Anyone disappointed by the state of Pc gaming so far?

The only release missing is Halo wars 2 afaik.

These are all shitty weab games that I do not recognize.

So, yes.

Yeah.

I remember when these images included Scalebound too. PC relies on consoles for games while simultaneously relying on the best cosole games, it's a dead platform that is shoehorned by the poorest of porfags

missing out on*

No, because I'm busy playing games that I didn't play before. Maybe if you listened to Sup Forums less you'd realize that a game doesn't have to be new for you to play it.

Why are there so many fucking weeb games on steam?

Because publishers realized PC users were starved for Japanese games so they ported some old console games for quick money they put back into making console exclusives.

The problem is it's all the undesireable and low quality weeb games. You won't see good shit like Nioh or Persona or Dragonquest, Pokémon, Digimon, Miku etc

>2017
>so far
>It hasnt even been a month
Please die

Why do you keep using my image to shit on PC gaming? And why did you compress it? I made this image because these are all games that are out/coming out soon that I'm excited for. This image wasn't meant to complain about PC gaming, but to show how awesome it is. I just mostly play JRPGs and indies. I don't keep tabs on Western games much so I don't know what else to put on lists like this.

Why would PC gamers buy that stuff then instead of voting with their wallets to demand the good quality weeb games?

Looks good to me

>This image wasn't meant to complain about PC gaming, but to show how awesome it is

Fucking LMAO, that image dose a piss poor job of it. That image you made makes PC gaming look really fucking bad. How do you not realize that?

Because I like games like these and don't know anything else. Why don't you suggest some games coming out this year/that have already come out on PC so that I can revise and improve the image?

>Disgaea
>Zero Escape
>Danganronpa
>bad

He doesn't realize it because he started gaming on the Xbox 360 and thinks PC gaming is about playing old console ports. He doesn't know good games from shit games and just lumps every port announced together.

He is basically ''no taste'' guy who feeds himself every port on PC because he is starved for games.

>PC is good because 10 years later it's finally getting ancient psp, DS and PS2 ports
>missing the point

PC is shit and that image proves it.

>You won't see good shit like these games
>But these ARE good shit!
>that doesn't matter because they're old

Disgaea 5 is console exclusive
Danganronpa 3 is Sony exclusive

Publishers use Steam cucks money on old ports to make games for console. That is pretty ingenious, I support it. Thanks for funding out exclusives PC users.

our*

Danganronpa V3 will come out on PC published by Spike Chunsoft at the same time as NIS America's console release of the game.
Disgaea 5 will be on PC by 2019.
>Publishers use Steam cucks money on old ports to make games for console.
I don't see how this is a bad thing

I started gaming on the Nintendo 64, actually. And I think PC gaming is about having a lot of control over the video games you play.

>Danganronpa V3 will come out on PC

LOL. You helped fund this exclusive for me to enjoy. Thank you steam cucks for paying Spike to give me games.

>actually believing this
>when the north american release date hasn't even been announced yet
The Steam page will also go up for the game as soon as they announce a release date for the game in the West. NIS America will not mention or advertise the PC version, but Spike Chunsoft will.
This will be just like Zero Time Dilemma, Zero Escape: The Nonary Games (PS4), and Ultra Despair Girls (PS4).
If you haven't caught onto this pattern yet I don't know what to tell you.

Why do you support publishers who don't support you? Switch has an installbase of zero but it's getting D5 before you meanwhile you literally have to dream and hope you get ports?

Wouldn't it be better to be on platforms that get confirmation of the games you want? And not have to worry about missing out on half the games released every year for console?

For every game that gets ported you miss 5 that stay exclusive. How is it not better to buy platforms that get al the vidiya you want? Idk why people choose to get treated worse than a dog when gaming is their hobby

I don't have to hope.
D5 will be on PC. Its not coming to PC anytime soon because Disgaea 2, 3, 4, and D2 aren't on PC yet. Also possibly Makai Kingdom and Soul Nomad. I dunno if they're touching those.

