her, okay?

It's golden you absolute pleb

tacky*

U poor m8 lol?

GOTY

No I own diamond jewelry because gold is for poor people

>TWW
>best zelda
Has good characters and story but the walktrough itself is a pain in the ass

Diamonds are far more common than gold. The only reason they're so expensive is because Africa has no anti-monopoly laws.

>a fucking cheap clone of Ocarina of Time that doesn't do anything new, is easy as balls, has no content and has basically nothing going for it aside from it's art style, which was ruined in the HD remake anyway

fuck off you fucking millennial

>believing this
You has a shitty taste dud

>Wind Waker

Gamecube babbies should be burned alive.

I beat the game twice. Absolutely one of the 5 worst Zeldas, along with Skyward Sword, Link's Awakening, Spirit Tracks, and Phantom Hourglass.

And no, I don't count the CD-I games or the spinoffs.

...

>cheap clone of OOT
What?

>Art style ruined by HD remake

Everyone says this but i just dont see how

>a fucking cheap clone of Ocarina of Time

That's TP you mongoloid.

>a fucking cheap clone of Ocarina of Time
Shitposting is a bannable offense.

>Shit Waker and an unreleased game
>best 3d zelda
Really made me think

lolno

Majora's Mask has more in common with OoT than Twilight Princess does.

Wind Waker is the best 3D Zelda released to date. It's only competition are MM and OoT, and OoT is very dated.

Holy fuck kill yourself.

>very dated
Not with the 3ds release

A common critique about Zelda games is how empty they are. Well, Wind Waker is the king of empty overworlds.

All you can see is flat endless ocean and sky throughout the majority of the Great Sea.

It's worse than Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword combined.

>Wind "shittiest dungeons and overworld in the franchise" Walker

Piss off.

Replace Shit Waker with Twilight Princess and you would be right.

It's Wand Wanker

No, it's still very dated. Horrible dungeon design, empty Hyrule Field, and bad pacing.

It's a result of it being Nintendo's first 3D Zelda. They didn't get the dungeon layout right until Stone Tower Temple in MM. After that, it seems like they understood how to make interesting dungeons. The only passable dungeons in the entire game are the 2 in Death Mountain and the Shadow Temple. Forest Temple, Water Temple, Jabu Jabu's Belly, and Spirit Temple are all atrocities.

>the American boxart for a Zelda game isn't using a piss filter for once

It has the best overall track record with dungeons in the 3D franchise, with only the Tower of Gods being mediocre. The dungeons are all very consistently alright, and end with fantastic bosses.

Majora's Mask is probably the second most consistent, with 50% of the dungeons being good, one being mediocre, and the last being completely fucking awful.

Then Skyward Sword. It has the best dungeon in 3D Zelda, and is about 40 - 60% for good dungeons to bad dungeons.

Then OoT, and last is TP. While Wind Waker doesn't have the BEST dungeons, it has the best track record with dungeons. It certainly doesn't have any egregiously bad dungeons. Plus, 7 dungeons is the perfect amount for a Zelda game. Less than 6 is too little, more than 9 is too much. 6 - 8 is the sweet spot.

>It has the best overall track record with dungeons in the 3D franchise

Stopped reading there.

Sharks, pirates, pea-hats, and hurricanes are certainly more entertaining than Poes and Peahats like in OoT. At least Wind Waker gives you quick travel.

>enjoying the twilight world with that awful music and playing as a dog

But it's true. All the others have wildly differing quality, ranging from amazing to God awful. Wind Waker is present in neither extreme, with all the dungeons being generally good.

>fantastic bosses

WW had the weakest lineup of bosses in 3D Zelda. I killed the plant in ONE combo before it even closed its weakpoint in Ganon's Castle. And it was just a copy paste of the jabu jabu boss too. Tower of Gods boss was Bongo Bongo redux as welll. The only good boss in the entire game was Ganon.

Wind Waker actually became brilliant by the end. This just looks like a Twilight Princess tier snoozefest

>TP nostalgia fags
Jesus Christ. The Zelda Cycle is true. Soon people are going to be defending their childhood defining game - Skyward Sword.

In 4 years, people who played Skyward Sword at 8 will be old enough to post on Sup Forums, and they will defend Skyward Sword tooth and nail.

That's not TP.

> I killed the plant in ONE combo before it even closed its weakpoint
Yeah, but that secret wasn't found out until very recently
> in Ganon's Castle
Oh.

Well that's just because you had the fully powered up Master Sword at that point.

WW is one of the worst 3D Zeldas. The puzzles and the combat is really easy and people only like it because of the art style. There are also long boring sailing distances, and you will have to spend hours on each playthrough just sailing around on a big open empty lifeless ocean, with little to nothing to do.

>No, it's still very dated
Not at all. The original still holds up very well mechanically, and the 3DS version holds up extremely well graphically and mechanically.

