>pc makes a grinding noise and a beep
Pc makes a grinding noise and a beep
lol
>turn it off and go to bed
i-it will be fine in the morning
Literally a non issue, either a fan or hard drive problem. Worst case scenario you'd lose all the shit you didn't back up and 50 bucks for a new one.
>pc makes a grinding noise
>punch it
>the grinding noise fades away
>boot your computer in the morning and the GPU drivers are nowhere to be found for no reason
>PS4 starts making jet engine noises
>turn on PC
>wwwwwwwwwwwWWWWWWWHIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
>CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK
>worst case scenario you'd lose all the shit you didn't back up
>install drivers for a headset
>all of the other audio drivers go missing

Stop posting people with white skin.
It's highly offensive.
I'm Hispanic, and I feel my race is very under-represented on this image board.
Please be more conscientious before you post.
>PC boots up in teh middle of the night
>the command line window appears for a second and then disappears
>then the PC makes a grinding noise
oh god oh god oh god
i love the fragility and upredictability of pc gaming. it keeps things exciting.
>posts a literally white person
>freezer makes a weird noise
>"device unplugged" sound starts playing on PC
>TV screen blinks
>in the army
>government form has demographics section
>race: white non-hispanic, black non-hispanic, white hispanic, black hispanic
sorry kid, hispanic is just a flavoring, you'll never be a real race
>turns of PC when it says not too
>power supply starts whirring louder than usual
>stops after a week
>doesn't happen again
I had a nightmare my computer got hacked once
it was terrible
>Restart computer
>It takes 0.1 seconds longer than usual to boot
It's a mere emotional overtone, and, compounding this, it's a cartoon.
I don't get upset when it's not a real person.
>tfw had dreams computer gets hacked and parents find my hentai
>still get them from time to time
It usually is a power problem not the computers problem
>black hispanic
Fucking monkeys
do I need more power RAM?
>knee makes a grinding noise and a beep
same
I wonder why we have these feels.
>Phone was relaying every picture I would download to my dad's phone
>Was unknowingly shooting him Sonic porn
Holy shit, I still get those dreams.
>have dream where my dad finds all my porn
>have to explain it to him
I don't even save porn anymore, haven't for years.
Then the stupid dream continues:
>entire family knows now
>PC tells me to kill myself
Did he like it?
FUCK
THIS TOO
>dreams of sending family pornography that is far beyond what they would ever deem acceptable
>open up your case for the first time in two years to see how much dust is there
>sweatingman.jpg
He never said anything, but he was saving everything onto his computer.
I found everything when I went on there for some vacation photos.
>PC works completely fine and quiet as usual
>sudden scent of burnt plastic in the room
That's probably a PSU problem.
>PC does this back whenever Total War: Warhammer released
>I was playing it all the time
>sudden, strong smell of burnt plastic
>know it's coming from my computer
>computer turns off
>let it cool off and check all my parts, everything appears fine but know it's not
>still play vidya
>playing vidya a few days later with a friend
>computer shits itself
>doesn't turn back on no matter what I do
>stuck with nearly no vidya because I'm a PCfag
Took me way too long to get a new PSU.
>use Nvidia experience to update drivers
>driver installation failed
>driver rollback failed
>o-ok
>restart computer
>no display driver
>can't click on Taskbar at all like it's unresponsive but it stays that way even after you restart Explorer
>opening anything makes the computer unresponsive until it blue screens
>a-alright good thing I have this Windows recovery drive
>Windows installation failed rolling back
>roll back failed restarting
>restarts into a bsod loop can't even get into windows anymore
>turns out hard drive failed
And that's the day I decided I would never buy Seagate shit again
Turn off the computer for the night and it reboots..
It was the PSU.
I still used it for a couple of days despite the smell of burnt plastic.
The I decided it's not worth risking short circuiting my HDD.
Fun thing though, I tore out the PSU from my older PC that had almost the same voltage, plugged that shit back in and it's worked ever since.
>have Win10
>had no idea they have an option where Windows automatically installs hardware drivers
>GPU drivers completely disappear because of this
>Windows has been installing unknown GPU drivers on top of current GPU drivers
Fucking Microsoft.
why does this happen?
>type in password to log in
>it doesn't work
>type in password to log in again
>it doesn't work
>type in password to log in again
>it doesn't work
>find out caps lock was on
>Win10 automatically updates
>reboot, your account now needs a password to log in
>you literally never put a password in before
>nothing works
And that's when I rolled back to Win7.
actually that wasn't it
I had a tech guy come in and he had to reinstall the os, said it was a known issue that windows sometimes does
>Head to bed without turning off my PC
>"Whatever, I've set it to sleep after around 30 minutes of inactivity, it can turn off by itself"
>Wake up
>PC's still on
>Go to sleep and leave the computer on again in the next night
>Wake up
>PC is in sleep mode
Not sure, few nights before that I was browsing and a white box popped up on my screen, like an exe.and I couldn't move the mouse/keyboard, both unresponsive...
but then another mouse pops up and starts laggily moving across the screen. I nope and unplug the pc...