I wouldn't want the newer games to be released first. Its better to play a series from the beginning than jump into the newest game and work backwards.

As for why: Because I like video games and am patient. I don't care when I get to play a game, as long as I get to play it. I have too large a list of games to play to worry about playing a game late. As long as publishers continue to make PC ports, however late they may be, I will play them and support them so that they continue to do so and hope that they eventually give dual releases like Bamco and Spike Chunsoft do now

I don't want to buy multiple platforms to play games that I can play on one. I don't want to not have control over how my games function. I don't want to have my games and platform thrown in the garbage by publishers years from now because of the newest hot piece of hardware. I don't want to have to switch back and forth between platforms to play newer and older games that I want to play.

>I wouldn't want the newer games to be released first. Its better to play a series from the beginning than jump into the newest game and work backwards.

You are doing this all the time though with Atelier for example. You're buying sophie and firis right? Or are you back peddling on that too now? You say you want to play the best version of games but will willingly settle for inferior versions. You are so full of shit you realize that?

Looks like Steam finally took away the only reason to own a Vita.

> I don't want to have my games and platform thrown in the garbage by publishers years from now because of the newest hot piece of hardware.

That only happens to Nintendo consoles and fi you throw your old consoles away you're a fool. I'm still playing my PS2 and wii to this day. Publishers continue to support mostly Sony platforms for a long, long time.

PC finally gets a game
>*Also on Vita

All PC's current Japanese games exist on other consoles that have libraries of games that are more extensive with either more games from the same genre or developer/publisher.

There is literally no use for a PC if you like Japanese games unless you like a limited selection

The Atelier series is split into separate trilogies. Sophie is the first game of the Mysterious trilogy. If you look at the timing for game announcements, Firis was announced for PC before it, but later on Sophie got announced, most likely so people could experience the storyline of the Mysterious series from the beginning rather than jumping into the middle via Firis.
Also assuming Durante is indeed working on the port of Atelier alongside KT, this release will be the best version of Sophie out there.
>That only happens to Nintendo consoles
Playstation Network is no longer accessible on PSP. The PS2 no longer gets games anymore. Nor does the PS1. The last notable PS3 game will probably be Persona 5 before it stops getting serious support.
>I'm still playing my PS2 and Wii to this day
So am I. But having to constantly switch back and forth between consoles, hooking up RCA cables to an HD TV over and over is annoying.

Except that most people have a PC anyway. It's not like you need a high end gaming rig to play Vita ports.

Will you agree that PC to you is a glorified console port machine and has basically no identity without support from consoles while missing out on various current and high profile Japanese games?

This is sad because I agree with literally every single thing you have said in this thread, I just really want you to admit and tell me you're a cuck and Japanese publishers treat PC like a dog by feeding it scraps

Don't worry user. Am pacient too as well. I have other games to play and beat for the time being.

Shit no wonder they always beg for ports lmao

> Halo wars 2 afaik.
> UWP
> EVER

Not in a million years.

That doesn't really negate my point but yeah I agree.

No. There are other games on PC for those who are interested in them. I just personally mostly touch it for Japanese and indie titles. It has an identity to some degree, most of which is in Western strategy games and MMOs, but that is there. I just don't personally care for those games in most cases.
Beyond that, while a good many games on PC are ports, they are usually higher quality ports. I don't see it as getting support from consoles either; I don't think of these games as belonging to consoles. Just as games that were released in one place and then released in another later. You wouldn't call the aforementioned Disgaea 5 Switch port to be Playstation scraps being given to Nintendo. Its just another release of the game.

>Miku
>good

Well, you said
>There is literally no use for a PC

I'll give you that you could easily justify buying a Vita if you want a bigger library of Japanese games. But do you really? I haven't even been able to scratch the surface of the Vita library after getting one myself. It's hard to imagine getting to a point where I've played everything worth playing on Steam and need to buy other hardware.
