Are there any good ancient Egypt-themed games, or games about Egyptian mythology?
I thought it'd be cool if there was a Castlevania-style game except it's all Egyptian themed instead of European gothic, but to my knowledge no such game exists.

I never played GoW beyond the first one, but I'm surprised they didn't go that direction. The Greek/Roman gods had a fair amount of interconnectivity with the Egyptian mythos.

Pharoah Rebirth comes to mind as Egypt-themed castlevania/platformer. Though i've mostly looked at gameplay, not played it myself.

This thread seems like a good place to ask. There was a dos game I used to play ages ago with my grandmother where you started out as a slave in Pompeii, you had to steel some guys clothes at a bathhouse, and get out of town before the city was buried in lava. I'm pretty sure you go to Rome next. You slowly work your way up the social ladder, and the farthest I ever got was as a centurion in Egypt. It had a 3/4th overhead angle.
Anyone have any idea what game it was?