Nah senpai that's totally normal behavior for a pc
>he doesn't make regular backups of backups
you have only yourself to blame when half the stuff you're using is made in china or taiwan.
>That smell your GPU makes when you boot up a game.
>start up PC
>WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
>give it a slap

FRIENDLY REMINDER TO REGULARLY CREATE RESTORE POINTS

>does it 4 or 5 times in a row
>never does it again
>GPU fan starts making clicking sounds
>goes away when fan speeds up
Reply to this post or otherwise your PC will die in it's sleep tonight
exactly how mine looks
Looks fine to me.
Good airflow, cables not getting into fans.
Literally not an issue.
>PC has a tendency to wake up while in sleep mode
>half the time it goes back to sleep mode
>the other half it stays on the entire time
looks like my last build
Is that powersupply supposed to be upside down?
somebody post the webm
>brother asks me to clean his PC because it's slow
>open case
>literally find a spider nest with shitton of dead insects and layers upon layers of dust
this thing is beyond death the fact that it turns on is a miracle
>run steam game
>cmd window pops up for a second
my cable management is fine
it's my top exhaust fan and I'm a lazy cunt
>start up PC
>car engine noises

>robot's dying screams of agony
>all of the above for 3 minutes
>then, silence, aside from idle fan noise
>Powersupply falls and breaks the graphics card
>play for hours
>turn off game
>leave PC on standby
>PC suddenly makes a whirring noise
>ends with a loud clicking noise
>never does it again
Holy fuck Jamie pull up those gorillas
>spider bro cleaning you pc, trying to make sure theres no literal bug bugging up the system
obviously the spider came AFTER the bugs ruined everything, spiders don't set up shop unless they have a job to do
that job is to get ride of unwanted bug btw, spiders don't hurt humans, he was clearly trying to save that man's pc
theres absolutely nothing wrong with us spiders being in places like that
Time to get a new one
>using pc, nothing out of ordinary
>suddenly hdd goes to 100% usage and everything halts for a moment
>after few seconds goes back to normal
>never happens again
>move mouse
>static sound comes from speakers
JUST
it was from the sound card being too close to GPU
>computer explodes
>never happens again
I fucking love beating up my pc when it makes noise. Sometimes I slam the thing when it starts to fuck up my fan and I give it a good beating like a typical wife beater. Sometimes I end it with a backhand slap and the fan works again.
This thing makes me obsessed with beating wives up.
I like to sleep with my PC on because the sound it makes is loud enough to make me ignore my tinnitus
:3
...
you joke but i fucking love spiders
I'd love if my whole house was had a couple lone wolf spiders in that bitch
they kill all the gay bugs
Me this afternoon
You don't udnerstand user, it wasn't a cobweb or something cutesy like that, it was a literal, actual nest with live eggs inside, very much like a bee hive or bird nest
Place your palms over your ears and drum the back of your head for 10 - 20 seconds.
plss no x
Reminds me of a silly event in my life
>sleeping
>loud noise wakes me up
>wtf
>electricity doesn't work right
>find out later that lightning hit an electric post outside
>smell smoke
>see lots of smoke around the house
>it's only in the rooms with PCs
And that's how we had to replace the house computers
>turning my monitor off and walking away from my PC when i hear a pop and the power goes off and i see a blue sparkle from my PSU
>PC turns of fine after this
However a power circuit was blown that you plug wires into, so it was that one that got done.
Don't do this it makes mustard gas!
Does this work? Not the user you replied to but I'll give this a go tonight.
Thanks my dude.
>Having a password on your computer
For what purpose
ok
>90% CPU Usage
>chrome is the only thing open
People come to my house?
If I have family members over for something I don't want their kids fiddling.
Try having a pair of extremely nosy siblings who can't keep their hands off your desktop whenever you're not around.
>not using a surge protector
T-Thanks user.
That sounds like a method of hacking I've heard about.
If I remember correctly, the infected computer will open up one of those "use your computer from another computer" programs and connect with the hacker so they can mess with your stuff or something like that.
If someone smarter than me can confirm or deny this, it would be appreciated.