Hyrule Field isn't empty at all given all of it's unique landmarks, grottos and the fact that it's supposed to be a field that serves as a central hub connecting places such as Kokiri Forest, Kakariko Village, Castle Town, Lake Hylia, Gerudo Valley, etc.

>Horrible dungeon design
All of the adult dungeons of OoT are fantastic, and the child dungeons are pretty great. Forest and Water are contenders for the Top 10 3D dungeons in the series given how intricate and well-designed they are.

>bad pacing.
Fact: Ocarina of Time has the best pacing out of any 3D Zelda. The lack of filler and tutorials make the game progress quickly and is thus extremely easy to replay.

>push this giant mirror down this set trench
>good

>twilight world with that awful music
>one of the best tracks in the entire series
>shit
Your taste is absolute shit.

I've already seen a shitton of people defend skyward sword. How long have you been here?

Hyrule Field is extremely empty. Up until I get Epona, I spend most of my time side jumping until I get whee I need to go. There's nothing there. Later in the game, it fills out nicely with the Poes, but until then, it's awful.

>All of the adult dungeons of OoT are fantastic, and the child dungeons are pretty great. Forest and Water are contenders for the Top 10 3D dungeons in the series given how intricate and well-designed they are.
>Forest and Water are contenders for the Top 10 3D
I hope you get cancer and die a slow and painful death.

I've only seen defenders around 2011. After that, most people only really defend the couple of good dungeons, Groose, and Zelda.

>muh Zelda cycle
I thought TP was amazing when it released in 2006, and still do.

Skyward Sword was pretty great too for introducing new mechanics to the Zelda series, although it ultimately falls short of TP, OoT and MM

Still better than Wind Waker though

>2 rooms in an entire dungeon
>And it's actually a better puzzle than 90% of the shit in OoT

Wow I guess that was mostly back in 2011 time sure flies, they still popup here and there though.

>He uses walkthroughs

That number's very small and are just genuine autistic fanboys who defend all the games no matter what – not part of the Zelda Cycle.

OoT is dull as shit aside from a few of the later dungeons. I stopped playing half way through as a kid it was so work a day

>Epona
>not super sliding

>side jumping
>not walking backwards
git gud casual

>I hope you get cancer and die a slow and painful death.
Amazing. Simply amazing

>Wind Waker is only liked because of it's art style
Wrong

The only good dungeons in Wind Waker are the Wind Temple and Earth Temple. That's literally it.

Dragon Roost Cavern is bad
Forbidden Woods is decent.
Tower of the Gods is medicore
Forsaken Fortress is mediocre
Earth Temple is great
Wind Temple is great
Ganon's Tower is bland

>escort shit
>good

It's the puzzles and design of the dungeons that make them great. Plus the motifs are awesome and playing as Makar and Medli is dope.

WW is trash because it takes 2.5 minutes to sail from one island to another IF you just pass the endless sharks.

except for having a completely new, game changing mechanic and being focused almost entirely on side quests and exploring the dark tone of the game

fucking Wind Waker Gamecube kids, I swear. I wish they'd all fuck off.

>We'll finally be able to play Link with heavy knight armor.

One step closer to a Zelda ARPG.

But you get to look at link's massive package.

Majora's Mask reuses the same engine, graphics, and music/sound from Ocarina of Time. OoT and MM both focus on mask-related side quests and use the Ocarina as a central mechanic to alter time.

Twilight Princess uses a completely new engine, graphics and music. It has a plethora of unique sidequests that are different from OoT and MM, and focuses on the Twilight and Midna/Wolf Link as a core mechanic.

gross, give me back thicc eyebrow girl

Wind waker is the least good 3d zelda, only people who didnt play any Zelda before Wind Waker think its the best

You clearly don't know what "babbys first X" means

My first Zelda was ALttP, followed by OoT then MM and I think it's easily the best alongside MM.

Joke's on you.

Dragon Roost Cavern is a starting dungeon but it was good for what it was.

Forbidden Woods was good, but far too easy even for a Wind Waker dungeon.

Tower of the Gods was fucking great.

Tell that to Robin Williams

One step closer to Zelda 2?

It implies that the rest of the 3D games would give you some kind of "hardcore" experience, when in reality its the same shit with a new coat of paint: get told where to go, enter dungeon, get item, beat boss with item, rince and repeat

I can't;_;

but user neither of those are a link between worlds

And BTW yhe only game that's trying to break the formula is BotW and I'm liking it because of that.

yet somehow TP feels like more of a rehash. funny how it all turns out

Is there a better zelda than Link Between Worlds?

>Plus, it only has a couple of good tracks.

Fuck off retard. You're clearly too dull-witted to see how intelligently so much of the score is written. The effectiveness of the thematic progression is undeniable.

> Wind Waker

No it implies you're underaged and that WW was your first.

Its a meme to think someone's favorite game in a series was their first game.
