Wasn't it weird how Alvin disappeared after he telported away from Murky Waters and never came back into the story ? Also wasn't it weird when first time you meet the Grandmaster he talks to Geralt like he knows him very well ? Wasn't it weird how the Grandmaster recites stuff that Geralt said to Alvin during parental moments and bases his entire fucked up worldview around it ? Wasn't it weird how the Grandmaster had Alvin's amulet ? "That sword is for monsters" ? Alvin is a source. Sources can travel through time. When Alvin teleported away from Murky Waters he didn't go to a different place. He went back in time and he grew up to be a grandmaster.
