Does his fat oversized devil dick have wrinkles too?

It really makes me have a thought.

>MC is basically "No, you have to be stopped because you're the bad guy"
>Forced to fight him even though you completely agree with him, while the MC has no argument

>final boss
>It Has To Be This Way starts playing

>do the dark side storyline on kotor
>end up having to kill people who ACTUALLY didnt do anything wrong

wow nice game

>Bioshock Infinite
>go into it expecting wacky sci-fi alt-history dystopia
>come out of wishing I could live in pre-fucked up Columbia

...

Literally what game, other than Persona 4, does this?

op is making a subtle trump thread

>trumped up
cheeky bitch

Griffith did nothing wrong.

morrowind

>decide to join the final boss
>your allies turn against you and you have to kill them

>whiny /r9k/ faggot
>reasonable
You literally couldn't have picked a worse example.

Pretty much any AC game.

>fighting final boss
>your ally joins them and tells you to join as well
>It's a dream

In what universe is Trump anything close to resembling a villain?

Not all. Ezio trilogy and post Kenway saga had some pretty 1-sided tyrants. AC1 and the boat games had good enemies that weren't complete mustache-twirling psychopaths. One of them even compliments your principles

this universe

I guess you can say he's an antagonist.
By nature antagonists bring change, so Obama was the hero of the story.

...

>final boss is trumped up to be some evil maniacal monster
>when you finally meet her, she's actually pretty reasonable

Happened to me in Fallout New Vegas during Old World Blues dlc.

The ''bad guy'' was actually a pretty loveable goof and was pretty nice. Offers you some mentats when you first get to him.

You big government statists should kill yourselves. You're the villains here, not Trump.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon?

>"we can't let the blacks have any power, it will be a shitshow"
>blacks get power
>its a shitshow

Really makes you what did they mean by this?

>guides you through the whole game, being your mentor
>realizes you will forever be trapped in the nightmare, offers you salvation

Honestly shed a tear when I beat him.

i loved this!
too bad none of it matters

Farcry 4

A villain brings change.

Sometimes there needs to be an interruption to a storyline in order for players' factor of interest to reach the medium for the story.

If the big bad is actually a big big bad, and the game makes it out to be a big big big bad, I'm going to want to know more as to why the fuck they keep telling me why they're never explained.

They may be a villain, but the pure evil is in not explaining to your character why the enemy is evil. That's the evil of the unknown, and how manipulation takes flight.

>tfw the whole point of the DLC was to let Gehrman have a good night's sleep

>fucked everything up because homocrush

That egoistic self jerking fag did everything wrong.

That's the one

Every call of duty game ever

>know nothing about the game universe
>final boss seems like a decent guy with the right idea
>turn on my party and kill them
>join the cause of the final boss

Chose to keep him alive, likeable character.

>villains who did nothing wrong

Femto did everything wrong.

Why the fuck even his demon name sounds homosexual?

You sided with Adachi? Fuckin' neckbeard.

>"we need to create a utopia just for WASPs"
>let black people in

What did they mean by this?

But he's pretty much the definition of doing it wrong, user.

>got so many people killed for his dream
>used everyone who loved him the most
>failed when his hubris got the better of him
>proceeded to throw a tantrum and give the whole planet a deep dicking because muh dreaaaam

NAME 3 VIDEOGAMES, 2 DIGITAL INTERACTIVE ENTEIRTAINMENTS AND 1 L U D O THAT DOES THIS.

>falling for the "griffith dindu nuffin" bait

>there's always this one faggot

I can't help it. I'm not sure any other fictional character enrages me as much as that faggot.

What game?

From leftist perspective, he is.

Every Mass Effect

>Villain is written as if he has some deep philosophy that should make you really think
>Everything he says is fucking dumb and no sane person would ever think they're right

This sounds like Albert Wesker.

Johnny Bravo is best RE villain

Pretty much every JRPG villain summed up right here.

I dunno, with the whole blight thing, I think he needs to go down. Vivec later, after I figure a good use for Amalexia's soul.

>Final boss is dumb as fuck with stupid motives and makes idiotic mistakes
>Sup Forums rushes to claim that they did nothing wrong because of 1 line of dialog in the whole game

>who is Caius

youtube.com/watch?v=NGJz-DkWyF4
in the end, can one even blame him?

>villain didn't want any of the bad shit to happen but they just go with it because it's the only thing they can do

Shadowrun Dragonfall and Hong Kong come to mind.

Though there are hireable mercs who don't give a shit about who you ally with that you can bring along, along with one party member in DF and two in HK.

Game?

I was with the assassins up until AC3. That's when it started becoming debatable. The Assassins in AC Rogue were dicks. I'm now with Templars. It's basically just a power struggle between two clans.

Thing is, that's how it's always been IRL. One side always points out the good they've done and the bad the other side has done. The other side, does the exact same thing and the tools eat it up.

No such thing as good vs bad. It's my side vs their side.

Why is Sup Forums so enamored with the idea that the antangost is actually the good guy?

Except when the storytelling is shit to make it onesided.

God, Kenway saga had a shit ACIII but they had a lot of decent characters, more than the Unity-Syn combo or the last Ezio game

Misery, Misery, Misery, that's what you've chosen.

Because it's always good guys win, bad guys lose, heroism prevails.

They want a new mix

Years of playing always as a good guys.

>Trumped up

I see what you did there

Because more than often their reasons and plans aren't bad, just the execution is what forces/impels the main character to fight against him/her.

It doesn't help either that the main character and their party are nothing more than cardboard cutouts.

...

There are no villains in KOTOR 2

Real life fag

I always find this captures the concept of propaganda really well.
It's so sad no where else in the franchise will have a villain with motives as simple yet, unique and compelling as hers.
