honestly thought it would be longer than that.
And now the only time it's mentioned is when people want to point out what went wrong. Even bethesda has stopped shilling it and is going back to skyrim again
Does it have proper modding yet?
And what a pile of shit it turned out to be after waiting for years.
I hope you weren't actually surprised.
it died sooner than i expected
good riddance
I picked it up a couple days ago for cheap. I find it enjoyable. Bethesda did nothing wrong. Why is everyone mad?
because it's a step back from the last game from 5 years ago
>I find it enjoyable
i agree with you.
It's not New Vegas
This board acts like NV is the greatest fucking thing since sliced bread.
I thought it was better. New Vegas didn't hold my attention at all and I wound up selling it.
Sup Forums if full of circle-jerking contrarians that hate anything even remotely successful/popular.
don't take anything here seriously.
You need to be 18 to post on this site, kiddo.
That's okay user you just have shit taste. Have a nice day
What's it like being a faggot pleb? Fulfilling?
One of the few shit games I've seen normalfags reject, it was weird to see.
ITT: Everyone is mad. Noone gives any reasons.
Fallout 4 is hardly popular. It was mentioned erlier in the thread: At this point, it's overwhelmingly remembered as a failure.
Like the saying goes, there is no cure for stupidity. That shitty post didn't warrant an explanation.
For me my complaints are,
-Too much reliance on "radiant" quests, most of the other side quests are incredibly boring and not very creative at all, only 2 or so really stood out
-Main story just isn't good, the dialogue is terrible, the premise is terrible, all the factions are pretty shitty, it wasn't enjoyable at all
-Dungeons get repetitive fast, 99% are populated by either super mutants, raiders, or ghouls
-Skill system lacks any really neat or good choices, it's all just % choices, lot of useless skills
-Lackluster settlement system and gun modification system where most gun mods are just vertical progression upgrades
-Combat was alright, but too easy even on the highest difficulty
I'm sure I could come up with more complaints, there's the usual bethesda complaints about engine, ai, and gamebyro, but those are the major ones.
I'll also add I had fun with it for the first few hours, but repetition started to set in early with dungeons feeling too samey and side quests being really dull, I went melee build it didn't take long before I was decimating everything even on the highest difficulty at release.
So did Bethesda finally find the limiter on how much shit they can remove before normies notice?
No, normies still liked it
our boy Joseph Anderson said its ok to like this game again
I found it enjoyable too, doesn't mean it felt like a few steps backward from New Vegas. The gunplay felt better, crafting was neat until you realize how half-baked it is, the story was beyond retarded, I prefered the unique weapons 3 and NV had over the legendary ones 4 had. Also replacing skills with perks kills any options for role-playing.
Fair Enough. This stuff just wasn't that bothersome to me. Fallout is as close to mad max as I can get. (The actual Mad Max game doesn't look good).
Literally who?
It wasn't too bothersome initially, but as I got further into the game these issues became much more apparent.
Here are my thoughts of Fallout 4:
>it has a pretty good open world with some fun stuff like Glowing Sea which had it's potential wasted
>story is shit like in every Bethesda game, but voiced protagonist with vague dialog choices and lazily ripped off stuff from NV like "choose your own faction" hurts it even more
>Also "find your son" story does not fit in Bethesda game at all, since you get sidetracked pretty often
>Combat gameplay is the best Bethesda's ever done, but that's not saying much since it still has that stiffness, melee is still shit and grenade/melee having same button is retarded
>Settlement building feels out of place and dumbed down, crafting armor and weapons is OK and seems fitting to this game
>Power armor is a neat idea regardless of lore contradiction, but it's super unbalanced since you find fusion cores very often and you don't need to go outside power armor at all (unless you're crafting or swimming)
>Graphics are mediocre, but fuck Gamebryo since it still is a buggy mess with shit AI
>DLC is shit and focuses way too much on crafting and building
>Perk system is unbalanced as fuck, half the stuff is gamebreaking and other half are fillers which only an idiot would spend points on
>Fuck chance based special speech options
>And fuck lack of karma, even though it was easy to farm in FO3
>Infinite levels are a neat idea, it would have been nice to import character for NG+ instead of doing retarded INFINITE Radiant quests
>It tried way too much to be a retarded mix of usual Bethesda jankiness, Mass Effect (or more specifically Dragon's Age with all the companion meters) and fucking Borderlands with legendary enemies and randomized loot
>Like every Bethesda game it feels amazing the first 10-20 hours before the façade breaks down and all the repetitive and janky stuff become much more appearant
>Brotherhood is best faction because it now resembles genocidal WH40K humans instead of moralfag losers in FO3
>Noone gives any reasons
Literally what you just did
>I liked it and you're all wrong because it's good
>Still no rape mod
>Still no settlement overhaul mod
>Only 2 possible gameplay overhaul mods that might be decent which I haven't tried yet since what's the point if I can't play Crossed: The Videogame and force Piper to suck my dick in exchange for keeping her alive
GOD DAMN IT TODD
MODS ARE SUPPOSED TO FIX IT
MODS ARE SUPPOSED TO FIX IT
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Are their any mods that let female characters surrender to raiders and become their cockslave?
And still shit. Mod couldn't even save this.
Literally zero mods, save for the most basic shit like new textures or changing numbers.
it was fun. i immediately deleted it after finishing it though. 0 replay value which is pathetic for a rpg
YouTube channel. He makes analytical vids that are 2 fucking hours long, but he's worth the watch most of the time.
The actual mad max game is actually really fun and I liked it more than Fallout 4. It also has little to no replay value though, just like Fallout 4.
