>mfw I did more damage to the xbox brand than sony and nintendo ever could

...

Mattrick was worse, but yeah, Spencer is an embarrassing joke. I don't think anyone would disagree.

I still cant believe how many people dicksuck PR personalities while ignoring the fact that he canceled so many games to prioritize the scorpio which will have no games to back it up.

Kinect was a mistake

people are still salty over Scalebound, Fables etc?

Probably more salty over PS4 having a large catalogue of exclusives, plus a 4K console out for months now, while Xbox has Halo and Forza, and that's pretty much it, and Scorpio is coming out sometime this year with likely no exclusives to justify its existence

Honestly, they're probably still working through all the bullshit legacy that Mattrick left them

He has nightmares about PS4's line up

>Pic unrelated

Blame Don Mattrick.

Phil a gud boy he dindu nuffin.

PS4Pro is a 4K console?
If yes, Xbox One S is 4K as well.
You know, they both upscale games.
Of course, Pro first bumps resolution of some of them to 1440p first.

The quicker MS finish this transitioning into a single-platform gaming experience with Xbox being Annexed by windows and PC hardware the better! Let MS make their game boxes that don't compete with standard console hardware that Nintendo and Sony make. If those two nip companies quit trying to keep up, or out-do MS then we'll see some fucking games for sure...

>itt triggered console plebs get upset based Phil made pc gaming great again

PS4 Pro has plenty of games that output a 2160p image - Mankind Divided, Skyrim, Diablo 3, etc, etc

>Exclusives are all that matter
>exclusives are good
I want you faggots to leave.

Exclusives are the only reason Nintendo is still in business as a company. They're important, deal with it. Nintendo and Sony have them, Microsoft had them, until they all got cancelled.

how are exclusives NOT the only thing that matter?

Yes, the quality and amount of games on a system ARE all that matter (outside of not being spied on by the government).

The best part?

People still defend him

Nah.
Nintendo actually does something to differentiate itself. Whether you like it or not every nintendo console after GC did something to stand out. Nintendo's are at least firt party. Exclusives are how M$ and Sony go at it without actually doing anything remotely prosumer or different to stand out.
Because they are a blight on gaming? Because most good games are multiplat anyway?
Okay. So PC>powergap>ps2 etc. Why did anyone upgrade past ps2 if that is remotely true.

Go back to chugging bud lights with your ex-frat bros while you play some uninspired activision/EA/Ubisoft bullshit on your crap console Xbro.

because it means you don't want the system because it provides value to you, you're buying the system because a gook businessman paid money to stop that game being released elsewhere. If the system is actually good for the consumer, they wouldn't have to do that.

...

Why can't Microsoft stop cancelling games? They are rich aren't they? Or can riches not buy talent type of thing?

>implying i don't own every console.
>implying it isn't the normalfags who defend exclusives.

realistically, the only games that matter are the games that cause these corporate moneymen to spend and risk a lot; third-party multiplat games don't have risk and they're created to sustain companies enough to take these risks.

Exclusives, in the context of our industry and how games are made for these consoles, are ALL that matter. Who cares to make games so political anyway... such drama queens.

You own a nintendo console AND a xbox console? Not cool, man. Not cool.

I haven't the slightest clue what the fuck you are talking about. Third parties don't take risks?

Oops not meant for
Also. Wii U is my favourite. Fight me.

>Nintendo's are at least firt party.
Basically all of Sony's exclusives are first-party, by another name. All the studios that produce these games are Sony owned: Guerilla (Killzone, Horizon Zero Dawn), Naughty Dog, Japan Studio (Gravity Rush, Last Guardian), Sucker Punch (Infamous)

Publishers take risks, not the people who build and whose business is the console itself. If a publisher died and their game tanks, the only thing that would mean for Sony

Nintendo makes their own exclusives for the most part. Very different.

is that a game that is on their platform didn't sell well. If their own self-funded and published product tanks then they are in a dangerous spot. Sony's risks matter to Sony, and no one else's risks mean anything.

Oh, sorry - I didn't knew.
I've heard Diablo uses dynamic scaling though.

It does, I honestly can't tell though. Shadow of Mordor, and the latest COD games (MWR, Infinite and BLOPS3) are also 2160p with dynamic scalers. It usually scales during intense action, and usually only to 1800p or 1440p at worst, so it's fairly acceptable and you're not going over the pixels with a microscope then anyway.

>Ordered an Xbone from amazon for $346 Came with queers of war
>bought an Xbone for 280 same model on ebay used
>Put the ebay xbone inside the amazon one and return it to seller for fully money back
>Mfw microsoft loses a sale
>Mfw I get queers of war 4 for free
>Mfw buying all my games from G2A

Neat.
If they'd release it earlier or at least give a launch date it'd probably be my choice.
But I got Xbone S - and I'm not complaining.
> Except Persona 5. Fuck I miss Persona.

>fuck software exclusivity cause that shits anti-consumer, dog, we're looking out for you!
>but buy this xboneS that plays games a bit better and is all around way better than the original xbone
>and also buy this super expensive scorpio so that you can play these nogames at 60fps or 4k
hmmm

The fact that multiplats are the best selling games on both ps4 and xbone

PS4 Pro upscales from 1440p/1800p and does have a handful of games at native 4k.
Xbox One S upscales from 700p/900p.

That's a HUGE difference in image quality.

That's backwards though. Sony published games are meant to sell consoles first and foremost. They make their bread and butter licensing fifa and shit. If a sony game loses money but ships units they make it back. Risks from third party publishers matter a lot more. Irrespective sony has become a shitty publisher regardless.

Yeah. But i care more about muh weebgames than Sony moviegames.
For sure but his point was neither is rendering at 4k.

This guy just moves awkwardly. Can't exactly put my finger on it but it's like he got a stiff neck and and a dildo up his ass.

Mattrick is saving games by making the Xbox irrelevant in the face of Windows. They'll be marketing capable PCs with BIG games instead of a third console, a third option, a third team. Devs will just make PC and xPC ports and a PS4 port if at all. The Switch will have its games, and the PS4 will be populated by Japanese games that do not compete and do not need to with the Xbox.

Sony at least uses it's lead to fund some interesting games that can't possibly be anywhere near worth their investment.
You wouldn't see Microsoft still supporting a development-hell like project like The Last Guardian or putting the money into localisng Yakuza games.
As for multiplats, Sony does negotiate better deals on a lot of them. I don't think I've ever seen Destiny being played on an Xbox.
I'm not flaming here, I don't own either console.

It's pretty great, but if you're enjoying your XB1S I'd keep playing that. Graphics are secondary to fun.

No platform owner should double as a publisher. Period.

The recent cancellations have been absurd, but we don't know if he was the one that decided to cancel Scalebound.
He obviously has to damage control the decision online since it's his job, but I think he has good intentions.
